In the car things got weird I sat in back this time and let Louis drive and some how I was sitting over the boys. We drove around for a while and then Niall screamed out of no where "IM HUNGRY!" This made me jump. Liam chuckled at my reaction. Louis pulled into a parking lot of some little local café. When we got out the guys pulled their disguises out and we walked in and then I saw the sign that said "LOCAL TALENT? COME ON IN" I realized Louis had planned this when I saw the trunk to the jeep open. He then proceeded to take my new guitar in its case out and hand it to me. My eyes widened. But he still tried giving it to me. I finally took it. The other guys were just smirking. I really didn't perform often. I was going to get him for this.
We went in the place was moderately filled, But with middle aged people so they took their disguises off. The place had some seats and a small stage near the back. I walked to the counter and Barista looked about my age. When she saw my guitar, her eyes lit up and she beckoned me to the back.
"Hi I'm Diana Brighton, I saw your sign out front and my friends back there." I said motioning towards the guys who were settling down "decided that since I just got this guitar that I should try it out"
"Hi I'm Emilee. Yeah if you wanna play that'd be cool. Let me ask my boss"
She walked off and came back with a hippie looking woman.
"This is Diana, she saw the sign and wanted to play" Emilee explained to the woman.
The woman looked at me and said "Hello there Diana, I'm Meredith, it's nice to meet you. You can play we are really laid back so you can hook the guitar up to the amp on stage."
"Thanks" I said Emilee took my hand and dragged me to the stage. I looked at the boys they were whispering about something. I rolled my eyes. I took my guitar out of its case and hooked it up and Emilee handed me a microphone. I started playing Payphone by Maroon 5.
When I stopped I got some claps and ignored by some but I saw the guys dancing in their seats. They were doing what they called the inbetweeners dance. Liam looked at me and mouthed "Do another" so I did. I started playing You and I by Lady Gaga (the acoustic version) when I finished this one I got more claps.
I unplugged and put my guitar away and walked off stage. Emilee and Meredith were standing behind the counter wide eyed. I saw this and walked over to Louis who was typing on his phone. I poked his cheek, he freaked and did some ninja move and ended up hitting Zayn in the face.
"Come on guys let's get back to my house." I said
When we got in the car they started bombarding me with questions like 'How long have you been playing guitar?' in which I respond 'since I was about 15' and 'where did you learn to play?' I said 'mostly self taught'
It took some time to get home because Louis got really lost, because he didn't realize he had a GPS. We all just talked and laughed it was so fun.
When we finally got home we walked into my mom and Louis' parents hugging. When they looked up my mom had a smile on her face. She came and hugged me. She then saw the guitar in my hand and said "new guitar. Awesome. Better get it insured" with a smile
"Whoa what" I said so deeply confused
