The week closed off slowly. With their last major win there was not another movement from the Red Sentients. The vault had been long since built for the last recovered article and Saturday's morning light shinned over the horizon. Of course today was the official opening of Talent Technology (Motors) New Mexico and all Talent Tech fans were excited, especially the Cortez brothers who have been anticipating that noon for four long days. They have waken up their friends and pushed them to get ready. The same thing was happening back in Talent Tech. Camellia and Tyler woke especially early and started to run over the opening. It should go according to plan. The news vans should roll up at least two hours before so snacks should be, and will be, provided, then guests will come to view the unveiling, those with passes will be admitted up behind the sitting news stations (the other onlookers behind them). Tyler would give the prepared opening speech and then Camellia will come on, introduce the HSE and then close off picking the special guests to have a tour with her. Other guests will tour the building much later while Camellia runs from adoring fans. A relatively short opening but Camellia didn't care. She just wanted it to be over with and it was all supposed to go according to plan.

Camellia's Garage/Camellia

I sighed as I turned and looked at myself in my recently added full length mirror. I'm wearing my favorite suit (though I despise wearing them). A gray, Calvin Klein long sleeved, wide point collar, with a decorative belt, black pencil skirt with my three-inch heel, black satin Nine West pumps with a peep toe and a cute flower shaped rhinestone embellishment. I smile at myself. I'm wearing my hair down, the blonde curls draping over my shoulders. I smile at myself. Defiantly my favorite suit ensemble. I heard a throat being cleared and I turned to see my assistant. Clad in his black suit with straight, well tailored pants and well-fitting jacket. White formal shirt with a red and white striped tie that brings out his hair color (which was slicked back) and his black shoes were freshly polished. He posed and gave me a 360 turn which I chuckled at. "My aren't you looking spiffy."

"You better believe it."

"You should send a pic to Amy. She loves guys in suits."

"Oh I know. That's why I need you to take it." He handed me his phone, all prepped and ready and he posed again.

I chuckle again as I step back and take the photo. We walk towards each other and I give him his phone back. "Here you are."

"Thanks Cam." He laughed. "Get it? Cam? Camera."

"Ha, ha. Funny. Listen, stick to the script. Don't go overboard okay?"

"Got it."

"I'm serious Tyler."

"I got it Miss Talent."

I gave him an inquiring look. "You got it?"

"100%."

"All right. Then let's go." We walk towards the elevator and I run over my speech (even though it's already prepared and I know it by heart). Within a matter of moments we'll open Talent Tech Motors and I'm stupidly getting butterflies in my stomach.

Outside TTM, pass holders section/Tezz

Surprisingly we got into the 'VIP' section with ease, no trouble what-so-ever. We found a spot in front of center stage. It was relatively big for an opening stage. I thought of the news report from a few days back and how Camellia stated she would unveil the car today. Just then I get bumped into by an overly excited Spinner. "This is so amazing! Hopefully she'll pick us, her buddies, to take the tour."

"Don't get your hopes up Spin." Vert said to him.

"Yeah." Agura agreed. "She may already have who she's going to pick in mind."

I rolled my eyes. I just wish this thing will end but we've still got a few minutes till the beginning of the opening and no telling how long this thing will last. I looked at the group of people before us. Defiantly news stations here to cover the opening. I spot Sharon Heart and her cameraman and some sort of assistant. They weren't far from us and I could faintly hear their conversations. "I am going to get what I want from her." Sharon said with determination.

"Oh come on Heart." The cameraman complained. "The Talents aren't in league with aliens."

"Oh come on. A facility in New Mexico? In Death Valley of all things? Please. Aliens are so involved."

The assistant shook his head. "She's never gonna let this insane idea go is she Bob?"

"Nope Dylan. 'Fraid not. She's not the type to just drop it and go, she's gotta poke it with a stick to see if it's still alive."

"Quiet you two. I'm thinking about questions to ask her."

I focus my attention back on my friends. Sherman looked at his watch. "We've got under a minute to go guys."

"So excited." His brother stated.

Stanford yawned. "If I knew the opening was so early I would have gave up my ticket. I'm tired."

"So am I." AJ yawned out. "But it's an experience. Not as exciting as extreme sports but it'll do."

"You are your extreme sports. You could get killed by those." Zoom said.

"And we can't with what we do now?" Stanford said with near sarcasm. I had to agree with him. What we do is dangerous but it's to protect the Earth and the whole Multiverse. I looked back up towards the stage since it was about time for the opening to get going.

Inside Talent Tech/No POV

"So no over-excited adlib correct?"

"Yes Camilla. No Adlib. God, you're worse than my mother."

"Stick to the script Tyler."

"God I know."

"Act professional too. You're my assistant."

"I know."

"Remember that—"

"Yes I know! God."

"… Do you want to get fired?"

"No. Sorry."

"Just get on there."

Tyler walked out the front doors and was welcomed with light applause. Thank you for the support over-enthusiastic crowd. Tyler thought sarcastically as he walked up to the podium. "Thank you. Thank you and welcome to the Talent Technology grand opening here in the Salt Flats!" He motioned with one well practiced stroke to the building behind him. More applause but this time a bit louder. Oh I see. Building more important than person. Right. He shook that thought away. "Talent Technology is a growing empire of innovation. It seems only yesterday that Talent Technology was only stationed to one place; Brawley in Southern California. But now there are two, there's one here now. And with these two facilities Talent Technology will only continue to increase living standards and go farther into making your lives better with technology. In the words of Albert Einstein, 'To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science,' and that is just what Talent Technology is striving for, to make an advance on science. Now I know you don't want to just hear me talk on and on so let me get to the good part. Help me in welcoming the spokes model of Talent Technology, the future leader of innovation, the designer and creator of many well known objects, and the supervisor of Talent Technology in New Mexico, and my compassionate and beautiful boss; Camellia Talent!" He clapped along with the roar from the crowd below.

Camellia stepped out into the sun from the doors and waved to the crowd, offering a smile. Tyler walked up to her and the two shook hands. Through clenched teeth, stuck in a wide-grinned smile, Camellia said, "I told you not to overdo it Tyler. Just spokes model would have worked."

Through his own set of clenched teeth he replied, "I know, I apologize. I got over-excited."

"Uh-huh." With that she released his hand and walked to the podium and smiled until the applause quieted. "Thank you. And thank you Tyler for that introduction." Tyler nodded once with a sly smile. She looked back into the crowd. "First of all I thank you all for coming and supporting Talent Technology. And as you may or may not know my parents are at a technology convention in New York and cannot be here with us today." She saw some scattered nods throughout the crowds. "I would like to say that this facility behind me will be like the one in California. It will be open to the public and people with ideas will be able to walk through these doors and have a shot of having their idea for the future mass produced." There were some scattered applause and cheers. "But there is a difference." She paused for dramatic effect. "Talent Technology New Mexico is more than just Talent Tech; it is also Talent Technology Motors." There were some gasps and applause while the news stations jumped the gun and started to raise questions. "Please hold all questions until the end please." Slowly the news people sat back down. "That's right. Talent Technology Motors. This has been a nearly two-year long project. And to prove that it has been that long I am unveiling the first Talent Technology car, the Hydro-Solar Electric car." She pulled out the keys from under the podium and pressed a button on the pad and a small lever popped out from the side. She turned the pad onto the side and pressed the lever forward. The HSE rolled from its hiding place immediately towards the ramp. Gasps and sounds of appraisement were heard as she steered the car via remote to its spot on the stage. "As you can see the HSE has remote control option and a safety often." Tyler walked in the path of the slow moving car and the car automatically stopped. "See how I can't move the car forward anymore." She held up the remote and continued to push the lever forward. Once Tyler moved out of the way the car continued forward and she let go of the lever and it stopped perfectly. Couldn't have been better planned. She mused to herself as she continued. She looked out towards the crowd. "The HSE is the perfect environmental friendly vehicle with absolutely no gas running it. It runs on three power sources, water, solar and electric, hence the name. Here at Talent Tech Motors we will be the first ever to mass produce a car like this and we take much pride in this. We have spent over two years designing, testing and putting together this car and since it was such a big success we created this branch of Talent Tech from buying out Spectra Motors." She sighed and swallowed. Her throat was staring to get extremely dry. "It was only five years ago when Talent Tech didn't even exist. In those five years we have grown from making disks and microchips, to phones, computers and now vehicles. If we could accomplish so much in those five years imagine what would happen in another generation, and I will have the privilege to see Talent Technology through that generation and I promise to succeed with Talent Technology for we are 'Leading the Future', one generation at a time." She smiled as the crowds roared at the company's slogan (Leading the Future) and her own addition to the slogan. Next came the dreadful part, the questions. She answered the questions with ease but they did take up a large span of time. "I'm sorry to say that I can take no more questions." She couldn't believe she spent nearly fifteen minutes on just questions alone. "But now I will pick a special group of people to receive the first tour of Talent Technology Motors with me as their guide." She scanned the enthusiastic crowd but her eyes came to stop on a familiar faces.

"Oh! Oh! Camellia!"

"Miss Talent!"

Camellia blinked. So they made it. The guys from the diner. Tyler came up behind her and whispered to her. "Do you know them?"

"Sort off. I met them at a diner and I gave them passes." She whispered back.

"Don't tell your parents you did that."

"Of course not."

"… Well since you know them you should give them the tour."

"For god's sake Tyler. I hardly know them. Maybe a ten minute encounter but nothing else."

"But it was that ten minute encounter that made you recognize them. Besides, you need friends and I need friends. We can't always bury ourselves in work. It's bad for our childhoods."

"Is this benefiting me or you?"

Tyler shrugged. "If anything it's benefiting them. I mean, friends with the Camellia Talent."

"True." She looked back at the group. "I guess. Why not." She smiled and pointed directly at them. "What about you guys? You eight right there."

"Yes! Score!"

She giggled and as they made their way forward she bid the others good bye after stating that open tours will be given within the next hour or so." She and Tyler waited for the gang to climb up the stairs to the stage. She nodded once at them after being thanked repeatedly and she led them inside the building with a tour and an open invitation for friendship.

Backtrack, after the questioning/Tezz

The questioning was over with and she stated the tour. Suddenly the crowds burst into excitement and I follow her gaze as it finally lands on us. Her assistant comes up and they talk for a few moments before she speaks into the mic again. She pointed at us and said, "What about you guys? You eight right there." Spinner yelled in my ear and we were on the move to the stage. She talked out later tours and then said good bye. We climbed up the steps and I nearly tripped on the last step. She was more beautiful up close and in person. When she first came out my breath had even caught (something I hate to admit) but now it's just… The gang starts thanking her and she nods. She leads us in and all I can think about is her beauty. We walk through the doors and I momentarily stop thinking about her. The lobby was huge and beautiful which once again reminded me about Camellia Talent. I look back at her and she walks before us and turns, assistant at her side. She stands straight and tall with one leg slightly bent at the knee and one hand gently placed on her hip. "Welcome to Talent Tech Motors guys."
