Headquarters/No POV
Camellia sat there before the monitors, looking onto this strange new world, seeing familiar vehicles, one in particular, surrounded by Red Sentients. This typically smart young woman usually didn't have the hardest time completing the puzzle and seeing all the signs, the clues, the weirdness, and piecing it together to make sense, but this puzzle shook her up. How was it that her only friends (besides Tyler of course) out here in the middle of nowhere were alien crime fighters? What was the probability of that? Before this all came into her mental capacity she truly didn't even believe that aliens existed. Her family lived on cold hard facts, proof on paper, and all the nonsense. She couldn't quite believe it that the man she loved was one of these alien crime fighters.
She wasn't angry that they didn't trust her enough to tell her this; hell she probably wouldn't even trust herself if she were in their situation instead of her current position on the matter. No. What she was angry about was (not even at the fact that she couldn't fully grasp onto all the information an alien, Sage was her name told her just moments before) the idea that these other evil aliens were about to kill her friends and Tezz. She was livid. "And there's nothing they, or we, can do to help them?"
"I am afraid not." Sage sighed out. "We've used up all of our good luck and now we find ourselves to be finished by the hands of my brother."
"Then if your brother has the upper hand, then why not attack now? Get it over with? He's delaying his own victory." Camellia asked, obviously not looking forward for her friends' demise but just trying to understand.
"I have no idea. We may be twins, but my brother and I are two completely different beings."
AJ scoffed and looked angrily at the screen. "If only there was some way to bring them a secret weapon or something."
"But we already exceeded the number of materials, wither they be weapons or vehicles, through the portal. There's no way—"Sherman began before being cut off by Camellia.
"Has this thing ever been updated?"
"Updated?" Spinner asked, astounded. "This is advanced alien technology Cam! It doesn't need to be—"
"Yes it does. No matter how advanced the system is upgrades are always a necessity to keep up with the demand for better and faster technology." Camellia said quickly, her mind reeling. "Do you mind if I break into this?" Camellia asked, pointing to the main station.
Sage shook her head. "Not at all."
Camellia began her wonders the moment the words were out of Sage's mouth. She worked quickly for time was not on their sides and worked on trying to get through the backdoors of advanced alien technology, easier said than done (she was thankful that the system was put into English for the humans' use). She had a moment of nostalgia as she thought about the movie Tron where Kevin Flynn got into the system and went through all the back corridors of technology to find the proof saying that he had invented Tron and not what's-his-face. She glanced at the monitors to check on the situation of her friends. The bad guys were closing in, about to seal the deal off. Camellia began to panic but quickly pushed that emotion aside for it wouldn't do anyone any good at all.
Finally after putting her hacking skills to the absolute test, Camellia activated an update system that stated that it was several years behind on the grade of the system. And like always, you must update the older upgrades first before the newer ones. This would slow them down. "Shit!" Camellia cursed as she pressed the 'Update All' button she had created whist going through the backdoor. She turned quickly, calculating quickly in her head while Sage and the three Battle Force 5 members stared at her with a renewed respect for her intellect. "You said that you turned regular vehicles like that?" She pointed to the monitors, her heart pounding in her ears.
"Yea." AJ confirmed. "My own Zamboni—"
"Very nice story I'm sure, but I'm currently panicking so turn my HSE into one of those."
Spinner shook his head as his mind was blown. "Turning a super cool car into an even cooler super cool car? Damn… I think I'm blown away just by the thought."
Sherman nodded as he activated the system that transformed the cars. "Just pull it up to the platform and stand on it; you'll get your own suit too."
Camellia wasted no time, not even bothering to close the door on her HSE as she moved it from point 'A' to point 'B'. She closed the door as she got on and the moment she stood firmly on the platform Sherman pressed the start button and the car and Camellia were being transformed.
The HSE became sleeker and with far smoother lines, coming out almost like a long, rounded bullet, the four wheels were covered with plating and there were four windows; the front being large, wide and long (stopping halfway through the roof), the sides being narrow and long and the back was smaller than the front yet just as wide. The front had four long lights that promised to be very bright as well as a squared area in the front that looked like to have weapons located in it. The back had two tail lights that also looked like they could have weapons and the color was a metallic hot pink with red fire coming out on the sides and hood of the car. Needless to say that because of the car's original unique status, the transformed version would also be unique to the others. Camellia of course matched her car, her suit just as hot pink (except a bit toned down). As if she knew the drill to give the car a name she shouted out "¡Infierno del Corazón!" In Spanish.
"Say what?" The boys said at once.
Camellia sighed and repeated the phrase in English. "Inferno of the Heart."
"We'll just call it the Inferno for short." Spinner said as he rubbed the back of his head, a huge grin on his face.
Sage looked at the main station and noticed that the upgrades were just about finished. Once they were Sage looked through the newly updated systems and was surprised to see that now she could send out another full sized vehicle, maybe even two, through the portals and onto other planets. "Camellia, you did it! We can send reinforcements now!"
The newly increased Battle Force 5 cheered. Camellia took the lead then and got into the Inferno. "Well come on boys. Let's go save our friends!" Sherman and Spinner nodded and entered their own Buster Tank and lead the way for Camellia with AJ screaming behind them. "Go kick some ass you three!"
Sage smiled and shook her head. They might have a chance after all.
Sorry for the short chapter. I just have so many fictions that I'm working at once that my brain is all over the place with these stories so for right now, short and sweet, lots of cliffhangers, and besides, I'm nearing the end of this really soon so I decided, what's two or more chapters? Anyways, here's my story projection:
Next chapter: The fight/confrontation scene & maybe the return back to Earth depending on how long I drag out the battle & the end.
Following chapter: The epilogue.
