I am so sorry for the wait…I lost connection to the internet which sucks because I had this written since Monday.

Disclaimer: I do not own twilight.

Emmett's POV

I was walking upstairs while munching on a packet of crisps when I noticed the animal kid trying to get into the bathroom. Well if it was locked then it was clear that somebody was in there and I even heard the shower running. I rolled my eyes at him. I had seen dad and Rose back down the stairs and the only other person he seems to take an interest to is Alice.

"Dude, she's taking a shower. If you keep that up she's going to start thinking that you're a pervert" I told him.

The kid didn't even look at me as he continued to pull the handle of the door and whimper.

"I don't think she's going to be happy with you if you walk in there and see her naked" I warned him.

He probably doesn't even know what a naked female looks like. Knowing that my words weren't getting the kids attention, I walked closer to him and lightly touched him. I guess I had been a little wary of him ever since he tried to attack me the one time we had been looking for him and even bit dad when he tried to get him off me. I didn't want him to end up chewing my arm, too.

"Hey, come on, dude. Go find Rosie" I told him.

This time last week it was Rose that he wouldn't leave alone and now it's Alice. The kid moved away from my touch and ran past me but not to find Rose like I thought he would. Instead, he ran into my room.

"No way, man. Last time you were in my room, you chewed up my Xbox" I yelled after him.

But then again, last time I hadn't even known he was in my room so it was probably while I was sleeping or while I had been outside. Either way, that's what I get for not shutting my door properly. I always forget to do that but now we have an animal kid in this house, I have my precious items to worry about.

Not only that but what he doesn't chew, he trashes and there was no way in hell that I was going to clean up his mess. As I ran back into my room, Jasper was sitting on my bed with a crayon in his hand as he began to write on the wall.

"No,no,no,no,no Stop" I told him.

"Emmy, No!" He screamed at me as I took the crayon off him.

Then the kid just glared before pulling out another crayon from his pocket and attempted to write on the wall again.

"Dude, stop it" I told him as I snatched the second crayon of him.

"No! No! Emmy Bad!" He shouted at me.

Then he jumped off my bed and picked up my laptop from the desk as he lifted it up as if he was about to throw it. I didn't move a muscle, hoping that he would just carefully put it back down on my desk. He still held his glare.

"Dude, put it down and I'll give your crayons back" I negotiated.

I slowly held the crayons out to offer them to him but he wouldn't be able to take them unless his hands were free. He suddenly dropped it and then snatched them off me. I rushed to my laptop as it fell on the floor and lifted up the lid and turned it on to see if it was still working. I sighed in relief when it turned on. At least he hadn't thrown it. I guess the animal kid doesn't know the definition of putting things down carefully. He probably didn't even understand how expensive these things are.

"What's going on?"

I turned around as I heard mum's voice. She looked at me and then at Jasper who had taken advantage of the time of me checking my laptop to finish drawing on my wall. I wasn't surprised when I saw that it had spelt 'Alis'. He has been writing that everywhere. Well that's what mum, dad and Rose get for teaching an untamed animal how to write.

"Oh Jasper, sweetie. Come here. Wall's aren't for writing on" she told him gently.

Jasper looked back at her and thought for a moment and then decided to walk to mum's side and give her the crayons that he had sneaked out of his play room. Since he had been wearing that jacket, dad and Rose have to keep checking his pockets every time he leaves the playroom to make sure he hasn't sneaked anything out otherwise this happens. Well dad's at work and Rosalie is occupied on her school work so he probably sneaked in the room himself. Or didn't Alice go in there with him a little earlier?

"What was he shouting about?" Mum asked curiously.

"I took the crayon off him and he got mad so he tried to break my laptop" I explained bluntly as if it happens every day.

Well now that we have Jasper, it does happen every day because what Jasper wants, he gets it without further question. He has become so spoilt rotten that not getting what he wants is so new that it angers him. I can't complain though; we are all spoilt rotten by our parents but the kid really needs to learn how to take no for an answer. Mum nodded and then looked back at the wall.

"I'll get your dad to paint over it as soon as he gets home" she assured me before turning to Jasper. "Do you want to help me make some cookies? Homemade ones always taste better than those from the supermarket" she told him.

See what I mean? He does something wrong and he's getting treated for it. Wasn't he supposed to be punished whenever he did something wrong so that we could teach him what's right and what's wrong? His face lit up at the mention of cookies but he probably didn't understand the rest of it. I don't think mum realizes how difficult he can really be otherwise she wouldn't have just offered him to help her make cookies.

Mum held out her hand and Jasper looked at it cautiously but then carefully took it since he was familiar with doing the same thing with dad. Mum then left the room and closed the door behind her. Having a feral kid living with us sure was making this place interesting. We should have our own TV show or something but the things he does kinda ticks me off as well.

Alice's POV

On the following night, Jasper had sneaked into my room once again. I just lay in my bed as Jasper cuddled up by my side; watching me. His fingers lightly traced the buttons on my shirt starting from the bottom and moved further up until he eventually reached my chest. That's when his attention moved onto my breasts as he gazed at them curiously.

I know that it appeared strange to him because he was only familiar with his own body but he hadn't seemed to notice that Rosalie, too, was different or anyone else for that matter. Why was he only noticing it on me? His hand slowly moved and lightly touched my left breast. I didn't know what to do so I just remained as still as possible; waiting for the moment to pass. His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes looked back into mine full of curiosity.

Jasper changed his position as he removed his hand from me and moved his body above mine but our bodies weren't touching. His eyes were still looking through mine as the back of his hands gently stroked my cheek.

"Jazz?" I whispered.

He frowned slightly and then moved off me and hid underneath my bed. I have no idea what just happened but I was given the impression that I had upset him in some way. It would have been so much easier if his words were more vocal but it wasn't his fault. The sooner he learns how to speak, the easier everything will be for the both of us. I, too, moved off my bed and went under my bed with him. He was in a fetal position with his back turned to me; not making a sound.

I wasn't sure what to do. I had considered asking if he was okay but I already knew that I wouldn't get much of a response so I decided to do what he would do; use body language rather than words. I know that dad would rather us talk to Jasper to encourage him to talk back but I don't think he would right now.

I shuffled my body closer to him and gently wrapped an arm around him. He relaxed and moved further back into me as he began to purr; it was something he did every night now. Feeling comfortable enough, I fell asleep.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

When I woke up the following morning, I found myself still on the carpet but Jasper was nowhere in sight. I moved out from under my bed and noticed that my bedroom door was wide open so Jasper had let himself out. The kitchen was probably going to be in a huge mess again.

I raise my arm to rub my eyes awake but as I do so, I notice that the right sleeve of my pajama top is chewed all the way up to my elbow and not only that but there was a fresh bruise on my wrist. How did that happen?

"Jasper" I muttered to myself.

This was my favourite top because it was so soft and comfortable to sleep in and now it was all chewed up; while I had been sleeping. I sighed. Knowing that there wasn't anything I could do for my poor shirt, I tried to forget about it by taking a shower and getting changed into something else. I left my chewed pajama top aside as I walked down the stairs to check on Jasper. I was about to head to the kitchen since that was where I expected to find him but then I found that the door had a lock on it.

Of course; since dad had found out he could open doors and that he was beginning to get curious about things that could cause harm to him, he didn't want to risk Jasper getting himself hurt so he had put a lock on the kitchen door since there were so many things in there that Jasper could touch. The cooker was an example; he would probably end up setting fire to the house.

So if he wasn't in there, where was he? If Jasper had wanted to go in a room but he couldn't because the door was shut, he would wait outside and howl and whimper for it to be open so why wasn't he even in front of the kitchen door? I walked into his playroom and even the dining room but he wasn't there either.

"Where are you?" I whispered.

I ran back upstairs and peaked in Rosalie's room since he likes to spend time in there as well but once again, he was nowhere to be seen. Mum and dad's room was next and when I didn't see him, I began to worry. I rushed towards them to wake them up.

"Mom, Dad, I can't find Jasper" I said in a hurry.

Dad was instantly out of bed and mum had changed her position so she was sitting on the bed.

"Sweetie, are you sure he hasn't wandered off into somebody's room. He has figured out how to open doors after all" mum said.

"No, I've checked everywhere" I panicked.

Dad rushed out of the room and into Jasper's which was where he last saw him. His bed was empty and he wasn't under his bed either. And then dad's gaze turned to the wide open window. He ran towards it and looked out of it and then I heard him gasp. The next thing I knew, dad had bolted past me and I heard his heavy footsteps run down the stairs. I followed him, afraid about his reaction. What had he gasped at? If the window was wide open and Jasper was nowhere to be seen, could he have jumped and hurt himself? I shuddered at the thought.

I found my dad outside where Jasper would have landed if he did jump out of the window. I was relieved when I didn't see Jasper lying down unconscious but he was still missing. My dad's eyes were still focused on something and I followed his gaze and then I understood what he had gasped at.

I stared at the grass but it wasn't green grass.

It was red.

Blood.

So here's the thing, the last two stories that I updated only got one review each and it almost made me lose confidence in updating this because it kinda felt like I was doing something wrong.

I just want to say that I don't mind a bit of criticism for any of my stories as long as nobody gets nasty because I've had a few of those too. (Not in this story thankfully) so if there is anything I am doing that you don't like, please tell me! This applies to all my stories!

So please review!

Also, would you guys want Alice to talk to somebody about nighttimes with Jasper early or would you like her to stay quiet and make Jasper to do a little more? I have got a little something in mind but I won't bring it to the point where he hurts her though.
