Battle Zone/No POV

The Battle Zone stretched out before the Battle Force 5. It was like a jungle, not like the Vandals home world, not as thick or as dangerous-looking, but it was filled with towering, wide-trucked, trees. Dirt paths cut through the trees randomly. In the distance a small mountain chain poked out from the trees. The BF5 currently sat upon a sole mountain which seemed exiled from the distant chain. Sherman noticed that the top part was a younger rock because of the coloration but he didn't say anything because Stanford radioed in, since this time he was sitting at the Hub while Tezz took his spot, and commented on the Battle Zone, or from what he could see from the computers. "Looks like that forsaken Vandal planet. It's a good thing I'm sitting out. Just looking at it here gets me peaked."

Vert sighed. "We better get moving. The Red Sentients are probably not happy from the last win so keep an extra eye out. You know how they get when they're mad." The Battle Force 5 moved and made it down the mountain quickly.

"We should check to see if there was any Blue Sentient activity in the past on this Battle Zone." Sherman suggested.

"I had already begun a history search." Sage's voice ranged out. "So far there is no sign of any Sentient activity, Red or Blue."

"So the chance of a really rare or dangerous artifact on the Zone is really slim." Zoom concluded.

Tezz calculated in his head. "Yes, it is indeed slim but there is still a possibility."

"And that possibility is…?"

The Russian ran the numbers through again to make sure they were correct. "Approximately 4.83% chance."

Zoom scoffed softly. "Slim chance of anything."

"It was the exact same percentage the last Battle Zone had before the discovery of the Abolition Instruction."

Agura sighed. "As I hate to admit it, Tezz is right."

"Again." Tezz smartly put in before she continued.

"There is still a possibility."

"As I said before," Vert said, "keep an eye out. Who knows what the Reds have in store for this Zone or for us."

"Or both." Spinner added.

Battle Zone, RS5/No POV

The Red Sentients waited for the predictable appearance of the BF5. They stayed hidden behind a huge stone wall that showed the only signs of any life that had once occupied the Zone. Kyburi stood off to the side of the wall, being the one on lookout even though Kryten who is the scout. Krytus came up to her silently and as she turned she almost ran into him. She groaned in agitation at him. "What is it?" She asked rather clipped. She had become bone tired from training the incompetent fools she calls her teammates. The only one who really had taken anything in was Krytus but then he is the leader and he was the one who had planned the thing in the first place.

Krytus knew of her agitation. He had seen it in her as she trained him and the others. He too was agitated. It was the training. Not so much the actual training itself it was the fact that she was leading it and not him. He had to admit that she did a great job in provided information about their enemy but it was the lack of control that he had over the training sessions. He could have just taken over at any point, kicked Kyburi off from being trainer, and did the thing himself but what would that have accomplished? "Are they arriving?"

"Of course they are. I'm just here on lookout looking for them when they're here." She snapped at him, sarcasm heavy in her voice. He should have yelled at her for using that tone but he did know it was a stupid question to ask. "Why isn't Kryten here doing his job?" She jerked her head towards the scout who waited with the others behind them.

The Red Sentient leader had no idea how to answer that. Why wasn't he there doing his job? He was starting to get sloppy. He needed a break. What was it the humans say? A vacation. That was it. "I don't know." He openly admitted. She was taken back. Had he just admitted to not knowing something? He read the shock and repeated it a bit more angrily, "I don't know."

She blinked and couldn't help the smile that crept onto her lips. "Well then, why don't you take command and tell Kryten to get here and do his job? I'm tired of standing here watching the rare wind pass through the vegetation."

One corner of Kryten's lips tilted up slightly. He always had a close relationship with Kyburi. They had been friends since youth and she was the first he ever asked to join him in his fight for control over the Multiverse. He had once joked to himself (yes he does actually joke around some time) that if—when he does take control that she would make a formidable queen that no one would dare challenge; that no one would dare challenge the hot tempered queen. Stuck with that thought he reverted back to a bit f his old self, before any thought of control had ever seeded in his mind. "Is that what you want most Kyburi?"

Her eyes softened at the statement, something that didn't go past Krytus. "Yes but I will just continue watch. If anything the humans should be here within moments." Krytus suddenly felt an underlining pain of guilt. She never wanted a war despite her temper. Despite what others may think of her, they will never know her as he does. He was about to speak when she turned suddenly and looked out. "Just as I said, here they come."He looked past her and heard what she heard seconds before, the sounds of the BF5's vehicles rumbling towards them. He turned towards the others and immediately started firing out orders. Kyburi fully hid herself behind the wall but stayed close to the corner, keeping that hunting pose, ready for anything. The RS5 formed into their vehicles except for Kyburi who continued to keep an eye out, ready to cue the others into their ambush.

Battle Zone BF5/No POV

The vehicles stopped before the sole stone wall that towered above them but stopped because of its destroyed top. "If that's not a sign of past civilization I don't know what is." Spinner commented as he looked up the wall.

"Sage, any info on it?" Vert called in.

AJ's voice came on. "Hm… Not quite. There was in fact life on this Battle Zone. Some seven foot aliens that are similar to humans and Sentients though like the Vandals as well. I don't know how to actually tell you what this civilization was like."

Tezz sighed. "Obviously intelligent."

Agura groaned and Zoom rolled his eyes. "Well obviously." They two said simultaneously.

"Focus guys. The Reds could be anywhere." Sherman advised.

Vert nodded, more to himself than anything. "Sherman's right. Keep a vigilant look out." With a silent command the BF5 went off and searched the grounds. "AJ, do you have anything on the scanners?"

This time Stanford answered. "Nope. Nothing's being picked up. Not even you guys, well, occasionally. It goes in and out."

Tezz drove the Splitwire up to the stone. He opened the door to the vehicle and got out to take a closer look at the wall. "Hey Tezz, are you wanting a death wish or something?" Spinner called to him.

"Yeah Tezz." Zoom agreed. "What gives?"

Tezz scanned the rock and analyzed it. A small smile of accomplishment crept up on his lips. "Just as I thought. The rock used to make this wall is creating its own EMP field in which anything in it will be hidden from any scanners but since it is partially destroyed it fluctuates."

"That explains why the Hub can't pick us up some of the time."

He looked at his scanners again, which were starting to bug out itself. "And that applies to our scanners too."

"Figures." Vert said.

Tezz lowered his arm and looked at the patterns in the stone. It was carved with intricate swirls and circles, almost like something the Celtic back on Earth would create. He walked the length of the wall stopping just before the edge. He was in awe of the rock, mainly because of its electromagnetic affinity and of its beauty. What he wouldn't give to talk to one of the aliens who had carved this rock. Suddenly he heard a noise and he stiffened. He looked towards the sound which was from right behind the wall. Insistently he started to back up towards the Splitwire. There was another noise, a bit louder than the last and then an all too familiar sound. Alarmed he ran and jumped into the Splitwire and as the door closed her spoke only one word. "Company."

Camellia's Garage/Tyler (AN: Cliffhanger momentarily! Lol, don't you hate me?)

I stretched, using the chair to help stretch my back, while I released a loud yawn. I looked over to Camellia who was busy with the welding gun. She had given up on the engine a good while ago and was instead working on the body for the Enforcer. "How's it coming?" I yelled over the teeth-grinding noise.

She stopped and looked back at me. "Better than the engine. This is so much easier."

"What if the completed engine doesn't fit in the motorcycle?" I knew I shouldn't have asked that question but my curiosity got the better of me.

"I'm not working on that part. Not until I got that engine finished."

"Ah, that's smart." After a moment I asked, "So that's the front you're working on?"

"Yep. I got the cockpit just about finished according to the size on the blueprints, it's just up to the other engineers to get the actually panel to fit into it."

"Don't have much trust in your employees don't ya?"

She gave a half shrug. "Would you?"

"After the faulty line thing? No."

Without another word she went back to work and I stared at the computer screen. I was done with my work (shockingly), what else can I do. I smiled and stood. "I'm done with work and I'm going to call Amy. If anything find me in the lobby." She waved me off and I made my way to the elevator, speed dialing my girlfriend while I walked.

Battle Zone/No POV

The ambush caught the Battle Force 5 on surprise. Suddenly a battle erupted before the wall in this field of EMP waves. The fight was really confined to this small area where the EMP waves restricted anything from growing. Once in a while a vehicle, whether it was a good guy or bad guy vehicle, got out but then got right back in. It was intense in that small area. Krytus fired off one of his blades from the Syfurious and he continued to recall it back and fire it at Zoom. Kyrosys went after the Buster as it shot its flame wheels towards it. Krylox, Kyburi and Kryten challenged Vert, Agura and Tezz at once. Krylox's vehicle split apart and made the field uneven. Because of the ambush the RS5 were actually having an advantaged over the still shocked and surprised human warriors. Vert had just about enough of getting their butts handed to them when Sage's hologram appeared before him. "We have picked up strange activity from the mountain chain."

"And by strange activity you mean…?" Vert asked, suddenly not wanting to know.

Instead Sherman answered. "Volcanic activity."

Vert groaned at the information and at the inapt he had just gotten from one Krylox's halves. "How come we couldn't pick that up before?"

"I say because of the EMP waves." Tezz answered for Sherman. "Even though the main EMP spot is here, I have reason to believe that either there are spots where the stone is formed or broken pieces of the wall scattered around to render us almost incapable."

Vert half groaned half sighed at this new information. "So what about the volcanic activity."

"Just three words…" Sherman said ominously.

"It's gonna blow!" His brother yelled in anxiety.

The ground below them began to rumble which caused the battle to go to a standstill. "What is this?" Kryten growled as he had trouble keeping his vehicle balanced on the trembling ground.

"Hey Krytus!" Zoom yelled. He immediately got the attention of the RS5 leader. "Last one out is a rotten egg!" As if on cue the Battle Force 5 retreated towards their Storm Shock.

Krytus glared after them and ignored what Zoom had said. "Come back here cowards." Kyburi pulled up next to him and then suddenly a volcano from the chain behind them erupted. Kryten glared at the volcano that had ruined their victory over the Battle Force 5.

Krylox had pulled both halves together and pointed towards the volcano. "That's why they ran." He remarked quite stupidly.

Suddenly the RS5 took after their enemies and rushed towards their own Storm Shock that would lead them home. Meanwhile the BF5 neared the sole mountain their Storm Shock sat on. Sherman picked up an increase in volcanic activity and looked back. Another mountain from the chain erupted followed by another. "Crap." He said softly. "Guys, all these mountains are volcanoes." He said.

"Wait, all of them bro?" Spinner asked.

"All of them."

The vehicles got onto the mountain and Vert had a bad feeling in his stomach. "So that means…" The same mountain soon started to rumble itself. "Crap." Vert said. "Floor it guys!" The vehicles rushed even faster towards the top where the Storm Shock is.

Agura shook her head at all the danger of this Battle Zone. "If Stanford were here, he'd say that this Battle Zone is a god forsaken planet like the Vandal home world."

The RS5 were nearing their Storm Shock just as the last volcano in the chain erupted. Kyburi watched as the lava from the distant volcanoes actually started to rush at them. "Hurry!" She growled out in warning. The vehicles rushed towards the portal and as the lava barely overcame them they slipped into the Storm Shock and left the Zone.

BF5 reached the top and quickly rushed towards the Storm Shock. The mountain rumbled some and the bottom erupted from one of the volcano's lava channels. The channels started to break as the lava rose higher and higher. The mini eruptions worked as their hourglass, counting down the moment the whole volcano would blow. The sense of urgency was strong as the vehicles started to jump through the Storm Shock. Suddenly the volcano erupted from the top, completely missing channels on the way. Agura's back tires slipped back into the reopened mouth of the volcano. "Damn." She muttered as she pushed the Tangler forward. The vehicle groaned but could not fully pull itself up. Spinner, Sherman and Tezz stopped when they noticed that Agura had stopped.

"Agura!" Spinner called out as the Tangler continued to push forward with no avail. The two vehicles backed up and shot their cabled to the vehicles axels. Once it was secure the two cars started to move forward. The eruption had luckily blown out the other way meaning the lava shot out towards the jungle except towards Agura and the others. The volcano rumbled again though as the lava from the other volcanoes reached the base of this one. The vehicles pushed harder and harder until suddenly the back two tires were freed and the three vehicles zoomed to the Storm Shock. Back on Earth the three vehicles braked suddenly and all three of them lurched forward. Agura groaned out and exhaled.

"Are you alright?" Vert asked.

"Fine." She simply answered. "Thanks to those three."

"No problem." Spinner grinned.

"Let's get back to the Hub. Agura looks like she needs something to drink." Zoom suggested. BF5 started to move forward in agreement.

"To drink?" Agura exhaled again. "I need freaking therapy. My life had flashed before my eyes."

Once back at the Hub Stanford helped Agura out of the Tangler since she was still pretty shaken up. "You sure you're alright?" He asked her, concern evident on his face.

"I'm fine. Just shaken up."AJ brought a glass of water to her and she drank it greedily. "Thanks." She said handing AJ back the glass.

"No prob." He smiled softly at her.

Agura sighed and realized that Stanford still was holding onto her, one arm wrapped almost protectively around her waist. She looked down at his hand on her waist before she looked up at him. "Stanford?"

"Yeah, what is it?" He asked quickly, worry lining his voice.

"You can let go now." He gave her a confused face for a moment before looking down at his arm and immediately releasing, a small blush rising. He muttered his apologizes. "That's alright." She said before she turned away, a blush also rising on her face.

The others grinned at this. With one look at each other they silently agreed to not say anything about it, yet. AJ clapped his hands together and grinned. "So, who's hungry?"

Zeke's/No POV

The BF5 walked in and immediately took their seats at their booth and table that is always moved to accommodate all of them. They sat and Zoom continued his conversation with Stanford. "I'm telling you, I'll ask Grace out before you or Vert does."

"How many times do I have to tell ya mate? I'm over Grace." Stanford smiled at Zoom. He wasn't about to tell him that he and Grace did go out on a date but it ended horribly. Let's just say he is surprised the girl talks to him.

"Well, I still mean it." The conversation disappeared as said waitress appeared. She took their drink orders, something she already had memorized though she always asked just in case, and took their order which again she knew but still…

She walked off and Stanford elbowed Zoom. "I thought you were going to ask her out."

Zoom flushed and shook his head quickly to get rid of it. It didn't work. "The timing wasn't right."

Vert joined in and smiled slyly. "Better do it quick buddy. I'm been thinking about asking her out soon."

"Then why tell him?" Tezz questioned. He knew better to join in o this conversation but what the hell?

"Good sportsmanship." Vert grinned.

AJ laughed and gave his buddy a high five. "Nice bud."

A scoff suddenly came out and the group turned their heads to see Camellia and Tyler standing at the end of their table. How long were they standing there? Was the collective question that rammed through their minds. Tezz mentally cursed. Everywhere. She was fucking everywhere. She wore a light pink, long sleeved cardigan, polyester top that was ruffled at the opening. She wore a grey tank underneath with dark blue wash skinny jeans and a pair of four inch wedge, mid-length brown boots with a rope looking decorative probably sewn to the boot. Meanwhile Tyler wore his typical decal print t-shirt (today it's a Talent Tech shirt) with jeans but he wore boots too. "I see that you treat women as a sport you two. Let me just say, no woman likes to be treated like a sport, even the ones who say so." She placed her hands on her hips for emphasis.

"You tell them." Agura agreed.

Camellia smiled at her and then towards the others. "Mind if we join you?"

"Why not?" Spinner said before anyone else could say anything.

"It would be an honor." Sherman said as he smiled.

"Oh please." Camellia rolled her eyes playfully while she and Tyler sat down. "Don't treat me like that. We're friends. Not some celebrity eating with random people."

Tyler raised his eyebrows once and grinned. "Well. You are a celeb pretty much and they are regular." Camellia slapped him and he exclaimed out in pain. "That actually hurt."

Camellia rolled her eyes and Grace came back to take their drink orders before she went back to get the others' their drinks. She returned and gave them their drinks. Zoom waved at her. "How are ya Grace?"

"Doing good Zoom. How about you?" Grace smiled at him.

"I'm doing great, how about you?"

Vert cleared his throat and Grace looked over to him. "Hey Grace."

"Hi..." She turned and walked away.

Zoom chuckled once. "Ha. She liked me more."

Camellia smiled at the two. "Like the same girl?" They nodded. "Yeah… I hate it when that happens."

Tyler chuckled. "Of course you get the guy anyways, like always." She slapped him again. "What? What am I doing?"

"So really guys, how are you? You all look shaken up for some reason. And just tired."

"Hard day at work." Tezz immediately answered. He was at least telling the truth.

"Oh. Where do you guys work at? Same job?"

"Yeah." Stanford answered. "The garage that Vert owns." Which is again a truth. The garage above ground did actually fix cars and stuff when people break down out here in the middle of nowhere.

"That's cool." Tyler and Camellia's drinks arrived.

"I forgot to ask what you guys were going to eat." Grace said almost embarrassingly. She cast a quickly glance towards Zoom and back at the two.

"That's ok." Tyler answered. "We'll have what they're having." Grace nodded and walked away.

Camellia smiled at Zoom. "Against my way of thinking, let me just say, Zoom, you win." The boy looked confused and Cam decided to remain silent. He'll get it eventually.
