Party! Part 2; may it commence.

Party, 6pm/Camellia

Once I got over the "boo, party, bad thing" phase I quickly got into the swing of things. It had been so long since I had partied and I figured that all I needed was a good dose of crazy—but not too much that the house would crumble. Stanford was surprisingly great as a DJ, not that I ever doubted him. He did his thing up there on the stand, being a typical club-like DJ, spinning the best songs, taking requests, and being funny, at least his funny. Everyone was having fun, and not being as crazy as I thought. It actually looked picturesque, with the sun setting in the distance and the temperature dropping ever so slowly. I was enjoying dancing and singing with the music and with the others (though I refused to go into the pool). Then AJ had to do something stupid.

"Watch this guys!" He yelled from inside the house, the glass doors wide open. He ran through and then cannonball-ed into the water, hitting the opposite edge of the pool followed by slipping into the water. I winced and ran over. Vert and Sherman were beside me as we tried to reach AJ. Sherman jumped in and dove to pull AJ out. He pulled the passed out AJ onto the concrete floor and Vert started to push on his chest. I was actually ready to do CPR when AJ snapped out of it, coughing out the water and rubbing his head. "Ow… That hurt."

I rolled my eyes. "Idiot. You scarred us all. And I was about to do CPR on you."AJ opened his mouth to say something but then closed it and fell back and pretended to be passed out. I giggled at his idiotic ways and went in to give him CPR but it was replaced with a slap to the cheek. He sat up quickly and looked at me as I stood. I shook my head at him and went inside the house, closing the doors behind me. I went into the kitchen with one half box filled with cold pizza while my trashcan was filled with empty boxes, drink cups and liters of sodas. I decided to clean up a bit, at least the cold pizza. I found a container and started packing up the pizza and putting it in the refrigerator and throwing away the now empty box. Sometime between all this Tezz entered the room and sat down at one of the bar stools. I turned and saw him sitting there and almost freaked out. How long was he sitting there? This proves my single mindedness when working; I didn't even notice him! "Oh hey Tezz. Didn't notice you there."

"I could tell." He answered back.

My leg twitched nervously. "How are you enjoying the party?"

"I don't really party."

"Yeah… I don't usually but its fun to indulge." After he didn't reply I decided to continue. "I was going to actually work on the engine. I decided to give Tyler an hour or two at the party before leaving." My brow furrowed and I placed my hands on my hips. "In fact I haven't seen you around. Where were you for the past three hours?"

He shrugged and stood. He walked around the bar and towards me, stopping just feet away. "I was enjoying the quiet of the sitting room."

I chuckled and shook my head. "That's great Tezz." I walked around him and around the bar towards the open archway. "I'm gonna go work now. Adios." I waved a hand and crossed the hall to the offices. I heard his footfalls as he followed my path until eventually he stood behind me.

"Maybe I can offer some assistance."

I smirked and turned to him, halfway between keying in the password to unlock the doors. "You just want an excuse to come in and see the library-offices."

He in turn smirked back. "Now Camellia, can't you just accept the fact that I want to help you reach your deadline?"

I squinted my eyes at him. "No. But seeing as I can't possibly let down an opportunity of help, I'll let you in." I turned again and finished keying in the password and shoving my thumb into the pad and allowing the eye scanner to do its job. After all that the pad was starting to clean itself while the click of the locks went off. I pushed down on the handles and pulled open the double doors dramatically. I stepped in followed by Tezz and once we entered I heard Tezz breathe in deeply at the sight.

Out in the hall/No POV

Tyler chuckled to himself when Tezz stepped in. "Damn Cam." He took a moment and reveled in the rhyme. "You are defiantly trying to play hard to get, but it's just not happening!" Tyler was joined by Agura and Stanford, who had decided to take a break and have a chance to party (he had reset a playlist and had it playing while he was away).

"I knew it." Agura said. "I knew Tezz had something for her."

"The guy's got it I've got to admit." Stanford commented. "Attracting a girl such Camellia Talent, whoa."

"I know right?" Tyler gushed. He mentally pictured Amy and Camellia being all girly and talking about boys (yes, even when Tyler is there with them) and Fashion Week. He quickly pushed that thought away and focused on the task at hand, Tezz and Camellia. "Come on." Tyler whispered as he motioned two fingers down the hall. The three sneaked by the wall and came to the doors of the library-office. Agura and Stanford crossed quickly and went to the other side of the doors. They looked inside and saw the room.

It was a library, with books and such, but that was only one wall on the far left. The rest of the walls had TV's and filing cabinets pushed up against the walls. There were four desks within the room, one for each parent, Camellia and Tyler. Then there was another table, a long one that would be used (eventually) for meetings. That's where Tezz and Camellia were at. She pulled out her phone and connected with the hologram projector in the middle of the table and brought up the plans for the engine. Once that was done she reached over and grabbed two WiFi pens from the console. She hands one over to Tezz. "So what do you think?"

"Very nice." In reality it was very nice. It was just like the Hub though of course the Hub was more advanced and filled with alien vehicles and was the central point for the Battle Force 5 in which they go out and fight alien enemies within the Multiverse. But other than that it was identical. Tezz diverted his attention to the hologram. "The engine I presume."

"Yes." Camellia replied with scorn. "I can't figure out what's wrong with it. At first I thought it was the main capacitor but that wasn't it. So I decided to look back on the problems the HSE had and started to compare…"

As Camellia babbled on, Tyler, Agura and Stanford watched the interaction between the two. They only had their heads showing, Tyler not having to worry about space but Agura was bent at the knees allowing Stanford to watch from above her, his hands gently holding onto her shoulders. "This is so spying." Tyler said softly.

Stanford chuckled. "Yeah." He whispered. "But this is almost entertaining."

Agura shook her head. "Quiet guys. I can't hear." The boys looked at the supposedly 'more mature' of the three and smiled as they too looked back at the two.

".. I pinpointed the problems here." She used the pen to zoom in and break apart the engine to show a series of valves and tubes and wires. "The HSE had the same problem but it was easier to fix because it was bigger."

"I see." Tezz merely said. He used his pen and rotated the hologram.

A phone then rang interrupting his thinking. He looked over to the sound, a ground line phone on one of the desks. "Ugh… Excuse me." She walked over to the phone and looked at the caller ID. She sighed as she picked up the phone. "Mom. Hi." Camellia leaned on the desk and started to coil the line around her fingers. Camellia chuckled weakly. "Yeah, you know me. Camellia, the always hard-working daughter." Camellia signaled Tezz to continue and he turned his attention back onto the hologram, but not fully. "So what's up?" Camellia casually glanced at the doorway. The three spies moved quickly and hit the wall with their backs and they held their breaths. Agura of course didn't hit the wall at first. She ran straight into Stanford who grunted at the collision and then he hit the wall with his hands on her waist. She groaned and rolled off him and placed her back on the wall with a quiet sigh while his hand still rested on her waist. Camellia squinted at the doorway. "Yeah. I'm working on it." She replied to her mother. She continued to watch the door while her mother talked. "Well the deadline is an issue because I can't figure out what wrong…" Her mother interrupted her in a rant. "I know we need to finish it, don't push me." Camellia turned her head and walked around the desk and sat in the chair while the computer woke up. She placed the phone between her shoulder and head as she typed furiously on the keyboard. "I'm opening it up now, keep your pants on." Camellia tapped her fingers into the desk while the file was loading. Once it was open Camellia read it off to her mother. "HSE status update, dalalalala… Um… everything came back okay. The main problem was the seatbelt, kept on jamming." Rant, rant, rant. "I'm pretty sure they're fixing it." Rant. "Well they're not working on it now. It's like 6:30 over here on a Sunday." Camellia rolled her eyes. "A jammed seatbelt is easy to fix. I'll do it personally if they haven't done it yet, which it's probably done since this test happened like two days ago." Rant. "I'm on it mother." She said quickly. "I'll send you a copy to your email and you can see for yourself." Her mother groaned and Camellia could picture her mother rubbing her eyebrows together. "It's ready to go into mass production other than that." Tezz turned at that and looked at Camellia. "It'll take a while. Especially getting pre-ordered ones done first." Camellia hummed to herself while her mother thought it over. "Yep. The prototype's a dream and the factory floor is ready. Though, mother, we should have made it bigger." Camellia smiled. "Yes." She said rather excitedly. "Alright. That's fine with me. I won't go overboard I promise. Bye mother." She stood and hung up the phone at the same time and walked over to Tezz.

"What was that about?" Tezz inquired.

"Mother was freaking out that she hasn't gotten a report from me for the Enforcer and the HSE is all. But I got her permission to reassemble, as I should say, TTM and recreate everything in the way I want it."

Tezz nodded at her. "That's good. And the HSE is ready for mass production."

"Just about." Camellia looked over at the door. "Excuse me another moment." She walked towards the doors.

Tyler cursed. "She's coming this way!" He whispered. "Scatter!" Tyler jogged quietly outside while Stanford and Agura contemplated where to go.

"This way!" Stanford suggested and he pointed down the hall. Agura didn't question him while the ran quietly down the hall then up the stairs. They then ran into the entertainment room and fell into the chairs (or should I say one chair?). Meanwhile down the stairs Camellia looked up and down the hall and shrugged. She must have seen a shadow earlier. She then closed one door and left the other partially closed. Stanford started to laugh. "Man, I've never had a scarier time in my life."

Agura shook her head. "Not even fighting the Red Sentients and being trapped on the Vandal home world?"

The Brit scoffed. "Oh no. Those are just difficult times."

That where Agura laughed. Then that's where she realized that she is sitting on Stanford's lap, his arms wrapped around her lower torso. She struggled out of his arms and stood, nearly tripping over her feet while she was at it. She cleared her throat. "We best better go down stairs. We'll be missed." She started to walk out of the entertainment room and Stanford blinked.

"We won't be missed. There's a god damned party down there."

Back at the library Tezz had run simulation after simulation with Camellia, trying to pinpoint what was wrong with the engine. Tezz finally saw what it could be. "Camellia." He called to her. She was back at her desk writing things to do for tomorrow and sending the email to her mom. She stood and walked over to Tezz quickly.

"Did you figure it out?"

He nodded. "The problem in that tube."

"What?" She asked unbelievingly. All of her problems couldn't be just because of a tube.

"It is. It's not the rotator or the pistons. When the air comes through this valve and into the tube, it doesn't create enough PSI when it goes through the other valve and thus can't activate the switcher as well. If you were to increase the circumference more air would go in and it would be forced to be quickly thinned out to go into that valve."

Camellia watched as Tezz increased the circumference and go into another simulation. It worked. "Well I'll be damned. It was a fucking tube."

Tezz smiled softly. "You just needed my superior brain to help you." He was expecting a battle, a man vs. woman battle from Camellia but he did not expect what happened next.

The girl flung her arms around his neck and brought him into a tight hug, her face buried into the side of his neck. He could feel her smile on his skin and every time she breathed it caused goose bumps on his neck. He was shocked at the sudden movement that he had forgot to breathe. "Oh thank you! You cannot believe how happy I am! I can meet the deadline!" She screamed happily into his neck. She detached herself from his neck and looked at the engine. "Holy crap! And we have that width of tube!" She did a twirl of happiness followed by a hop. "I can't believe it!" She looked at Tezz, an ear-to-ear smile on her face. "You are amazing!" Tezz, still shocked from the hug, only nodded. She then calmed down with a big breath out. "I've got to get these new blueprints printed out. Better yet I'll send it to my computer's desktop in the garage." She pulled out her phone and the hologram went down and the new plans were transmitted to her computer via her phone. She placed the pen she had back on the console and Tezz mimicked her, his shock now dispersed. She put her phone away and went to her computer and put it to sleep. She then came back to Tezz. "You really are amazing." She repeated.

"Well what did you expect from me?" He smartly put in.

She smiled and quickly gave him another hug. "Thank you." She said before she broke the hug off. "Come on. Let's enjoy the rest of the party." She started her way towards the door and he followed. Once they were out she closed the door and pressed the lock button on the keypad and the lock clicked once more and the two walked towards the patio where the spies already were there 'acting normal'.

Red Sentient Planet, 2 hours later Earth time/No POV

"But Krytus, it's late. Do we have to go out now?" Companied Kyrosys.

"That's the reason we must go out now." Krytus snapped back. "The humans will not be expecting a late attack and even if they are they would be tired."

"Did you ever think we would be tired too?" Kyburi challenged.

Their leader scoffed. "Don't think you can be smart Kyburi. I know that the moment a fight will be starting you, as well as the others, will be wide awake."

Kyburi watched as Krytus walked away from them. Late night attacks aren't usually something he does for this reason; a tired team. "What if the same happens in humans?" Krylox asked. "Their adrenaline could wake them up."

Kryten growled. "Those humans are so weak that even their adrenaline won't help them."

"I see Kryten is with me." Krytus said. "Now who else is with me?" The question was meant to be in the context of 'Now who is against me?' and Kyburi could see that. She sighed softly and summoned her vehicle out. That followed a chain within the team, ending with Krytus. "Good. Now let's move!" He went out of their base first and the others followed.

The Hub/No POV

Sage sighed for the thousandth time in a row. She was so bored. Not many people (not many beings now her but whatever) know that she is capable of being bored. But yes, bored beyond tears. She sighed again. Sometimes she wishes she was human, able to go out and enjoy the Earth lifestyle without causing too many looks or too much trouble. Currently she floated in a near laying down position while the computer scanned the Multiverse over and over. She had taken a break from her search of the shells since a long time ago Vert had asked her to relocate them or at least find the Battle Zone that held them. So far, no success. She had wondered why he had asked her to locate them but she does what he says. He's the one who goes out and all, he might have an idea, or a hint or clue or maybe it's something as simple as a check up on Quardian and the shells. She didn't know. And quite frankly, for now at least, she didn't care. Suddenly the computer picked up some movement and Sage looked at the screen. It looks like more Red Sentient trouble. She silently wondered what happened to the Vandals. They haven't popped up in a long while. Pushing that thought out she signaled for the others.

Party, 8:46pm/No POV

While dancing/listening to Bruno Mars' The Lazy Song the BF5's watches went off. They all cursed, some aloud some mentally. Vert found Camellia who was sitting with Tezz and the table. "We need to go now Cam. Sorry for leaving early."

"It's fine with me." She looked at Tezz who stood. I guess…

"It's not fine with me!" Tyler screamed. "Most of the party is leaving! So far only Grace, Zeke, you and I will be left!"

"Tyler don't be an ass. They look like they're in a hurry." She stood and looked at the group as they stood before her. "We'll see you guys later. Maybe at Zeke's for more breakfast for lunch."

"Defiantly." Spinner and AJ said. They were soaked because they were still in the pool when everyone else had gotten out.

Zoom quickly hugged Grace. "Goodbye you guys."

"Bye Camellia. See you around."

"Bye."

"See ya."

Quickly the Battle Force 5 left the patio and rushed down the hallway. Camellia had sighed and when she turned she nearly ran into Tezz. "Tezz!" She looked up at him. "Aren't you supposed to be going?"

Tezz stood silently. Trying to word what he was thinking into a sentence. "I wanted to make sure… That we weren't leaving because we want to, or that we—"

"I know. I can feel it. It's…" She paused, searching for the word. "Urgent."

"You can say that." The watch beeped loudly again, this time with Sage's voice.

"Red Sentient activity in the Canyon Battle Zone."

"I have to go." Tezz rushed passed her leaving the four remaining people alone.

After a moment of silence (since Stanford had turned off his station but had left it there in lue of the moment) Tyler scoffed loudly. "Damn. Now what are we going to do?"

"Well, we can watch a movie and break in the entertainment room." Camellia offered.

"Cool!" Tyler quickly recovered. "I say we watch a comedy!"

"Oh no Tyler." Camellia quickly stopped him. "Your party, you clean up."

"What? I'll do it later."

"No. Cause then you'll never do it. Stay and clean then later you can come up." Camellia ushered the others into the house.

Zeke spoke up about a movie idea. "What about an alien movie?"

"Oh I can do that." Grace agreed.

"I have the movie Alien, we can watch that." Camellia said.

"Cool." Grace said. They left Tyler in the patio and he looked around and realized it wasn't really messed up. If he hurries he could catch the beginning of the movie. So that he did.

The Hub/No POV

Battle Force 5 stepped onto their platforms and had their Shocksuits formed onto them. Vert quickly went into command mode. "It's the Canyon Battle Zone so I think we should swap the Buster with the GearSlammer." The team quickly got back into their vehicles after the swap and they zoomed off. Tezz shook his head. He could have stayed behind. The look Camellia had given him when he stood. He felt bad. He held back a sigh and got to his station.

And the feelings increase between Tezz and Camellia and not to mention the little spark between Stanford and Agura and Zoom and Grace (though not a lot was seen in this chapter). Next chapter the battle that interrupted the party. Please review.
