''Let me guess. You are going to reveal a sob story, D'Void,'' Manny said.
Pierce and Helen glowered at Manny.
''I'm searching for a rare plant in the Null Void. My Null Guardian is very sick. She will die without the plant,'' D'Void said.
''Why should we believe you, D'Void?'' Manny asked.
''I don't have time for this!'' D'Void exclaimed with a scowl on his face.
''You aren't going anywhere, D'Void,'' Pierce said.
''D'Void is going to a place. He is going to a cell,'' Manny said.
Helen began to frown at Manny. ''Just stop talking, Manny,'' she said.
Manny frowned.
''I don't wish to bury the Null Guardian!'' D'Void said as he trembled with rage again. Tears started to form in his eyes. He struggled to prevent tears from streaming down his face. D'Void refused to imagine the Null Guardian's grave.
''Maybe the other Null Guardians can find the rare plant, D'Void,'' Helen said in a thoughtful tone.
D'Void shook his head back and forth. ''You are why I'm always near my Null Guardians now. You always attack them,'' he said.
He still frowned while Pierce, Helen, and Manny exchanged glances. ''Don't look confused. I can protect the Null Guardians if I am with them.''
