Chapter 11-Her Life or His Happiness

Author Notes: Graaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr *cries* Sorry all, i took so long, i finished typing, i saved then thinking i still had the window opened i saved again and realized i saved chapter 10 over chapter 11...-_-'

SO i have to retype it. May not come out as good as it's original piece, it's also shorter...you have my greatest apologies. On the bright side, this story is soon reaching it's ending yay! Thank you to all who've stuck by this story. I don't own Pokemon nor the fairytales used.

3rd P.O.V

Sora was in a state of bliss, time passed far too quickly in his opinion. He no longer paid any attention to his friends, human or pokemon. Only the fact that he be married.

Married to the girl that he believed was his rescuer that day. Blind to the truth, unaware that his true savior was always beside him. But he cared not, he had his grrom outfit tailored, had invitations set out, and slept peaceful dreams.

Meanwhile the mermaid princess followed a new set of habits. She had changed. Her feelings, her hope, her life even was fading away. No longer did she play her instruments, or interact with the pokemon of the sea and land. She was a shell of her former self, hollow blank eyes, huge weight loss, broken. Many of the servants were too busy to care for the girl.

But one worried from afar and tried to help. Ruth, she took notice of her lords guest's skipped meals and vanishing acts. But there was nothing she could do for out of all, she was the busiest.

Nixie was long gone from her joyous state. Every night she could be found at the beach staring at the gentle tides of the ocean, singing it's lullaby. As fat salty crystals dropped from her cheeks. When she hadn't felt numb, she felt anger and despair.

'I was the one who rescued him. I was the one who loved him. Why didn't he choose me?' Leafeon watched as the poor suffering maiden hugged her glaceon. She felt so alone, no one could help her now.

Glaceon emotional, did her best to sooth her princesses pains. But she also knew deep down that soon she would no longer feel Nixies' warmth or kind smile. As if yesterday, the Witch Lena's evil cackles still echo through her ears.

She remembers that fateful day, when all of this started...the deal made reaching back from the far corners of the ice pokemons mind, haunting her. Because Nixie was fated to die because of the prince's choice.

"Princess Nixie, I will offer you this. I will give you a magic potion, that will bear you the body of a human, you will be able to walk on dry land and be with your precious prince. HOWEVER…If he finds love for another on the daybreak of their wedding you will die…becoming seafoam of the oceans surface."

That day was coming quickly. 'There has to be something I can do. I have to save her! She...doesn't deserve this!' After her friend had finally felt the exhaustion being too much to take, and laid down in her chamber to rest, the snow pokemon set off. Leafeon silently accompanying her. She made her way through the tides and dived under returning to her original form.

The grass eevee evolution watched with a gloomy expression, praying for her safe journey, and a promise to protect and help the mermaid princess in her final times of life.

After several rises and settings of the sun, the preparations were made, the guests arrived and the vows were made. Prince Sora and Princess Alice were happily married and everyone went to celebrate.

Currently everyone was on the boat where the wedding took place, partying, singing, dancing, feasting. The newlywed couple glanced at their guests enjoying themselves.

Alice however noticed a unfamiliar face. "Who is that my love?" He looks towards her direction, eyes widen in surprise. "That is my friend. I found her unconscious at the beach outside the summer palace. She's been staying with me since"

A pang struck within the pair. Alice with jealousy, knowing that he and her are close. Sora with guilt. Some friend he's been, while he's in la la land, fantasizing about him and Alice's future, he's neglected his friend, one who has never judged him or cared for his status.

He smiles sheepishly, "Do you want to meet her?" In all honesty she was uneasy with the idea but agrees nonetheless. She would be polite. There they came towards her. She was leaning against the rails, yet when she turned around, she stiffened at the sight of them. He smiles nervously at her, "Hey."

Biting her lip, Alice in concern of her pale complexion and thinness asked if she was alright. Not understanding Nixie's lack of response she repeats her question. Silently demanding she reply. Behind her, her husband sighs.

"She can't speak my dear, she's mute." Ashamed, Alice stares wide-eyed at the girl who's scowling with irritation. She was practically begged here by Ruth, and wanting to spend her last moments by the sea, she was upset enough by attending the wedding.

Now being forced to be around the man she can never have, with another woman by his side and just hearing him call him his 'dear' was a torture. She walked away from the couple, staring at the stares, her eyes glazing over. Over the hours the sky grew lighter, everyone one by one fell into a deep slumber.

"Nixieeeeee. Sisterrrrrrr." She rubs her tired eyes, blinking. 'I must've fallen asleep.' She was dreaming of the life she had before. But all dreams end. "Nix! Over here!"

Hearing the splashes of unnatural waves. They were here...they came.

Author Notes: Stopping here folks. So yay almost done, it's been a long while since i first started the poketales series. I think that at least for a bit i'm gonna take a break from this series after the little mermaid is done

. But please anyone who is still willing to stick around with me, send me what fairytales you want me to pokefy and what possible pokemon you want as the cast(warning i will not be doing any pokemon that are after the sinno region for the most part, their may be exceptions if too many people choose that pokemon)~
