AznInvasionPersuasion - I don't know if that's a good thing or not? Lol Well the trouble between James and Jo is that James doesn't have the balls to just talk to Jo about his feelings for her. From the wise words of Lucy of course :)

deb - Thank you! :)

Dia- Well they're not really engaged. It was Kendall's idea of a cute, and sweet way of asking her to be his prom date. He gave her a promise ring. A promise ring can be a sign of an engagement or it can also just be a gift to someone you love. Their status is just Dating at the moment. Not engaged, but it'd be cute if they were :) *wink wink* lol :P

I ALSO APOLOGIZE FOR THE JUMPING OF POV's :)

Carlos' POV

The Next Day...

I call up Kendall's cell phone number early in the morning. I hear that someone picks up.

"Hello?" I hear Kendall's voice on the other side.

"Good morning buddy! I was just calling if you could do me a favor?"

"Sure, anything. What's up?" He accepts,

"Well, I need you to learn a song on the guitar by...the end of the day maybe?" I point out,

"By the end of the day? Why?" His voice questions,

"Well I want to ask Alexa to prom." I state,

"So, you've found a girl." He chuckles, and I feel my face start to get flush. "Alright, what song?"

"I'll give you the sheet music. When you're finished learning it, text me and I'll tell you where to meet up after school." I inform him, and he agrees and ends the call. I smile, as I feel excited for today.

Jo's POV

My mind has been a swirling void in an never ending black hole of confusion. I don't know whether I like Kendall or I like James. They're both amazing guys, but it's hard. I need to settle my feelings by the end of the day.

Lucy's POV

It was lunchtime, I sat at a table in the library doing last minute American History homework. I needed the Civilian War book to help with the Battle of the Bulge. I roam in and out the the shelf, as I see Kendall pass by! I try to call out to him, but I was quieted by the librarian. Instead, I followed him so I could talk to Kendall. I was two shelves away from him, when I hear a gasp. I scrunch my eyebrows to see it was Carlos, Logan and Kendall talking.

"No way! You were actually able to get Lucy as a prom date?" I hear Logan gasp, I raise an eyebrow, and pretended as if I was looking for a book, but quietly listened in on their conversation. I knew I shouldn't but, I was curious."Dang, she's a tough cookie man. I can't believe you're able to do that. Props." He fist bumps Kendall. Why am I tough? Is it tough for me to be a prom date? I question their conversation so I continue to listen.

"Thanks, it was tough. But, it was sort of easy at the same time." Kendall adds, I pull a book out of a shelf to cover half of my face.

"Come on dude, don't exaggerating too much! You're only doing it to find the bet! You're just not comfortable in a cheerleader outfit!" Logan says, as he puts on his backpack. "I, on the other hand. Already have Camille. I asked her to prom the way girls like those mushy gushy stuff. Say pretty words, and then bam!" he snaps his finger, "She said yes, plus with a kiss!" I hear the bell ring from above, and people being to disperse into the halls.

"Well, I'll see you guys later! Also, Carlos I think I'm set to help you after school!" Kendall reminds,

"Cool, I'll text you later then!" Carlos thanks and Kendall exits, and so does Logan and Carlos. I grip the book in my hand hard, I see my hand turn red. I slam the book into it's original placement on the shelf in frustration. Were they joking? Did Kendall really all those thing just for a bet? I felt like a star within me was about to combust into a million peices. Did Kendall really mean what he said yesterday? Does he even love me at all? I grip my hands, but I feel the promise ring he gave me last night. Did he even want to be my friend? Was our love for each other a illusion?

Everything rushed back into my mind. I knew I shouldn't have taken the chance.

It was sixth hour, I needed to consult Kendall about this. I waited in front of our class, but then I see him.

Kendall's POV

It was near the end of the day, I began heading to Theatre class where I have a class with Lucy. I turn the corner, and I bump into someone who was carrying boxes.

"Whoa!" I react and the person falls backward.

"Damnnit!" I hear the person curse, they pull their hair back to reveal it was Jo.

"Hey, you gotta set a good example for fellow students." I add, as I help her gather the boxes. I notice inside of the boxes are loads of fairy lights. "Are these for prom?"

"Yeah, James is suppose to help me. But, his...busy." Jo answers as she stands up.

"Here, let me help." I pick up a few boxes into my hands. "Where to?"

"The gym, I need them hung up to promote prom for the assembly." she says as we begin to walk to the gym. Jo unlocks the doors, and we enter the gymnasium. The loud door behind us echoes through the gym. I follow her as we set the lights on the bleachers. I hear the bell ring for class, and I end up sitting down on the bleachers.

"Why you sitting?" Jo turns to me, as she sets the boxes on the ground.

"Well, what else is there do if? I'm already late for class. I'll end up going to "Late." I sigh, she sits next to me. I lean my hands back behind me to rest my head.

"Yeah, me too probably. Ms. Barnes told me to carry them over here. I wanted to refuse, but she lectured me about being president." she rolls her eyes.

"Must be hard." I comment, after there were silence between the two of us. I scan the gym from left to right. The shiny polished flooring reflects the light from above. I look at the walls, to see all the achievements of the school.

"Hey, Kendall." Jo interrupts, I turn to her attention. "What do you view of me as?"

"View you?" I pause for a moment to think, "As a friend I guess. You're the first person who became friends with the guys and I when we first enrolled here. You seemed like the only non-fangirling girl we met."

"D-do you think I'm pretty." she looks to the floor, she twiddled her thumbs together. I lift my head forward, I look at her confused.

"You're cute, why?" I raise an eyebrow, in confusion.

"Kendall, I like you." she confesses, both my eyebrows raise in shock. Jo likes me? That can't be.

"Wait, Jo what'd you say?" I cuff my right hand around my right ear, "I couldn't hear." she turns to me, our eye meet each others.

"I. Like. You." she pauses after each word, she looks at me hard.

"...since when?" I ask,

"I don't know...winter of our junior year." she murmurs,

"Then why?" I continue to ask.

"I-I don't know. By, the time I realized it. I find myself looking at you, and smiling!" she explains, she puts her hand in mine, and slides slower to me. She plants her lips upon mine. My eyes rise in shock. This is wrong. This is completely wrong!

Then, I hear the loud door close. Jo lifts her lips from mine, I look behind us to see Lucy. Her eyes begin to be filled with tears. With nothing to say, she bolts out of the gym slamming the door behind her.
