So I haven't posted in a year, and for that I'm sorry, but I had some problems with my computer and some personal things to fix, so now i'm back and i'm going to be working on my stories, I won't go into anymore details so NOTE at the end, so for now let's start with the chapter
Today was another normal Saturday here in Namimori, which is until a huge explosion happened, right across the house of one Hotaru Nakamura. He woke up as he normally would, the scene across from his was something many would freak out and cry out for help... but not him, he wasn't too worried, why you ask? Well he knew that Reborn liked Tsuna... albeit in his own hitman sort of way, but he liked him none the less. He quickly got up, changed into something more… covered and made his way downstairs, only to see Hinata and Natsu talking about the upcoming Club Rush event, which everyone was literally forced to join, less they want to fall prey to Hibari's 'divine' judgment, as well as join before the Sports Festival which was going to be in a month from now.
"So what are we going to do for the opening ceremony? I mean we can't exactly have Hibari do the same thing he did last time," Hinata wondered.
"What did he do exactly? I tried asking the previous president, but all he did was break down and cried out, 'the horror' over and over again," Natsu replied putting on a mocking horrified face.
What's going on here guys?" Hotaru asked, he would've asked why Hinata was here, but after years of her being friends with Natsu, he stopped asking. Back in elementary, however, she was a bossy know-it-all, with a terrible temper, and an icy deposition, she would always pick on Tsuna, which in return caused Hotaru to come to his defense, which then made Natsu come in both of their defenses. Hotaru doesn't know the real story of how Hinata and Natsu became best friends, almost brother and sister, but he knew that Hinata was trying to just make friends... sure it wasn't the best laid plan, but hey no one's really perfect.
"We're thinking about something to present as the opening and ending Ceremony of the Club Rush Festival, every club leader submitted their own ideas, we've gone from the Tea Club to the Go Club, from the Kendo Club to the Boxing Club, and everything in between, and they all suck, and we still have a shit more to look through," Natsu stated bluntly, a dejected sigh escaping his lips, as he glared at the bane of his existence, it was a black book filled with each club idea.
"They can't be all that bad, mind if I look at them?" Hinata just smirked and handed him the book, and watched with amusement as Hotaru paled at each suggestion. Each 'idea' if they had the audacity to be called like that, were disturbing and stupid as he read through each of them. The Go Club wanted to do a competition, sounded harmless enough, but the punishment was what made Hotaru shiver, the loser had to walk around naked for the rest of the festival.
One club even suggested an auction of the younger male students, to be sold to each senpai, for what reasons... Hotaru wasn't sure he wanted to know. The Discipline Committee offered to provide judgment to all the 'herbivores', typical Hibari-kun, he thought. He continued looking until he stopped at the fifth to last page, "well this one's interesting, it's presented by the music club, have a student sing two songs, one for the opening ceremony, and the second one for the closing ceremony," he pointed out, showing Natsu and Hotaru the page.
"That's brilliant, and look they don't have any fine print or nothing, this great!" Natsu exclaimed, however, as quickly as his excitement appeared, it quickly disappeared, "but who are we going to choose to sing, we can't have auditions now, the opening ceremony is on Tuesday, and we won't have enough time to practice."
"I completely forgot about that, who's going to... Hotaru... you sing right?" Hinata looked over at Hotaru, who tried to back away, but Natsu, (damn you big brother) knowing where this was going, jumped up in excitement.
"That's a wonderful idea Hina-chan, Hotaru can sing in front of everyone, I mean he's got the best voice ever, this is going to be PERFECT!" Natsu cried out.
"Wait! WHAT?! I am not singing in front of the whole school!" He argued, there was another explosion, but the three of them ignored it, it seemed Hinata was also unfazed by Tsuna's predicament, however she did have a field day laughing at Tsuna, saying that he didn't have what it took to lead an army of ants, much less a whole mafia family.
"Please Hotaru... we can't do any auditions, and you know Hibari is going to try and reject every singer that tries to even audition before they even open their mouths, at least with you he'll have no choice but to not, not reject you," Hinata argued.
"But... I... it's... I can't... I'm not... UGH FINE I'll do it," he groaned, Natsu and Hinata cheered in victory. Hotaru just rolled his eyes and left to buy some groceries. As he opened the door to walk out, he noticed a baby no older than 5 or so, with a huge black afro, two horns on each side of his head, wearing a cow onesie complete with a tail, and he especially looked a little worse for wear, and had twigs sticking out of his hair.
"Tol-er-ate..." he sniffled, as he looked like he was about to start to cry.
"Ne, ushi-chibi, what's wrong?" He asked, walking up to the young boy.
"I'm not a cow... my name is Lambo, I'm 5 years old, and I'm a hitman from the Bonvio famiglia," he puffed out his chest in pride.
"Gomen, gomen, so what's a hitman from the Bonvio family doing all the way here in Japan, and near Tsuna-kun's house?" He asked.
"I'm here to take down Reborn!" He cried out.
"Ehh... but isn't Reborn-kun really strong?" Hotaru asked, the only thing he found weird about this whole situation, was that the Bonvio sent this boy to fight against Reborn, who he knew was strong, he had a feeling that the leader of the family sent the young boy away only to have him killed by Reborn, and that didn't sit well with him.
"I'm stronger!" Lambo cried out in annoyance.
"That's so cool, you want to join me for a walk?" He asked, a soft smile gracing his lips, Lambo looked up and beamed as he nodded eagerly, for a minute he was reminded of his mother.
"Hai," he replied, allowing Hotaru to pick him up, and they walked off.

Tsuna was shocked to see Hotaru casually pick up the baby, and offering the young boy a piece of candy, something inside of him wanted Hotaru to only be in his arms, but he quickly pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind. The only thing right now was that he was worried about what the baby might do to Hotaru, or what might end up happening.
"What's the matter now Dame-Tsuna?" Reborn asked.
"Lambo is walking off with Hotaru-kun," he replied.
"He better not harm or do anything to Hotaru," Reborn stated, bloodlust rolling off of him in waves.
"NANI?!" Tsuna jumped back, trying to get away from Reborn.
"Tsu-kun! Natsu-kun and Hinata-chan are here wanting to talk to you!" His mom cried out.
"Thanks mom, I'll be down in a moment," he replied, he got up and quickly cleaned himself off, and quickly made his way downstairs. "Hello Natsu-kun, Hinata-chan, what is going on?" He asked.
"Ah Tsuna-kun, just the boy I knew wouldn't deny to help me," Natsu smiled sweetly, causing Tsuna to back away, not liking the smile on both of their faces.
"Um... what do you need?" He asked.
"We want you to take these papers to Hibari, and tell him that Hotaru has agreed to sing for the opening and the closing ceremony, so here you go," Hinata said, handing over the papers to Tsuna, who looked at the papers as if they were made of something that could burn him alive.
"NANI?! You two want me to go to... talk to... Hibari-san?" Tsuna back up even further, his eyes wide.
"Thanks Tsuna-kun, the address to his house is on the paper in the folder, so just drop it off, and the paper is just a list of possible songs Hotaru should sing, Ja ne!" They waved as they left.
"Natsu-kun, wait!" He cried out, he tried to stop him, but it was too late they were already gone. "Chikusho! Why is he always doing this to me, I swear, it's like he gets some sick pleasure of seeing me panicking," he groaned.
"What kind of mafia boss are you? You're scared of everything around you, even your own shadow scares you," Reborn stated, as he walked down the stairs.
"AHH! Y-y-you scared me reborn, and besides, Hibari-san isn't just anyone, he's really scary," he replied, Reborn just rolled his eyes in annoyance, wondering if this brat was even worth it.

"So Lambo, why are you trying to defeat Reborn?" Hotaru asked, they were near a river bank sitting on the grass, he handed the young boy a cherry flavored candy.
"La... Lambo's dream is to become the boss of the Bonvio famiglia," he sniffled as he ate the candy. "And make all humanity bow down to me..."
"Ehh... that's so cool," Hotaru smiled, what a weird kid, but I guess that is what makes him cute, he thought as he took out a handkerchief and wiped Lambo's tears away.
"I know... but my boss told me to defeat the super first-class hitman Reborn..." he sighed.
"I see... well it must be pretty hard, you want me to sing you something so you feel better?" He asked, Lambo looked up at him and beamed a huge smile and nodded, "okay, well... hmm... I know a song my mom used to sing to my big brother when he was younger, it's how he got his name, want to hear it?" He asked.
"Yeah!" Lambo cried out, as he moved to sit on Hotaru's lap.
"Alright, I hope you like it," he said, he took in a deep breath as he began to sing;

Hotaru's voice resonated through the sky, his soft voice sending a calming wave towards Lambo, who beamed and closed his eyes, mesmerized by the sweet lullaby he was hearing.

As he finished the last note, Hotaru smiled as he took one last look at the sky. "Well, I'm going to get some food for dinner… you want to come with me?" He asked, offering the young boy a hand.
"Okay," Lambo replied, as he grabbed Hotaru's hand. Hotaru picked Lambo up and carried him towards the store.
"So what would you like to eat?" He offered, before Lambo could answer him, they bumped into a beaten Tsuna. "What happened?" He asked.
"I went to talk to Hibari-san, and told me that he didn't like seeing an herbivore in his house, and proceeded to beat me up," Tsuna replied.
"I see… well I'm going to make dinner at home, you guys want to come over?" He asked.
"We're okay, but what are you doing with that kid, he tried to blow up my room," Tsuna exclaimed, pointing at the young boy in Hotaru's arms.
"Calm down Tsuna, he's a pretty cute kid, besides, I'm thinking of having him live with me," he replied.
"I won't allow it," Reborn stated, glaring at Lambo who quivered in fear.
"Stop it Reborn-kun, and I don't care if you'll allow it or not, it's my house, and my rules, so if I want Lambo to live with me, there is nothing you nor Tsuna will say that will make me change my mind," he replied.
"Fine," Reborn stated.
"Um… how about you come eat over with us, mom wanted to have you over one day, and I was going to ask you earlier but…" Tsuna began fidgeting, a blush slowly creeping its way to his face.
"Sure, would you like that Lambo-kun?" He asked, the boy in his arms.
"Yeah, and I've decided to make you my wife! Once I become boss, you can be my wife," Lambo beamed looking over at Hotaru.
"I'd be honored Lambo-kun, although I'm a guy, you do know that right?" Hotaru smiled.
"I know… I still don't care, you will be my wife!" He stated firmly.
"Hai…" he sighed.
"You can't just agree to something like that!" Tsuna exclaimed.
"Come on Tsuna-kun, I'll just go along with it, now lead the way, so that the sooner I fix you up, the sooner we can eat," he beamed, as they made their way towards Tsuna's house. Neither noticing a young maroon haired women looking at them from a distance.
"Ah Reborn-kun… we'll soon be together," she sighed before jumping of the roof and making her way towards he hotel to make plans to rid her beloved of an idiot looking nuisance.

A figure was standing on top of the plane he was needing to board, his black hair waving back and forth in the wind, his monkey friend on his shoulder looking at their home for one last time.
"I guess this is it, huh?" The figure asked, the monkey just chattered back a reply.
"…"
"You're right, to have Reborn call on me to help him train a potential assassin… that is rare, but Reborn also said that the boy had other powers… I wonder if he's the one we're looking for…" he mused before jumping off of the plane and landing gracefully onto the ground.
"…"
"I know Lichi, but we must be very cautious, I wonder how my dear I-Pin is doing… hopefully not causing any trouble, that girl is such a handful… but alas, that's why she's my Kě'ài túdì," a small smile graced his lips, as he went to board his plane to Japan. (Cute apprentice – traditional Chinese)

"Ah! Hotaru-kun, who's the cute little baby in your arms?" Nana asked Hotaru as they walked into Tsuna's house after dropping off Hotaru's groceries at his house. Natsu and Hinata were too busy planning the song Hotaru was going to sing that they didn't really care that there wasn't going to be any 'heavenly' food to eat, by said singer.
"This is my baby cousin Lambo, he's my dad's sister son, and he's visiting for the next two or three years, since my aunt is going on her fifth honeymoon," Hotaru replied with a beaming smile on his face.
Not only are his skills great, but to be able to lie on the spot without a single hesitation… this boy's potential is limitless, Reborn thought as he analyzed the green eyed boy in front of him.
"Ah I see, I don't remember ever meeting your aunt, your dad never talked about her," Nana pondered.
"That's because they had a small fallout, well at least that's what I remember, but basically dad was mad at my aunt Karin, because she wouldn't commit herself fully to one man, and she's been living in Italy for a few years now," he stated.
"But how come she didn't take you and your brother in?"
"She was too busy with her company, you know that new up and coming fashion designer Jewels by B? Well she's one of the co-founders, and so she was super busy, but she would send us letters, telling us how she wished things would have been different with her and my dad," he sighed sadly, giving her the finishing move, [EXTREME PUPPY EYES ATTACK!]
"Oh I see, well I'm just glad she's trying to get to know you two, would you like to join us for dinner?" She replied, her heart melting at the innocent look the boy was giving him… [HOTARU'S ATTACK IS SUPPER EFFECTIVE!]
"I'd like that, I mean if we're not too much of a bother?" He asked.
"Oh not at all you know me Hotaru-kun… the more the merrier," she beamed at him.
"Thanks," he replied, as they all sat down and were served spaghetti. "This looks wonderful as always," he stated.
"Thanks Hotaru-kun, I'll be back, I'm going to return the circular bulletin next door, please behave," she said.
"Don't worry Mama, I'll make sure they are all being respectful," Hotaru assured her.
"Thanks Hotaru," Nana replied, as she left.
"Hotaru, why are you going to have Lambo with you?" Tsuna asked.
"Well, because he's my baby cousin, why else?" He replied casually.
"But… ugh I just don't understand all of this," he groaned.
"You're not supposed to understand Tsuna-kun, just go along with it, that's what I do…" he said, though I've been wondering how I'm just going along this whole thing since the beginning, ugh… I must be crazy, he thought. During dinner, Lambo was trying his best to take Reborn down, however each attempt ended up in him getting injured and Reborn acting as if nothing was happening.
Suddenly Lambo took out a purplish white bazooka from his hair, seemingly form out of nowhere, and aimed it at himself, "that bazooka from before, he's going to shoot himself!" Tsuna cried out.
"Lambo-kun, wai…" Hotaru began, but it was too late, the explosion went off, and a cloud of pink smoke appeared.
"Ara, ara, it seems I was brought back 10 years… by the ten year bazooka," a voice said as a handsome young man with curly black hair, his clothing style was a loosely buttoned cow-printed shirt, under a black blazer, white pants held on by a black belt with a L as the buckle appeared out of the smoke.
"Lambo-kun?" Hotaru's eyes widen.
"Ho… Hotaru-sama? You're… alive!" Adult Lambo cried as he dove into Hotaru and began crying, promising to be a good boy, promising everything just so Hotaru would never leave him, everyone was shocked by the sudden revelation, none more so than Tsuna.
Hotaru-kun… dies… those words have been going on a constant loop, he couldn't believe it, this must have been some sick joke, Hotaru couldn't die, he won't die, Tsuna will make sure of it.

It's been another few weeks since the incident, and Lambo has slowly began to be integrated into Natsu and Hotaru's family, and when the boys went to school he stayed behind with Nana, who looked after the child as if he was his own, and slowly Lambo became attached to everyone, with the exception of Gokudera and Reborn. The summer heat was bearing down on everyone, Hotaru overheard Tsuna cry out as he looked out to see a young maroon haired woman ride away from Tsuna, while Tsuna looked panicked as the can on the floor let out a poisonous purple haze that killed a crow, at least that's what it looked like from his view in the kitchen.
Seems like another one of Reborn's friends is here, why are they always after Tsuna, is it another guardian or something? Hotaru thought as he got breakfast ready, he soon called out for Natsu and Lambo to eat breakfast, ever since that incident, where teen Lambo revealed that Hotaru was supposedly dead, Reborn and Natsu have been obsessive on a psychological level. Which annoyed Hotaru immensely, it didn't help that every time Lambo used the bazooka adult Lambo would cradle on Hotaru and tell him everything that's been going on in his future.
"Thanks for the food," the three of them said as they began eating, soon they were all ready for school, since today was the Club Rush festival, Hotaru went to Mama's house and happily handed over Lambo who jumped for joy when he saw Mama, it's been a comfortable routine for Hotaru, leaving Lambo with Mama during school hours.
"I'll be back around 5 since we have the Club Rush festival, I'll try to get here early, I can't thank you enough for taking care of Lambo-kun for me," Hotaru said.
"Think nothing of it Hotaru-kun, take care," Mama said.
"Bye," Hotaru said as he left for school, once he got there, he was met with a crowd of students who were looking at all of the clubs the school was offering, he met Tsuna and Kyoko looking at the garden club.
"Hey Tsu-kun, Kyoko-chan, are you guys going to join the Garden club?" Hotaru asked as he walked up towards them.
"I don't know, I'm not good at it," Kyoko replied.
"I'm already in it," Tsuna stated.
"Great, I still haven't decided on anything," Hotaru said.
*Listen up everyone, to start off our festival, we have a special opening ceremony, and to open our ceremony is our very own Hotaru Nakamura, who will be singing us a song!* the announcer called out, everyone began cheering Hotaru on as he sighed and walked towards the stage.
"I can't believe Hotaru-kun is going to sing something," Kyoko called out as the whole school walked up to stage.
"Um… hello, I um… I hope you guys like the song…" Hotaru said slightly nervous as the music began to play, he closed his eyes, and felt the words come out from within;

Everyone was shocked at Hotaru's voice, it had so much power and it held a message beneath each word, they could see that Hotaru was giving it his all.

Suddenly Hotaru began to have flashes of people he didn't know, however in his heart he felt so much pain, he could feel the tears falling, however he couldn't understand why. Everyone just thought that it was Hotaru's emotion getting the better of him, but Natsu could feel the sadness, they shared, so it surprised him when he wiped a few tears from his cheek.

As the song ended, everyone began to cheer as Hotaru took a bow, Hibari smirked a bit as he watched Hotaru smile at the group of herbivores, they should be lucky he's not biting them all to death for looking at his prized treasure.
"That was amazing Hotaru-kun, you should definitely join the choir club," Kyoko said.
"Yeah… you were amazing…" Tsuna said as he blushed slightly.
"Oh… thanks you guys… that means a lot," Hotaru replied blushing slightly, however, no one knew what was about to begin, a fight that would put bonds at stake, and friends against each other.
There's that chapter, I've decided to update MONTHLY meaning once a month, it's been a while since I've written and well I've been busy with work and other things, I do have rent to pay so I've been busy, but I'm NOT abandoning my stories, i'll post the next chapter for my other story hopefully before JUNE but I MAKE NO PROMISES SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME
