A/N: Sorry it took so long to update. I've been sick and I had midterms, which consisted of group projects and... nvm.
But I'm on break and i should be able to update more frequently.
Tabitha walked into her and her sister's small house.
Fabrics and spell books were thrown across their wooden table, while Teala's staff was nestled off to corner.
"Teala!" Tabitha called out.
"Back so soon?" Her sister responded while walking out of her bedroom to greet her.
Tabitha took a seat as she watched her sister close the book she was reading and placing it on the table, before smiling broadly at her.
"I have bad news." Tabitha said
Teala made a 'tsk' before lightly leaning on the table, "I don't like bad news." she said.
Tabitha fidgeted uncomfortably, "That's why I came to you."
Teala scrunched up her face before pushing her raven black hair over her shoulders and stared at Tabitha expectantly.
"Llacheu and the King had a falling out, Llacheu can't fully forgive him." Tabitha said.
Teala crossed her arms before nodding, "That is bad news. I have just the thing." she said before hefting herself off the table and walking to her room.
Tabitha began thinking about the prophecy and her 'destiny'.
What if she didn't succeed?
Her mistress wasn't very violent but had a way of making people wish she were.
What if they died before time? What if she couldn't get Esmeralda and Cordelia to Avalon in time?
What if they couldn't stop Llacheu from shaking hands with the one who will ultimately be the death of him?
"Snap out of it. If you think about something to much then it'll die." Teala said walking from her room with a small bottle in hand.
Tabitha jumped in surprise before glaring at her sister, "No it won't." she said.
Teala stared at Tabitha a while before sighing, Tabitha has been with her too long not to know she was aggravated, but didn't want to say anything.
She then held up the potion before sitting it on the table, "I have to add some things to it, but it she should be ready before your duties tomorrow."
Tabitha narrowed her eyes, "What is it?"
"Ueniam et obliuionem," Teala answered.
"Forgive and forget?" Tabitha asked
"More like forget. Just make sure you give it to them while its still hot. Now go back to your duties, it'll be ready before you leave tomorrow." Teala said.
Tabitha nodded before walking back to the castle.
To say Sir George and the knights were shocked to see the king strolling toward the practice field with his chainmail on and a sword by his side was
was an understatement.
They only see him on the field when Percival returns from Gawant, or Leon returns from one of his many missions.
"Sire," Sir George greeted while bowing.
"Me and your best knight will spar, show me how good you've trained them." Was all Arthur said while he shrugged on his gloves and unsheathed his sword.
Sir George and his knights gulped.
Merlin stood outside of Gwen's day chambers, debating whether he should enter or not.
There was a lot he had to tell her, but Arthur had to be there too.
But right now Merlin assumed, he was blowing some steam by humiliating some young knight, in the name of Camelot's 'future protection', or slashing up a training dummy.
He usually does that when he's upset.
Merlin raised a fist to knock on the door and immediately put it back down. And he did that for the next three minutes, ignoring the guards who gave him strange looks.
When Merlin was about to give up and leave the door opened to reveal the queen, "Merlin! I thought I heard you out here, how was your trip?" She asked her friend.
Merlin turned red before rubbing the back of his head, "It could have been better" he admitted, thinking of the pending death of her son and the potential fall of her daughter.
"Come in, you must tell me about it." She said smiling brightly at him.
That made his heart clench more, her and Arthur were his best friends.
He couldn't bear to tell them what he found out about their children.
Gwen sat and listened as Merlin talked about his mother and step father along with, Percival and Elena. He decided to leave out Hengist and Luther, for now.
As he was talking, he noticed Gwen's eyes darken at the mention on how everyone's marriage was running beautifully.
"What' wrong Gwen? Is something wrong between you and Arthur?" he asked in concern.
Gwen gave a tight smile before shaking her head, "It's nothing." She promised.
"Gwen." Merlin said sternly.
She bit her lip before sighing, "I think Arthur is having an affair." she finally said.
Merlin tried to keep a straight face but failed terribly, "Arthur?" He snickered.
Gwen glared at him while trying not smile, "Yes Arthur, it's not funny Merlin." she said.
"I'm sorry but it seems so...odd. I mean this is the same Arthur who fell in the lake last summer to try to impress you, even though you've been married over fifteen years."
Gwen scrunched up her nose before sighing, "You're right, I'm just paranoid." She said.
Merlin grabbed her hands and looked her in the eyes, "You needn't be. You are one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Arthur would never betray your trust, I promise."
Gwen gave a sheepish smile before nodding, "Thank you, Merlin. That means more to me than I can say."
Merlin nodded before standing up to leave, "I must go, I have duties I must attend to." he said.
"Rest Merlin, you've just returned." She said quietly.
Merlin nodded before leaving.
Esmeralda sat in front of her vanity as Tabitha brushed her hair so she could prepare for bed.
She couldn't help but think of Llacheu and Thomas. She wanted to see how they were doing after their assumed fall out.
Merlin warned her to stay away for a while, from her brothers and her father.
Thomas liked to be by himself while he was upset, but Llacheu on the other hand was a hell hound.
So there was really no use in bothering people who don't want to be bothered.
She just hated when they were upset.
"Tell me about your sister." Esmeralda said, trying to take her mind of her brothers.
Tabitha hesitated for a moment before she continued to brush Gwennie's hair.
"She is the only family I have and I love her deeply, sometimes I want to be just like her."
"Why?" Gwendolyn asked.
"Because she is beautiful, powerful, yet calm and fair. She always know what to do." Tabitha explained.
Gwendolyn noticed how weary Tabitha got so she dismissed the topic, "That is all Tabitha, you may go home, thank you."
"Princess" Tabitha said before bowing then leaving.
Gwendolyn stared after her for a moment before blowing out her candle and going to bed.
The next morning, Tabitha was slipping on her shoes when Teala came out with a hot potion in her hand.
"Be sure to put a drop on each of their plates, even Merlin's" She said.
Tabitha wordlessly took the bottle before getting up and leaving.
She slipped the bottle in her pocket and when she walked into the castle the first place she went was the kitchen.
Cook was putting pieces of fruit on a plate before giving a shriek of surprise when she saw Tabitha, "You silly girl!" she shouted.
Tabitha rolled her eyes, she didn't feel like it this morning, "Oblitus," she said, eyes flashing a bright green.
Cook nodded slowly to herself, before walking away.
Tabitha grabbed the bottle from her pocket before putting a drop on the six plates set out for the royal family and Merlin.
She then capped the bottle before putting it back in her pocket. She then picked up Gwennie's plate before walking to her room then smirking to herself. The prophecy was back in play
A/N: This is the last chapter contributing to the plot until it's Llacheu's 18th b-day and i don't want to time jump, but their will be details to lead up to the big prophecy. So send me prompts for the kids, or Merlin, or Arwen, or all of them. I'll write all of them, i promise.
