BEEN A WHILE! How are you guys!? I hope our friendship is still strong! Now time for a little explaination. I sort of forgot about this story...well not really. Just sort of lost inspiration! Now, I'm still motivated to finish this story! Because I have the PERFECT ideas to put into this story! Enough ideas to make a sequel maybe! Anyways, this story maybe a little rusty since I've just gotten back into it. But hopefully you guys like it!

Kendall's POV

I wake up from the sound of my cell phone ringing on my bedside table. I look to my left and grab it, and answer.

"Hello?" I sigh,

"Hey, we have a meeting with the other guys at Rocque's. About adding more music into our album. Be there in an hour." I hear Logan's voice, and he hangs up. I set my phone on my side table once again and I get up to get ready. I take a shower, and I jump into nice plain white tank and wear a open down striped blue and white button up with a matching tan khakis and a dark brown fedora. I look over towards the top of my dresser to see both Lucy and my promise rings laying there beside each other. I feel a sense of guilt, and I grab it and sling both of it into a small silver chain, and I pull it over my head and it rests on my chest. I go downstairs and and grab my car keys on the hook and head out.

I arrive a Rocque Records and I am escorted into the the regular meeting room. I see across the table is James, with the other guys. I feel tense and he walks up to me, and throws a side punch at me. The hard impact indulge out blood from my mouth. Droplets of blood land on the tan carpet. Logan and Carlos hold James back.

"You fucking disgrace." James spat at me.

"I could say the same thing to you." I barked back, and he struggles against Carlos and Logan's grip.

"You're trash! You broke two girls hearts! And to have the nerve to make both of them cry!" James says, "And to take my girl away from me too!"

"I never took your 'girl' away from you! I don't even know what you're talking about!" I object,

"I'm talking about Jo." James murmurs,

"Oh." my mouth shapes in an 'o' shape. "Look, I never liked Jo. She kissed me." I addressed.

"How can I be able to trust you on this? How many lies are you going to spill out of your dirty-ass mouth?" James' voice was rough and stern, I knew he demanded an answer.

"Because the only girl I love is Lucy." I hold out the promise rings I made.

"Alright, so you don't like Jo. But, you made her cry."

"I didn't mean too! I had to confess that I love someone else! I had no choice, James!" I shout, and he push Logan and Carlos off him.

"So, what are you going to do about the other hurt girl, Lucy?" he asks,

"I-I don't know. I...fucked up. I can't stop thinking about her! How am I suppose to get her back?" I plea, I run my hands through my hair in stress.

"You need to talk to her, try to apologize." James recommends, I laugh sarcastically.

"You think I haven't tried that!" I spoke in a sarcastic tone, then suddenly Gustavo bursted into the meeting room with Kelly behind him.

"Dogs! We need to discuss addition songs on the album!" Gustavo announces as he walks over to the end of the table and sit.

"What? I thought we were done?" Logan says in a confusing tone.

"Yeah, I did! But Griffin wants to add bonus songs. As I do, we need to do what he says." Gustavo exclaims.

"So anyways, if you guys have any songs that want to be included just return here before Saturday. Which is..." Kelly looks at her phone, "...four days from now."

"Isn't that a bit quick? Also, Prom is on that day also?" Carlos objects.

"Yes, that maybe. But more songs means increase in sales means happy Griffin. So, pull out some songs that we rejected from you guys and submit it to us and we'll see if we approve it again."Gustavo explains, and we all nod. "Good dogs. Meeting dismissed." Gustavo leaves the room with Kelly scurring behind him like a mouse chasing cheese. James turns to me.

"Anyways, you better think of something." James mentions and begins to leave, then stops. "Also, Lucy still loves you...I think." he adds. He leaves the room, then an idea pops into my head, and I rush after James.

James' POV

I wait in the main hallway for Kendall. I really hope Kendall's plan works. I hear footsteps and I see Kendall run around the corner.

"Whoa! What's happening?" I ask quietly.

"Jo is coming this way! Just act like we're having a that guy to guy talk." he whispers.

He walks around me so I 'pretend' I don't see Jo. I hear slowly paced footsteps inch closer to our location. I hear the steps turn the corner.

"Well, James do you love her?" Kendall asks, then suddenly the footsteps stop.

"Do I love her? Dude, is that even a question? Of course I love her. I love her so much that it hurts that I have to hide it." I confess sincerely without even thinking.

"Why don't you just tell her?" Kendall questions, I bite my bottom lip thinking.

"Well...to be honest. I've loved her for so long. But, I don't really think she can really love me back. Maybe, that's why it's better to not say anything about it. I'd rather keep our friendship instead of tarnishing it for a relationship." I express.

"Being in a relationship is being able to live through the ups and downs." I hear Jo's voice behind me. I turn to see her holding a few papers in her hand.

"What if we change? Our...friendship changes?" I ask, she gazes into my eyes. As if, rearranging my stars to make my wrong to right.

"Nothing will change." she lets out, "I'll make sure of it." she steps towards me, and put her forehead on mine. "I promise that nothing will change." she whispers to me and I smile. I gently caress her cheek and kiss her. Our lips pull away from each others and I look at her with complete joy.

"Josephine Ann Taylor, will you do the honors of allowing me to take you to prom?" I question, she blushes slightly.

"Is that even a question? Of course!" she accepts and jumps into my arms. Everyone around us clapped for us. I hug her tight and spin her around. After we spun, I set her down gently and gave her a peck on the lips. The girl I've loved for so long, is finally mine.
