This is basically my little celebration for Chiliarch and Royal Guard coming out…and for me getting Royal Guard.
It wasn't cool being a demon.
It was lonely.
….Until you mate, that is.
When a demon mates with a human, the human turns into a demon.
They would have eternity together.
Ciel was in love with an unknowing human.
Lu knew, Elesis knew, Chung knew, Aisha knew, Raven knew, Rena knew, Eve knew, heck, even Elsword knew.
But why didn't Ara know?
It's hard to admit you're in love, truly hard.
But Ara….ah….she was VERY dense.
Ciel has dropped hints and even confessed, saying that he liked her, but Ara just said,
"Aw! I like you too! Friend's forever!"
The Royal Guard cried himself to sleep that night.
But, he didn't give up.
He refused to.
This was his mate, he loved her, even if she was extremely dense and didn't know.
Today, Ciel would have to go to his last resort.
…Normally, that would be the evil confession letter, but, he tried that.
- Ciel's Last Resort, at dinner.-
The Elgang were all at the dinner table, and Ciel sat in front of Ara, watching as she chatted away to Eve.
Suddenly, Ara turned to Ciel. "Ciel, are you ok?"
Ciel almost blushed at the fact he had been busted staring, but handled himself.
He stared at Ara determinedly then looked down to release his blush.
This was his chance to say it.
'My chance…'
'My chance.'
'My chance…!'
He looked up, all traces of his blush gone. "I'm fine, but I would like to ask you something."
Ara put down her fork and dabbed at her mouth with a napkin, giving Ciel her undivided attention. "What is it, Ciel?"
Ciel stood up and muttered something to Ara.
"I'm sorry what was that?" Ara asked Ciel.
Ciel blushed a deep red blush and mumbled something lowly.
"Dude, even I can't hear you." Said Elsword.
"I SAID, I LOVE YOU ARA HAAN!" Ciel shouted.
The table was silent as Ara started to chuckle.
'Ah…she's laughing at me…" Ciel's face went downcast.
"About time you just went out and said it." Ara told Ciel.
"Huh..?"
"Look, I know about the demon-human-mate thing, but I just wanted you to say I love you before I say this." Ara looked Ciel straight in his eyes. "I love you too, Ciel."
Ciel smiled.
Eternity. Eternity is something you should spend with the one you love.
And, so, they did. Eternity was theirs.
