Chapter 13: Party! Part 1. (AKA House Tour).

To Tiburon: I'm actually Hispanic and I know Spanish and English. With the Irish I went onto Google Translate. I cheated. c(; Though I do have an Irish friend that speaks Irish and I could ask her but it's just easier to cheat.

Day of party/Tyler

"This is going to be so awesome Cam!" I jumped up from the table after I finished my breakfast. I went over and put my bowl in the sink and turned quickly to look back at Camellia. "Though the downside is that Amy won't be there." She sighed and I grinned. She so hates the idea of this party. I wonder why she's letting me have it in the first place. So, I asked her. "If you hate this party so much, why let me throw one?"

She stood; she had just finished her toast, and threw a used napkin in the trash. "Let's face the facts, there's nothing to do out here and we both need a break."

"I hear that." I chuckle. "Does that also mean we'll have more parties?"

"If this house survives the first one, maybe."

"Yes!" I hiss out. I then realized how much Cam is mothering me. 'Don't do this, don't do that, maybe, no, what do you think you are doing?' I suddenly miss my parents. They haven't called in two weeks. Of course they're on their cruise in Europe and the long range calls from there are ridiculous but that doesn't mean anything. I'm their only son for Christ's sake. And my sister, my sister's already out of college and onto her job as an engineer for NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida. She defiantly won't be coming home anytime soon. "So, want to help me put up the decorations?"

"No."

"What? Why?"

"Your party, you take care of it. If this house gets so much as a small hole in the wall you are paying for it out of your checkbook do I make myself clear?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Good. Now I'm going to go re-draw out the plans for the Enforcer." Like that she left, her heeled boots clicking against the floors of the house until it hit the carpeted stairwell. I half sigh half groan. I had really hoped she would help me.

The Hub/No POV

"Party tonight mates!" Stanford screeched. "I am so ready for it! I've got my tunes, my awesome head gear," that being his headphones he wears to look all DJ-y, "and all I've got to do is pick a shirt." He picked up two similar looking shirts. "Which one?"

"Uh… They look the same Stanford." Vert said with a small smile on his face.

"Oh no, really?" Stanford asked sarcastically. "I know they look the same, but I don't know in whether to go in the new one or the party one."

Agura couldn't hold back the laugh that was sitting in her throat. Stanford shot her a look. She stood and walked over to him to inspect the shirts closer. Her eyes darted between the two shirts. She then picked the one in his right hand. "The party one. Looks more refined." She said jokingly.

Sadly, Stanford didn't catch the joke. "Oh why thank you Agura." He then turned and walked away.

Agura shook her head. Zoom then came into the room while he was talking on the phone. "No, yeah of course I'll pick you up. Where do you live?" He smiled and waved at the others before going into the next room.

"Everyone seems so excited for this party." Agura said.

"Who wouldn't be?" Asked AJ. "It's the only really interesting thing that happens out here."

"Besides the alien fighting?" Spinner asked.

"Well of cou—duh!"

Sherman stretched his arms way above them before they fell to his sides in a lazy heap. "So has anyone, besides Tezz, seen the house yet?"

"No." Agura shook her head. "And Tezz didn't say anything about it."

"We'll see it tonight." Vert chimed in.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Spinner said. "Besides, taking in the fact that it's Camellia, the house has got to be awesome."

AJ chuckled. "Yeah. You know what else is awesome?"

"The party we're going to?" Sherman asked.

"No, but good guess." He gave a thumbs up to his friend. "I really don't want to jump the gun on this, but it seems Tezz has got a thing for Camellia."

Agura chuckled. "And she has one back for him."

"Exactly! I'm not the only one who sees it then?"

"What do you mean 'got a thing'?" Spinner asked as he leaned towards AJ.

"That he has a crush on her?"

"Not that?" He waved a hand towards AJ before looking at Agura. "How can you tell?"

"Isn't it obvious? He's never been that kind to anyone. He goes and visits her, he helps her move in furniture, he's even friends with Tyler, and no offense to him but he's just insane."

Spinner blinked in confusion. Vert cleared his throat. "Not to mention the two have a lot in common, surprisingly. They both are into engineering and creating new technology. Not only that but they're both really smart."

"Don't tell Tezz you said that." Sherman chuckled. "If he heard you called him smart, he'll never live it down."

"Another thing." Agura said as she raised a finger in the air. "He never acts stuck up aro—"At that moment Tezz walked into the Hub. Blueprints in hand as he walked over to the tool table. The whole room fell silent. Even Sage who was quietly working stopped to watch Tezz. The tools rumbled in the desk as he searched for specific tools. Then just as quickly as he came in he left. "Around her." Agura finished.

"And they are both workaholics." Sherman added.

Spinner shook his head. "I don't see it."

Vert chuckled. "Maybe because you like Camellia?"

Spinner raised his hands. "No I don't like like her that way. Just as a really good friend in which we share a lot in common."

The others blinked and shook their head. Sage finally spoke up as the silence endured. "While you are out enjoying the party I will stay here and continue to scan the Multiverse in case Krytus, or any Vandal for that matter, decides to come up."

"Thanks Sage." Vert said.

"Hopefully though there won't be any interruptions." AJ said.

"Hopefully, but probably." Agura said.

Party later that day (3pm)/Tyler

"Party's started!"

"Dude…" Camellia sighed. "They're not even here yet."

I looked around the kitchen stupidly. "But it's three, which is when the party's supposed to start, so ergo, party's started." I reasoned.

She shrugged. "Whatever Tyler." She stood and walked out of the kitchen/dining room.

"So I guess we're gonna give them another tour?"

"I guess." She called from the hall.

"Start from the exercise room and work around the first floor before going up?"

"I guess." She repeated.

"Hey." I stood from the barstool and walked out into the hallway. She leaned on the wall analyzing the hologram of the Enforcer engine. "Really? You're really going to work? Now?" At that moment the door bell rung and I went down the hall and through the foyer to the front (oak) door. I opened the door and smiled. "Hey party people."

"Hey Tyler." Vert said as I moved aside and welcomed them in.

"Hey Ty." AJ called.

"What's up?" The Cortez brothers said.

"Dude, we're ready to party!" Zoom yelled with his arm wrapped around the shoulders of Grace. I shook my head. Such young couples…

Then came Agura and Stanford. She nodded and said 'Hi' while Stanford carried his CDs and records. "I just need to know, I have a place to play my tunes right?"

"Yes Stan." I chuckled. "Cam took that personal liberty. In fact that's the only thing she did for the party, everything else, all me."

Stanford laughed and walked further into the house. Zeke came in carrying the pizza. "Someone call for pizza?" The older man asked.

I smiled at him. "Yeah and thanks Zeke man for bringing the food and not charging for it."

"Perfect bribe, food for a party." Zeke smiled his missing-tooth smile and I mentally wondered if inviting him was such a good idea.

"Yeah…" I said slowly. I then pointed down the hall. "The kitchen is in the last room to the left, just put the food on there. Zeke nodded and made his way to the kitchen while Tezz walked in. "Hey Tezz." I said as I closed the door. "Nice to see you again man."

"Tyler." He said.

"Well, we're gonna give a tour of the house first. You can see the finished product of your help."

"All right." I moved away from the door towards the others who gaped at the crystal chandelier that hung above their heads. The foyer gave a great entrance. A mirror hung on the wall immediately to the left when you walk through the door, a stand below it with a small vase with flowers, another stand across on the other wall with a twin vase and flowers. Hand woven round rug below our feet and a nice light cream wall that bounced off the light from the chandelier. "Welcome to Casa de la Talent y Sham." I said in half-Spanish. "So first off before we party, we're gonna give a tour. Hey Cam! Get your butt over here and out of your phone!"

Her heals clicked on the tiled floor while she (and Zeke) walked over to us. "I was getting Zeke." She countered. He moved off in front of her and she smiled and waved to the others. I laugh mentally. She so doesn't want to be here. She then took the reins and took care of the tour. "This is the foyer and in this hallway here we've got a guest bedroom, a bath, a sitting room and an exercise room. She walked to the hall to the right of the front door. We all followed her as she showed them the room. The guest room (being Amy's room when she comes over) was to the left, the sitting room with an archway across from that, meant to be the place (business) visitors would sit and wait 'cause god knows Camellia and her parents (when they too come to visit) will be too damn busy. The then room next to the sitting room is my exercise room, Camellia uses it too but I use it more than she does. Then across from that is the bathroom for the guest room containing one bath and shower combo, a toilet and a sink. The hallway was a dead end and we turned around and crossed the foyer to the hallway to the left of the front door. We walked into the family room with a nice 55 inch TV screen and stereo system. A chimney sat on the far wall on the side of the house. A brick fireplace that ties in with the earthy tone of the light brown-ish walls. The sofas were a cream colored and really comfortable (I love just resting on those things). We continued on to the hall that came off the family room and was medium sized utility closet and half bath across from it (only a toilet in sink hence half bath). Then we walked into the kitchen and dining room, or at least the side entrance. The kitchen was to the back corner of the house with barstools towards the main entrance that lead to the main hall (that is connected to the foyer) with a dining table that sits six off to the corner. We walked quickly towards the hall and Camellia showed them the door to the library/offices room. "We have this room security locked." She said.

"And the windows are barred." I added.

"Let me guess," Vert said as he crossed his arms, "the room holding all the Talent Tech stuff?"

Camellia nodded. "Yeah. We have to bring work home sometimes."

"Most of the times." I added.

"I can't really show you this room, my parents disallowed it, but it's very high-tech." She pointed to a pair of sliding glass doors. "Out there's the patio and the pool, we'll get out there later. Right now we're going upstairs." We went halfway down the hall to the stairs and climbed them upwards (the stairs sat in the middle of the hall, something Camellia and I hate, and open towards the foyer). Once upstairs she showed them entertainment room which is to the immediate right and showed the door to her parent's master bedroom (their bathroom was the coolest with a bath/Jacuzzi, separate shower/steamer, an enclosed toilet and a pair of 'his/hers' sinks), again off limits. We walked towards the front of the house and showed off my room (I had that honor), the separate bathroom for me that was to the immediate right of my door (when walking out of my room) which has a shower, toilet and sink and then finally Cam's room which was across the hall and next to the entertainment room, again another master bedroom but smaller than her parent's with a defiantly less impressive bathroom, just the regular shower, toilet and sink. We slinked back downstairs and to the patio with the pool. Finally we were done with the tour and the party officially commenced. Cam showed Stanford the area she set for him and he started to get ready. I went back towards the kitchen and brought the pizzas out to the table in the patio. The patio was huge. A big pool sat in the center (but more towards the right side of the patio), the jumping boards (one low one high) at the deep end (the left side) and a slide midway of the pool facing the double doors. Then the swim-up bar to the right (it's awesome and I can't even drink yet!). Then the table and outdoor chairs were on the left side of the patio. Once again the crystal table sits six people and there's four outdoor lounge chairs with two small round tables between them. The others started to talk amongst themselves, about the house, the party. Some started already undressing to their swimming suits (AJ and Spinner, of course). I lost sight of Camellia but if I had to guess, inside working. I was about to go and get her when the music interrupted me. Cascada's Evacuate the Dance Floor started and the party kicked off. As I was momentarily distracted I noticed Camellia actually in the patio with her phone away! I smiled to myself. I knew she wanted a party all along.
