This chapter starts where the last one left off, just so you know… Yeah.
Camellia's Garage/No POV
Camellia sat in her chair and brushed out her when Tyler came up and leaned on her desk, staring her down hard. "Well?"
"Well what Tyler?" She flipped her hair over to her other shoulder and started brushing that side.
"Aren't you going to go make friends? I have. Hell I even got my number exchanged with them."
"You could have just given them my number Tyler."
"I didn't…" Tyler sighed. "Can you at least make an effort? You never want any friends. Just me and Amy and your good."
"Oh please Tyler. I am future head of Talent Tech and I have a lot of work, real work, to do. I can't have friends, or date for that matter."
Getting mad Tyler pushed himself off the desk and glared down at his boss. "Okay, for one, you may be the future head of the company but you're still a teenager and you need to have some sort of childhood and don't say that most of your childhood was ruined because you were an orphan. No. Wrong answer. Second you work too damn hard as it is, you need a fucking break. Thirdly the dating thing is just because of what happened last time—which yes I know you don't like bringing it up—but for god's sake Cam, you're ruining yourself here. You're gonna end up old and alone with no one else. And don't say that you'll have me and Amy 'cause you know what, I don't think I want our family to be raised being close to an antisocial person like you." Camellia raised a brow and smirked at the last part. "And fourthly, don't tell Amy I just said that. She'll think I'm crazy."
"Yeah, crazy for her." Camellia grinned.
Tyler felt a blush coming up but he pushed it down with his own blush of rage. "Really Cam, make yourself do something social. I don't want you to die all alone."
"Thanks for the thought."
"Seriously Camellia. You always take everything else seriously but when it comes to you it's out the window."
Camellia blinked as she thought it over, her lower lip jutting out in thought. She then shrugged. "I guess you're right."
"No, that's—what did you say?"
"I said you're right." She stood and patted down her skirt. She then looked at him with a small smile and she placed a hand on his shoulder. "I've gotta go mingle." Her hand fell from his shoulder as she walked around her desk and towards the others.
Tyler stood, blinked and turned to watch her talk to the others. He then blew air out his nose and fixed his jacket in accomplishment. "Well, you do that." He then too went out to mingle.
Tezz felt strangely giddy. He walked around the garage, honestly interested in the stuff and tech lying around, but he walked in a haze. He occasionally shot glances over to the girl he had just had a minute, two minute, conversation with. He had thought that opening the conversation with accents would be stupid but it wasn't, surprisingly. Hell he even flirted with her a little. He realizes that it was a stupid move but whatever. It's sure to pass over like a bird above your head. He looked over and noticed she was gone, moved from behind her desk. He looked around and saw her talking to Spinner, Sherman, AJ and Stanford. He felt his stomach slowly knot up watching her talk with them, playfully hitting them in the arm like she had moments ago, smiling largely and happily. He felt his eye twitch and then mentally scolded himself. What am I jealous? Yes. I don't like her. No? At least not like that. Oh really? Right? I don't know genius. You tell me. He scoffed angrily at his dropping IQ points. Talking to himself mentally, that's great. He decided he would ignore them so he turned his back and walked over to the others who were standing around talking. He merged into their circle practically unnoticed, and he didn't mind that. Rather prefer it really. "It's all cool and everything but we have to get back." Vert half suggested half stated.
"Oh come on." Zoom said. "You heard Tyler when he talked to us earlier. They want to befriend us. We can't just leave."
"They'll be other times to hang out Zoom." Agura answered for Vert. "Right now we do need to get back." She looked over to the group on the other side of the room. By now Tyler had joined them and suddenly the larger group erupted in laughter. She slightly shook her head.
"Should I go tell the others that we are leaving?" Tezz asked even though he kept on repeatedly telling himself not to.
"Nah." Vert said. "We'll go over together and we'll say our goodbyes and leave." Wordlessly leading the way Vert walked towards the other group as the others followed.
"So then he said, what do you mean it's not a fake? And I said how can you not smell the shit?" The group laughed again at Tyler small story. His laughter slowly died out with a sigh. "He was so stupid."
Stanford chuckled. "I've had my own share of stupid people." The Brit crossed his arms before his chest and stuck his nose high in the air, self-pride radiating from his composure.
"You are the one to talk Stanford." Tezz's voice ranged.
The larger group looked as the smaller one stopped before them. "Ha ha." Stanford fake-laughed. "Say what you want. I'm getting a Gyro 2 on discount."
"So am I!" AJ yelled.
"Lucky!" Zoom said. He looked over to Camellia. "So… Camellia…"
"Nope. Sorry. Max of two discounted phones per decade."
"Oh come on!"
Camellia giggled. "Sorry. But I can't just give out discounted phones. The company needs whatever money we can get now."
"Which is a really cheap excuse." Spinner said with a grin. "You own half the nation. Metaphorically speaking."
"Whatever Spinner. It's not up to me. I'm getting in trouble for the two phones I don't want to be killed by it."
Sherman nodded. "Don't worry Cam. As much as we would like our own phones, we'll spare you."
"You can bro." Spinner spoke up. "I'm gonna try till I get a Gyro."
Camellia rolled her eyes. Agura too rolled her eyes. "So hey guys, we have to get going now."
"What? Why?" AJ asked, shock and sadness showing in his eyes.
"We have work to do remember?" Agura continued. "Besides, I'm sure Camellia and Tyler still have a lot of work to get finished and we don't want to hold them up."
Tyler scoffed. "Yeah. Back to damn filling and organizing and the damn engine and body construction." Camellia agreed with him with a scoff.
"Still, we don't want to hold you up." Vert remarked.
"Oh that's fine. Completely understandable." Camellia said. "So I guess we'll just see you guys around. Maybe back at the diner?"
"Defiantly so we can eat pizza and burgers" Sherman smiled greatly.
"Again with the food. Man, we eat too much damn food." Zoo stated. The group chuckled and quickly got back to their goodbyes. "Well thanks for showing us around and becoming friends with us. You are friends with us right?"
Tyler and Camellia looked at each other with inquiring gazes. They turned their heads simultaneously and smiled. "Of course." They two spoke.
"Man this week has been great!" Spinner said. After a few more minutes of goodbyes and Camellia handing them her number, the BF5 started to make their way to the elevator that would lead them back up.
Tezz stayed behind for a while to receive her number. The giddiness came back but he pushed that down. She muttered something along the lines of 'Here you go' and she handed him back his phone. "Thank you." He muttered back.
"No problem."
"So the engine over there, I take it that it's the engine you have problems with?"
"Oh yeah. It'll be the death of me I'm sure. I'll get it eventually though. Just wait and see."
Tezz nodded slowly and thought about what else to say. Without a second thought words tumbled out of his mouth. "I hope that I am there to see you figure it out."
She had a facial expression that screamed shock and confusion but it soon was replaced with a small smiled that practically warmed Tezz (stupidly as he would think). "Thanks Tezz. I'll tell you what? I'll call ya when I'm just about to test it, when I think it's ready of course."
"Of course." The two stood and smiled softly towards each other.
"Hey Tezz! You coming or do you want to live here now?" AJ's voice called to him. Looking towards the elevator the guys were holding the doors open.
Camellia turned to face Tezz. "Well… Bye."
"Goodbye." He turned and started walking away before he suddenly stopped. "And Camellia?"
"Yes?"
He turned his head to look back at her. "You do have a cool accent too." With that he started walking away again and in moments they were all gone.
Camellia sighed softly and Tyler went to stand by her side. "Well… That went well don't you agree?" Tyler shot a sly grin towards her.
The girl groaned and stomped over to her walk in closet by her makeshift bed. "Just get changed and get back to work." She disappeared into the closet and closed the door behind her.
"Well… What did I say?" Tyler shrugged and decided to do as she commanded and get ready for work.
Red Sentient Planet/No POV
"The last mission was a failure." Krytus paced angrily before the RS5. It had taken a longer time for them to regenerate and be well enough to be walking about. "We could have gotten that amulet and be rulers by now. Or at least, I would be ruler." He earned some complaints about that. His anger tipped over slightly. "Silence!" He bellowed and silence immediately followed. "We cannot afford to lose to Battle Force 5 again. I want the Multiverse and I will not get it until we win more missions."
Kyrosys glared absently at his leader. "Since you want to be ruler so badly why don't you destroy the humans yourself?"
Kyburi rolled her eyes and thought about the others' stupidity. Like on cue Krytus exploded on Kyrosys, yelling out a sting of colorful curses in their native tongue. Just when Krytus was about to strike Kyrosys for his arrogance their leader just stopped. Frozen in thought. Kyburi became worried but she didn't let it show. "What's wrong Krytus? Lost your will to command us? Giving the job to Kyrosys now?"
"Silence Kyburi." He growled at her. His arm slinked to his side and an evil grin swept across his face. "What if I did get rid of the humans myself?"
"But you can't." Krylox said silently as if he was trying to explain to himself what he was saying. "Even with the five of us we can't beat them. How can you just defeat them?"
Kryten growled softly. "He's right, much as I hate to agree with him."
"Simple." Krytus turned his back on them and walked out before them. "The humans always work together to defeat us and even with our cooperation they still win over us." Kyburi blinked and was about to say something along the lines of 'it proves how much stronger the humans actually are from us' but Krytus continued. "If we were able to separate them and we all take them down one by one, then there's no chance that they will survive." The group remained silent. How where they supposed to separate them? They are more concerned for each other than they were. The question hung in the air but no one dared speak it aloud. Krytus turned once more. "Kyburi."
"Yes?" She asked, surprised that he singled her out.
"You are an expert hunter and thus have been closely monitoring our enemies' movements." It wasn't stated as a question but she defiantly heard it.
"Yes."
"You will train us."
Her shock was overwhelming, even the others' shock was being observed into her. "What?" She realized she was speaking in one-word sentences which was rare for her. It's rare for me to feel such shock. She added.
"You will train us and the next time we meet Battle Force 5, it will certainty have an impact on them." He chuckled at first to himself and then it grew to a laugh with a noticeable streak of evil. Kyburi silently accepted the task but thought that they would still fail and she would be in deep trouble.
