Chapter 10-False Love
Author Notes: Been awhile...again, not my fault, things got hectic, and of which i was unable to update any of the stories for the past month or so. Sorry but you don't wanna hear it right? You just want the bloody update. Well here we go! I don't own pokemon or Fairytales. In this case...the little mermaid!
3rd P.O.V(Nixie)
Trapped. No signs of escape within reach. She was guarded, held tight within the quarters of the ship. No Sora, no pokemon, only the grumbling men keeping watch as she could only hug her pillow and pray for her release. She was scared, and lonely. She wasn't even able to calm herself down with one of her melodies due to her muted state.
It's still all a blur, as to what happened. She was on the boat with Sora, looking across the sea. She silently chuckling at the swimming goldeen that brought greetings to the princess.
Goldeen the goldfish pokemon-The pre-evolved form of Seaking. Known as an elegant water dancer, it flutters around in rivers and ponds. Watch out though for if threatened it will drive in for a dangerous horn attack.
Then another boat came, 2 adults, whom ordered her soldiers to attack, she was taken away. She soon after fell unconscious. When she came to she found herself locked away.
Desperately she listened for the sound of the ocean waves. The gentle tides outside the small circular window slowly lullabies her to sleep. She dreams of her prince. Knowing he will return to her.
3rd P.O.V(Sora)
He was enraged. 'How dare they do this?' He knew his parents to be demanding of him. But to think that they would go this far. Attacking his crew, hurting Nixie and taking her away as a prisoner. Just to have a little chat with his parents.
"Now now, there's no reason to be upset." The prince felt steam leaving his ears. He had no doubt that neither his mother or father would say such a thing had the situation been reversed. "My decision still stands, I will not marry and take the throne!"
His father sighs while his mother sends a disappointed gaze. "Then what of your little friend? What will she do?" His expression showed a combination of being appalled and horrified. His parents just threatened an innocent girls life...all for the sake of him to marry a princess(a stranger) of their choosing.
His glare intensifies. "Had I'd known you'd pull such shameful stunts I'd have immediately rejected your request of my presence. You seem to be doing well despite your illness mother..." They thought they could chain him. Make him do whatever they wished of him.
It was due to such a strained relationship between him and them that he left. And now they drag him back. Hoping to settle this once and for all. "Well my son? A life hangs in the balance of your decision." Gritting his teeth, he heeds their demands.
He was to accompany them to the destination of another royal family, pay respects to them and meet his future fiancee. Of which he would be engaged...afterwards he'd be able to see Nixie. "If I find that she was mistreated in ANY way, I will no longer listen. Take great care that she is unharmed."
He excuses himself to prepare, not at all caring for his parents reactions. It would not be long before their arrival. Exchanging his comfortable slacks and loose fitted shirts. For tight, heavy robes and pointless accessories.
Looking at the jewels reminded him of his companion. Nixie was a gem to him, a priceless pure jewel. Shined brighter then the stars, with a kind smile that warms you like the sun. The idea of her trapped and used as a hostage churned his stomach. "My prince, we have reached our destination."
With a sigh he leaves the safety of his room. He walks alongside his parents, silent, still aggravated with them and their selfish decisions. Bowing before Queen Tanya, and King Rex, who also summoned their only daughter to join them.
"Welcome, thank you for coming. We are honored to have you in our presence." The three all rise, mumbling similar compliments and introductions. Sora felt uncomfortable, wishing he was away from his parents and the duty they have casted on him.
The door is opened. "I apologize for my tardiness father, mother." A woman, long silky raven black hair. Green eyes that represented a clean clear forest. He was stunned, unmoble at first. Unable to regain composure. "I'd like to introduce you to my daughter Alice. She is to be your fiancee prince Sora." She curtsy.
Quietly gasping, finally getting a good look at Sora, she recognizing him. He was the boy she found on the beach that day. "It's you!" His memories are coming back to him, swirling through his head. Though still unclear, she was the one he saw when he came to. 'She's the one who saved me...'
Both sets of parents smile, liking the way the two were taking to eachother. It doesn't take long for the discussion of their marriage to be arranged. They were to be wed within a weeks time.
As agreed Nixie was released. Unaware of the current change in events. She searches for Sora, who is still in a daze, feeling bliss. She pokes him to get him back to reality. "Oh thank goodness you're ok." He hugs her, relieved. She hugs back, tears leaking through the corners of her eyes.
"That's right i have something to tell you!" She stares at him, seeing the excitement in his eyes. He seemed happy. "Do remember how I told you that I got shipwrecked...and I was rescued by a maiden?"
There was no doubt she remembered. Considering she was the one who saved him. He continues on, knowing she was paying attention. "Well I found her, that mysterious girl I found her, she's a princess of a neighboring kingdom. I'll be marrying her in a week."
Whatever hope she had of being with him died that instant. She kept smiling at him, and he seemed concerned over her for an instant. Her smile wasn't the same.
Nixie paid no mind to his questions. For like he was before, she was lost in her thoughts. She could feel it, she could hear it, her heart was cracking, splitting apart. Becoming pieces that can't be put together again...it was over.

I must say I apologize...the last 2 chapters were weirdly formatted, which makes no sense to me since i purposely edit it so that it looks right(at least to me) I didn't realize until after i started this chapter.
