Training Course/No POV

The BF5 speed noisily on their private and concealed training course, trying out their vehicles and improving fighting skills with and without them. While Agura and Zoom trained with each other on their hand-to-hand fighting skills the others tried out their vehicles mechanics, tried their aim and other useful tests and such. Vert positioned the Saber to a ramp so that two of the wheels would be slipping off the side. The Saber's speed increased and it hit the high slope of the ramp at a good 70-80 miles per hour. The Saber flipped in the air and the blades came out, popping the balloons that were placed there and held to the ground by tires. The Saber landed on its four tires and Vert braked getting a screech of complain from the vehicle. Vert smiled and opened up the Saber. He receives claps from the others and he waved a hand up, raking in the applause. Then he became serious and looked at his team. "Who wants to go next?"

"We'll go." Sherman said as he and his brother got into the Buster.

Vert nodded and looked at Tezz. "Change the course Tezz."

"I was getting on to that." He replied as the ramps and targets slipped down and got replaced by pillars and larger targets.

Spinner cracked his fingers and neck. "Let's do this bro." The Buster moved forward and targeted a target. The spinning turret was launched out at it and the Buster circled the target while the turret continuously hit it. Soon the target was destroyed and they targeted a pillar. Using the turret again it wrapped around the midsection and the Buster moved away from it. The Tank stopped at the chains pulled taunt. The pillar started to crack under the pressure and while this was happening Spinner targeted the other targets and filled projectiles towards them which destroyed them. Finally the pillar broke and while the Buster Tank was rushing forward they deliberately rammed into another pillar and it quickly broke and as the rubble fell the Buster reversed and took care of the last pillar with ease. Once finished the two brothers parked where the others were at and got out, also receiving claps. The brother smiled as they looked onto the destroyed course.

"Awesome destruction bro." Sherman said.

"Yeah, I'd say!" Spinner agreed.

"Next." Vert called out.

Stanford was up next and the Reverb was set against a multitude of moving targets, both on ground and in the air, all of which he was able to hit with ease. "Score one for me." He said as he high fived his friends.

Tezz followed and had a similar course like Stanford's. Using the EMP waves the Splitwire he was able to pick up random objects and launch it at the targets and he used his turret to fire off some of the targets as well. "Too easy." He stated as he went back to his spot of course changer.

AJ was last and his Gear Slammer was tested by seeing how it could fare on different types of treacherous terrain and having to use the drill to get through some gates made out of different materials. "Oh that was good and extreme!" He yelled out as he finished.

"Good job guys." Vert said. "Now someone get Agura and Zoom so they can have their practice in, then we can work on some of the vehicle combinations if anyone wants some more practice."

"So, it's our turn?" Zoom asked as they approached the others.

"Yep." AJ said. "Time to test out your skills and show us what you got on the training course." He grinned. "So, who's going first?"

"Well, what about let Zoom go first?" Agura suggested. "Go on Zoom."

"Cool." Zoom jumped onto the Chopper (after it received its Sentient Chip) and the course changed to one similar to Vert's with ramps and targets to hit. The Chopper's engine roared and soon he was off onto the course. He immediately went for a ramp where the Chopper extended out and started to fly around the course. With that he moved the Chopper to do some aerial attacks to the ground targets and of course the ones in the air. Sooner or later the limited flight that the Chopper could have gotten out ended and the Chopper landed on the ground and head for its last remaining target. Zoom personally took care of this one by kicking it out of the ground when he drove by. Like the others he too received applause while he joined up with them. "Now it's Agura's turn."

At the cue Agura went up into the Tangler (it all ready had its Chip in because Sherman, Spinner and AJ shared theirs) and watched as the course changed once again. This time it was similar with AJ's but with obstacles and robotic enemies so that the Tangler can practice its 'fighting skills'. The Tangler moved forward and started its course; going over the obstacles, easily overcoming the tough terrain and not to mention winning the fights over the robotic enemies. Soon she was finished and received claps as well. She got out and went up to Vert. "So, what's next?"

"Combination training. Anyone want some more practice with the vehicles?"

"Yeah!"

"Yes!"

"Totally."

"Let us test out the Shock Blade some more." Tezz suggested as he leaned coolly on the control panel. Vert looked at him. "It is hardly used and thus should deserve some test time. Then maybe the Rig Saw to see if we cannot push the limits of the vehicle. Then we can test whatever the others see fit."

Vert smiled. "I like that idea. Anyone object." After receiving no complaints Vert went and retrieved the Binary Fusion Pod. "Then let's go then." Vert and Tezz got into their vehicles and soon the testing for the combination vehicles commenced.

Behind Talent Technology/No POV

The cans were lined up on different size boxes waiting for their demise. Then a baseball quickly came and knocked one down. Tyler smiled in achievement. "Six for seven. Not bad."

Camellia shook her head. She was sitting on the sidelines watching Tyler randomly hit cans with baseballs. "What is the point of this game?"

"Nothing really." Tyler answered as he placed the bat behind his neck. "Practice aim, pass the time. There's not really a lot of point to it."

"Hm-hmm. Let me try." She stood from her spot and walked over to him.

"Now listen here Cam." Tyler said. "This game is hard. It'll take years to hit just one can if you're not good at hitting baseballs."

"Are you implying something?" She accused. She pulled the bat from his hands, nearly smacking his head in the process.

"No, of course not." He quickly said. "I'm just saying that it took months, nearly a year for me to get this."

"It took you months but it'll take me years to get one can knocked down."

"You never played baseball; I did back in middle school. There's no way you can hit a can on your first time. It's the truth of the matter."

"Eh." She waved him off and picked up a baseball from the bucket next to him. "It's all math. You take distance, arc length, speed, momentum and factor in the wind to get it."

Tyler rolled his eyes. Smart person who actually enjoys math. He thought as he moved back. "Alright. But let me just tell ya, you won't be able to get it even with math."

"Want to bet?"

"Fine. Ten bucks."

"Fine. That's ten dollars for some good breakfast at Zeke's." She positioned herself in Tyler's old spot and looked at the remaining cans that were stacked up. She then started to calculate in her head, being careful to not lose her place in the collection of numbers. Once she finally had it calculated she threw the ball up and smacked it with the baseball. It missed by mere millimeters.

"Ha. Ten bucks for me. Told you that you wouldn't make it."

She raised a finger and then with that same finger pointed at the can she nearly hit. The can was wobbling and when the wind blew the can fell and knocked down the can below it. Tyler's mouth dropped and she went up to her, a smile on her face. "Two for one. Now where's my ten bucks?"

Zeke's/No POV

Tyler grumbled. "I still can't believe I lost the bet." Camellia chuckled. "That was cool, no doubt, but still. And math got you that. Jeez. I probably should have paid attention in math class then."

"Yes, you should have." She chuckled out. "Now I can get some great tasting breakfast for lunch."

"Why do you always do that?"

"What?"

"Eat breakfast for lunch?"

"Because I just have a breakfast urge during the middle of the day and desayuno (1) is my favorite meal."

Tyler shook his head. "One Spanish word in an English sentence. My OCD is off the charts."

She eyes him but decided to humor him. "Porque sólo tengo un deseo desayuno durante la mitad del día y el desayuno es mi comida favorita. Happy now?"

"No. Because I didn't understand a word."

"I just repeated the sentence about breakfast."

"Oh… That what I thought you said." She shook her head at him. "Oh hey look. Vert and the others are here."

She turned her head and saw their vehicles roll up to the diner. She then looked back at Tyler. "Why do you always say 'Vert and the others'?"

"Because it's obvious that Vert's the leader of the group. It's only customary to put the leader first."

"So I guess when they talk about us it's 'Camellia and the other guy'."

"Exactly." Pause. "Wait a moment…" She laughed as the Vert and the others walked in. Tyler shook off the last comment she said and motioned to the others. "Hey guys! What's up?"

"Hey you two." Agura said.

"We always meet up here." Tyler said. "You guys need to stop by Talent Tech again. We can all hang out." Before she could say anything he had a light bulb. "Hey! When the house is finished you can defiantly hang out there."

"Tyler you idiot," Camellia said, "wasn't that the whole point of the house warming party you're going to throw?"

"Oh yeah… That's right."

She groaned and placed her face in her hands. "What's wrong with you today?" She half laughed half sobbed out.

"A house?" Spinner asked.

Stanford pushed himself forward. "And what's this about a party?"

Camellia looked at them. "Well I can't live in Talent Tech forever so I'm building a house nearby and Tyler is going to throw a house warming when the house is all set." And then it'll get destroyed by a party. Such joy.

"Oh that's great." Zoom said. He looked over to the counter and saw Grace walk out. "Excuse me." He immediately went to her.

Camellia watched after the two. Guess he figured it out. Her attention was then brought to her side when the others sat down in the booth next to them. Agura sat the closest to Camellia and inched forward to talk to her. "So when is the house going to be finished?"

Camellia shrugged. "The contractors are coming during the week to set up the foundation and then depending on how fast they work it could be within the month or so. But with this heat I hardly doubt it. Men, and sadly women, can be especially lazy in the hot temperatures."

"Well I hope it gets done quickly, not for the party mind you, but so that you can have a home."

"Yeah. I hope so too."

"How have things been going?" Tezz randomly asked.

Camellia looked over to him. He was sitting on the other edge of the booth, across from Agura. "Oh it's been good. Though there's a lot of work, not to mention my online college classes."

"College classes?" Sherman asked. "You're only 18."

Camellia chuckled as she looked to him. "Something a big fan doesn't know. Shocking." She softly giggled. "I skipped a few grades. Grades five, seven, eight, nine and ten to be precise. I mainly self taught myself and I always talked with the teachers and counselors to take the tests that would put me on to the next grade. I got into college at the age of 15, three years ago, and I'm not going to skip a year or two even though I can. I've been waiting to go to college for a long time and I like it so I'm staying all four years."

"So an 18 year old junior in college." Tezz stated. "Impressive."

She smiled at him. "Glad you think so." There was a moment of silence before Zoom rejoined them.

"So guys, I'm staying over there and I'm going to stick around and eat with Grace. Her break is coming up, so talk to you guys later." Then like that he left again but was soon replaced with Grace as she took the BF5's order and went back to get Camellia and Tyler's food.

"The little twerp is abandoning us." Stanford said dramatically.

AJ chuckled. "Leave the dude alone. He's in love." He batted his eyes romantically. The two burst out into laughter.

Vert sighed. "Oh well. She never gave me a second glance anyways."

"Aw…" Camellia cooed. "Is poor Vert sad? Don't worry honey, you'll find Missus Right. Don't worry." She mocked.

Vert took offense to that but still chuckled. "Shut up." At that moment Grace came up and gave the two their food before going back again.

Camellia giggled and Tyler sighed dramatically. "But you should be sad; you don't have a wonderful girlfriend like I do. Oh Amy…" Camellia giggled at his face of pure love (it was overly, and unconsciously dramatic).

"Yeah…" Sherman drawled out. "Lucky for you. We're still looking for the right girl."

Spinner raised his brows up at Camellia. "So… Cam…"

"No… Spin…" She mocked. The group laughed. She finally took a bite out her breakfast-lunch while Tyler took his first bite out of his sandwich. The rest of the lunch went normally and smoothly and then the group left, saying goodbye to Zoom and Grace collectively as they exited the diner. While the large group said their own goodbyes Tezz lightly pulled Camellia away. "Yes Tezz?" She asked.

"So it is all right to stop by Talent Technology?"

She nodded. "By all means, come whenever. Tyler and I get bored sometimes, actually, most of the times. Just call before you come or tell me ahead of time because sometimes we won't be there. Like tomorrow. Tomorrow I have a photo shoot for a magazine."

Tezz nodded. "So will the day after be all right?"

"Oh yeah. Should be good."

"Good."

She smiled at him. "Well… See you then Tezz."

"Until then." He watched as she turned and walked towards Tyler. They then got into the HSE and started to drive off. Tezz suddenly felt oddly jealous of Tyler. He shook it off and got to his car and followed the others as they all went back to the Hub.
