Hey guys! First off: This is NOT a notice saying that I'm giving up the story, nor am I putting it on hiatus. I know I haven't been updating as frequently as I (and you) wish, but a LOT of things has happened, and my cousin was like: "I know you hate doing things like this, cause it looks like an update when it's not, but they need to know that you haven't abandoned it." So here I am! Telling you that I'm not abandoning this story!
Recent events have come up where I just haven't had the time, such as: the 2 month premature birth of my niece (she's SOOO freakin' TINY!), running back and forth to the hospital for both my sister AND dad (their both doing better now), CHRISTMAS (this is self-explanatory), family birthdays that fall near Christmas (I'm pretty much broke right now TT-TT), work (when has this NOT gotten in the way?), and more...
Do not worry though! I'll have another chapter posted in a week's time (7 days or less), and since the big stuff has already passed, hopefully everything will slow down soon so I can get focused on this story again.
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT:
I've been thinking about doing another YJ fic. I know, I know. I can barely keep up with this one, why the HECK would I be starting another. It's just...THIS FIC IDEA WON'T LEAVE ME ALOOOONE! I'm gonna end up doing it regardless but whether I start now or later is up to you.
Here's the gist of it:
Superboy has a little sister, except she was created before him and became an abandoned project when they started Project Kr. She finds her chance at freedom when the superhero sidekicks are rescuing her "brother" and she escapes. Never having gotten an objective, she roams around, lost, looking for a purpose. Enter the Joker. ""Me? I've been called a LOOOT of things! Not meant for your pretty little ears of course!" he pinched her cheeks then. Hard. It would've hurt, if she was a normal little girl. But she wasn't. "But you!" He flashed her a sinister looking smile. "You can call me 'Papa Joker'!""
This is a rough version of the summary. The story will be called 'Spade', and as you can tell, she gets found by our oh so lovable psychopath! It'll be a challenge writing him, but I also think it'll be fun!
