"Have you talked to him yet?" he's been asking me this everyday

"No and I don't plan to for a while"

"He's your father Bella. You can't just ignore him forever"

"He doesn't think we can take care of our children so I have nothing to say to him"

I finished changing Ryan's diaper and clutched him closely to my chest.

"He's not saying we're not capable he just wants to make sure were using our money wisely"

"You're taking his side?" I asked appalled

"There are no sides, love. I just meant that I heard his thoughts and he was just worried about us but mainly you"

"Well why don't you call him then"

"Because you're his daughter" he looked down before saying the next part "And he has a point"

I spun around to glare at him so fast that Ryan's head whipped around.

"And what point might that be?"

"I'm the man of the house and I should be earning the money"

"We don't need money"

"But it wouldn't hurt to make a little extra. I talked to Carlisle and he agreed to let me work at the hospital with him until the baby is born"

I scoffed loudly and walked out of the room wiping my tears. All of sudden he was getting a job and siding with my father.

"Fine go and get a job" I put Ryan's coat on and handed him his juice cup while walking towards the front door "And leave me here all alone pregnant with two kids. I mean that other time you left me alone it worked out great"

"Bella" he rushed after me "Where are you going?"

"Out…alone"

I slammed the door loudly that the whole frame shook.

"Dammit" he muttered

I didn't know why I was so mad…but I just was. Did there have to be a reason? I knew that it was a low blow bringing up the Volturi incident. I didn't mention their name but he knew what I was going for. Abby was crying and I felt bad for scaring her but I had to get my point across and this was the only way. He wouldn't listen to me. I spotted the carriage lying against the front porch and figured a walk would do me good. I placed Ryan in the front and he looked up confused.

"We're going to go for a walk"

He smiled and clapped his hands excitedly. I rolled him out down the gravel driveway and out along the path. I needed to clear my head of all madness going on. I started picking up my pace once I got to the end of path. I didn't plan on going far but I wanted to get far enough the Edward wouldn't follow.

"Are you sleeping?" I bent down to look at him

"No" he muttered laying his back against his seat

It was a little chilly out but after walking for 10 minutes I warmed up. I felt Ryan's hands and they were cold.

"How about we head back home and I have a feeling daddy will be there waiting for me"

I steered us back towards the house and was walking down the path towards our cottage and of course… down the road I could see Edward was walking towards us with Abby on his hip.

"You can't even give me 10 minutes alone" I yelled

"I don't want you walking the streets by yourself"

I rolled my eyes and pushed the stroller right past him but he grabbed my arm.

"Don't walk away from me" he pleaded "Tell me what's wrong? You can't really be this upset over me working for a couple days a week"

"I don't want you to leave me alone" I cried "You remember what happened last time"

I sat down on a rock and Edward followed my lead.

"Yes and that will never happen again, you have my word the Volturi will never get near you or our children ever"

"I know that I'm just over reacting"

"No you're not" he leaned over to kiss my forehead

"I just don't understand why you have to work"

"It will only be a couple of days for a few hours. It's not like I'm going to be gone from 6am to won't be alone because I'll either have you at the big house or someone will come spend the day with you"

"I hate my dad for making you do this"

"Hey you do not and he's not making me do anything"

"I don't want you working. I want you home with me"

"I know love"

I was currently looking at myself in the mirror, turning from side to side. The last two times I was pregnant I dreaded the weight gain but this time I was looking forward to it. Carlisle already told me that I would not be as big this time, so I shouldn't gain too much.

"Bring a sweatshirt, Alice said that'll be cold tonight"

"Okay" I grabbed my fuzzy fleece out of the closet

For the first time in over a year, the family was playing baseball. From the heat we had early in the week, thunder storms were said to happen all through the night.

"Everyone's there and the kids are in the car. Are you almost ready?" Edward said coming in our room

"I'm ready" I smiled at him

He grabbed my hand and helped me walk out to the car. I looked up at the sky to already see dark clouds forming. The kids were excitedly kicking in their seats looking out the window and drinking their juice.

When we got to the field Edward surprised me by backing up so the trunk was facing the field. That's when I noticed the big bag in the back seat with the kids.

"What did you bring?" I asked

"Give me a second" he smiled

He got out of the car and around the back to open the trunk. I helped him get the kids out of the car and I held onto them as he took their car seats out. He pulled the seats down and placed a comforter in the back along with pillows. I smiled at him when he was done.

"If it rains I don't want you guys sitting in it"

"Very thoughtful" I pecked him on the lips

He helped dress the kids in their pajamas and Abigail pointed to where her aunts and uncles were practicing.

"I play too" she mumbled

"No baby" I shook my head "You're too little to play right now. We're just going to sit and watch"

"I wanna play" she cried staring back at the field "Daddy gets to play"

"I'll take her out for a couple minutes so she can run around and see us play. Maybe she'll fall asleep after"

"I don't…"

I was about to argue back, I didn't like the idea of her running around while they were playing. She could easily get hurt and her skin isn't rock hard like theirs. Plus if she did get hurt, she won't heal they way vampires do.

"Bella, I won't let her get hurt and I promise that we'll go easy okay?" He reached down to grab her hand "Come on princess"

She excitedly ran across the field with him. I turned to Ryan who was lying down next to me, eyes have closed. I lay down next to him while rubbing his back so I could keep an eye on the two nutcases on the field.

"Wow Eddy, letting the little one play tonight?" Emmett laughed handing her the ball

"Just for a couple minutes" he told them and turned to his daughter "Let's throw the ball at uncle Emmett and he'll hit okay?" She nodded and followed Edward to the pitching mound where he picked her up.

Esme walked over to me taking a seat in the car "This should be interesting"

"Emmett don't hit it so hard please" I yelled over

"She'll be fine"

Emmett tapped his bat on the ground and got ready to hit. I wasn't sure how far the ball would go with a little girl throwing it. He whispered something in her ear and she threw the ball. The family watched in shock as she got it over to Emmett as he hit across the field and over to Jasper.

"Oh my god" I gasped

Edward looked at me shocked at the strength Abby just showed. She didn't seem to notice and wiggled in his arms for him to let her down. She ran over towards Emmett who gave her a high five.

"That's my niece" he smiled "Threw that pretty hard too"

I was suddenly nervous, her strength never showed through like that before. I left Esme with Ryan and ran over to Edward.

"What can I say?" he wrapped his arm around my waist "She's a vampire"
