Julie and Brewster walked into the movie theatre. " Here I'll take care of the tickets." Murmured Brewster. Julie nodded. " Okay you don't have to." He smiled. " I want to and I will. Today is my pay day so." He kissed her cheek before walking away from her. She blushes. She felt her phone buzz loudly in her pocket. She looks down at it.
Rae: Dude where are you?
(Julie is typing)
Julie: Out and about. Brewster is with me.
(Rae is typing)
Rae: Who is Brewster? Does he go to school with us?
(Julie is typing)
Julie: No he doesn't. He's a friend and he's a chuggineer in training. In other words he's Zack's student
(Rae is typing)
Rae: Oh a chuggineer how exciting! Where's Dai? Is everything going on okay?
(Julie is typing)
Julie: No. I'll explain later. Right now I'm trying to forget the things that happened to us.
(Rae is typing)
Rae: Okay talk to you soon ! Have fun with your new boyfriend!
Julie laughs putting her phone back in her pocket. Brewster returns handing Julie her ticket. She smiles taking it from him. " Alright now all we have to do is get the snacks and then we can finally go and find our seats." She nods. They got their snacks heading into the ampetheatre that was playing their film. " I take it you like Action Chugger hm?" asked Julie. Brewster nodded. He scratched behind his head. " Yeah. I know it's kinda childish of me but it's been a part of my childhood ever since I was a trainee." Julie smiles. " I wasn't going to judge you. We have all something that has been a part of our lives for a long time." Brewster nods smiling at her. He looks back at the screen watching the ads that played.
Brewster laid a hand on her shoulder. " So what is this one about?" she asked. " It's kind of a horror film. I didn't know he was into that kind of thing. We'll have to both watch." Julie nods. She leans in on him. The lights dimmed. The movie started up. The beginning of it was just fine and it didn't scare Julie at all. They get to the middle of the plot and that's when Julie jumped. She held onto Brewster. Brewster smiled holding her tight. Julie sighed enjoying his warmth. The film ended. Brewster stretched getting up. He took Julie's hand walking with her out of the theatre.
They hung out near the ice skating rink. They both leaned over the second story railing watching the midnight hockey game down below. " God normally scary movies don't cause me to jump but that one did." Whispered Julie. Brewster smiled. " Don't worry about it. I won't tell anyone." He chuckles. Julie smiles softly. " Thank you for a wonderful time." He nods. " My pleasure. It was nice. It's a shame that Dai left you." Julie sighs. " Yeah." She put a hand over her womb. " The kid will need a father." Whispered Brewster. Julie nods. " I'll take care of him if you want." Murmured Brewster. Julie looks at him. " Are you sure?" she asked. Brewster smiled. " Yep. I'm down with any challenge plus what friend would I be if I left you to raise it by yourself?" Julie chuckles. " Not a very good one." Julie heard her phone go off. She answers it. " Hey girlie look I'm at the mall and I can see you!" Julie turns around to see her friend standing across from her. She waved. Julie hangs up walking up to her.
Rae smiles hugging Julie tight. " I missed you!" she squealed. Brewster walked up to them. Rae looks up seeing Brewster standing behind Julie. She smiled pulling away from Julie. She offers Brewster her hand. " So you must be Brewster eh? I'm Rae." Brewster smiles. He takes her hand into his. He shook it gently. " It's nice to meet you." He lets go of her hand. " So I take it you're her new boyfriend?" Brewster nods scratching behind his head. He did that whenever he felt embarrassed or bashful. Rae smiles. " That's cool." Julie gulps. " Rae I'm pregnant and when me and Dai broke up I never told him." Rae gasped. " But Brewster offered to take care of the kid." Rae smiled. " OH WHAT A LOVE STORY!" she clasped both of her hands together. " I know what to write about now!" She held Julie and Brewster close. " A love triangle with a child involved. Will the father come back to claim his baby? Or will the new guy become the father!" She squirmed. " OH THIS IS EXCELLENT!" Brewster and Julie both laughed.
Brewster took Julie home after the long conversation they had with Rae. Julie sighed when she walked inside. She headed upstairs sitting down on her bed. She lays down on her side smiling. Her eyes slowly closed.
The next morning came. Brewster walked out to his car only to find another vehicle parked outside of his driveway. He frowned walking up to it. " Yo! Can I help ya!" The windows rolled down. One hand reached out. It grabbed Brewster's shirt slamming him into the top of the vehicle head first. Brewster howling shaking out of that person's grasp. He held his head. He swayed pulling out a switchblade that he had on his belt. A man stepped out. He tackled Brewster beating him. Wilson showed up sensing his friend was hurt. He jumped over the hood of the car pulling the man that was hurting Brewster off of him. He shoved the man into the wall before letting go.
Brewster moaned getting to his feet. He coughed up blood. Wilson helped his friend up. " Come on let's get you back to Calley's." Brewster nods leaning on Wilson. Julie heard her phone go off.
