D'Void's eyes were filled with worry after he saw the Null Guardian. ''Why are you here?'' he asked. He heard the Null Guardian while it screeched. D'Void gasped before he trembled for a few minutes.
''Why are you trembling?'' Helen asked.
The Null Guardian started to screech again. It used its tentacle to knock Pierce down.
Helen gasped again. ''Pierce!'' she exclaimed before she rolled to him and took his hand. She focused on the Null Guardian after Pierce stood. *The Null Guardian protected D'Void?* Helen thought.
D'Void glanced at the Null Guardian. ''Pursue my enemies, my pet,'' he said. He stopped trembling after the Null Guardian attacked Helen, Manny, and Pierce.
D'Void collapsed on his hands and knees. He proceeded to smile. *At least my other pet won't be sick another time* he thought.
A frown began to replace his smile. Two tears slid down D'Void's face. He stood before he walked and prepared to view the deceased Null Guardian's grave marker.
