"You know you want it too, Deeks." She grins, letting her finger trail up his arm.
"I.. no.. i mean.. yeah but you don't." He stutters.
"I do."
"No... no, you dont. What made this sudden change?" He sighs and rakes his hands through his shaggy hair.
"I don't know." She shrugs but the raised eyebrow makes her cringe back and sigh. "Alright, okay... watching and holding Mario and Luigi was a nice feeling."
"What?" Deeks shakes his head with a laugh. "Mario and Luigi? Really?"
"Oh come on, as if you haven't thought of calling the twins that. It fits... Eric and Nell love Mario Kart.. so i nicknamed their twins Mario and Luigi."
"Kens?" He tries but she interrupts him.
"Deeks... Marty. I want this. Not because Nell and Eric had it all before us...but because this idea doesn't scare me away and you love kids, obviously."
"Kens.. it's alright but i think we've switched places right now. You're rambling, and you're talking babies.. but most importantly you thought of our godchildren's nicknames before me." He shakes his head. "Why is that?" He smiles softly and takes her hand.
"Because Mario and Luigi have to watch out for Princess Peach in around 7 months and 1 week give or take?" She murmurs quietly and looks at their interlocked hands, her engagement ring shining in the sun.
"What?" He asks shocked and stares at her. "What was all this 'i want a baby' talk before?" He asks confused.
"Kinda wanted to get somehow into the topic?" She replies sheepishly.
"So... you're pregnant or is this another topic starter?" He chuckles.
"I'm pregnant, you idiot." The punch on his shoulder following suite.
"Good." He cups her face and pulls her in a kiss that let's her forget everything. "Because while we were gift hunting, i might have bought something." He reaches behind the backseat and gives her a onesie with a printed gun holster and detective emblem. "Thought that would be nice for our own personal justice fighter and wanted to convince you, seems like i don't need to anymore." He grins and she can't help but laugh.
