Chapter 13: New to Old and Old to New

Location: Gravity Falls, Oregon:

Several hours passed since Gwen has been captured, and she only got a little over an hour of sleep when she jolted awake due to the shocks that sent through her system. The pain seemed unbearable to happen, and they lasted for over a minute. As the shocks kept growing stronger, she tried to pry off the device from her neck, but it wasn't budging, even using all of her strength. The shocks deceived from her, as she fell on the floor, tears daring to fall over the bridges of her eyes. She heard a distinct voice announce something towards the Mystery Shack, which sounded a lot like Gideon Gleeful. He was informing that it was time to fall asleep and no one is suppose to leave there spots for any reason, or they would all pay recompense for their transgressions. She had no idea what any of those words meant. Gwen saw all of the lights turn off as she stared out the window, down at the captured residents from the town. Everything seemed to be pitched black. The city lights in the town feared to turn on in case any other resident was still living their life in the town, away from Gideon. The only light shown were the full moon and the stars twinkling in the sky. She was really hoping that Dipper and Mabel would soon make an appearance and try to break everyone free from the clutches of Bill and Gideon.

Her thoughts got interrupted when she heard a voice calling her name in a little whisper. She tensed up, thinking that it was either Bill or Gideon getting her out of the dungeon for something utterly worse to happen to her. As Gwen looked behind her and saw no one there, she let out a sigh of relief; but then got confused. If no one was in the dungeon with her, then who was calling her name? She heard the voice again, this time, a little louder this time to. She looked out her window and saw a man standing at the bottom of the dungeon. Due to the moonlight, she could obviously tell that it was not Gideon and the figure was not even triangle shaped. Her anxiety lowered, but was still in a little pain due to the shocks she received. She replied back, trying not to show pain in her voice. When the person replied, asking if she was okay, she immediately perked up, knowing that this person speaking to her was her uncle. She replied, but in a whisper so Gideon and Bill wouldn't hear her.

Gwen: I'm okay Uncle Henry. Just sore from the shocks I received from this stupid shock collar. How are you doing?

Henry: I've been better. It looks like everyone from town is captured. How are the twins?

She figured that her uncle would ask about the twins. She didn't want to tell him that she was going to come here in the first place with the twins to break everyone free, since her job was to protect them. However, she wasn't in California to do so, and she had the distinct feeling that Dipper and Mabel were in Gravity Falls, planning on an attack plan. She kept this secret to herself, and for the first time in her life, she lied to her Uncle.

Gwen: I think they're doing alright. I bet they miss all of us. Heck, they could be planning on breaking everyone free right at this moment.

Henry: Anything is better than nothing. Anyway, my buddies and I have a plan to break you free from Gideon, and possibly, break you out of this mess so you don't have to deal with him. Listen carefully, I overheard that Gideon is going to take you back into the living room and he's gonna do something to you. So what I want you to do is wait a few minutes, while we all get in multiple positions by the Mystery Shack. Right before Gideon does anything to you, anything at all; scream "NOW" and we'll all burst through and take down Gideon and that triangle guy.

Gwen: It's worth a shot.

Henry: I know it is. Alright, pretend you're daydreaming, and we'll see you soon; hopefully.

Gwen: Okay Uncle Henry. Good luck.

Henry: Thanks I need that.

Henry went back to his spot, "sleeping" under the stars, while Gwen looked out the cell window of her caged room. She was really hoping that this plan would work because what her uncle said was true; "Anything is better than nothing". She heard footsteps approach her caged room and she heard the cell door open; the two "rulers" standing at the entrance way. Awkward silence filled the air, until Bill used his powers to pull her out of her caged room. She dared not to utter one word as they left the dungeon and back to the living room of the Mystery Shack, just like Uncle Henry said he would. Bill then restrained her to a kitchen chair so she wouldn't make a run for it. She didn't even dare to break free of the restrains because she knew that she could get shocked again. Gideon moved Gwen's hair out of her eyes so she could see them sparkling in the moonlight shining through the window. The eight year old physic tried to reason with her again, seeing if she changed her mind about becoming his queen for all eternity.

Gideon: Now I know you don't want that stingy collar still on your neck, so I'm going to offer you a deal.

As he spoke, Gwen noticed Henry and the other agents from the TPP pass by the window, and getting in position to break in and tackle Gideon to the ground. She didn't look to long so Gideon wouldn't question what she was looking at.

Gideon: If you agree to become my queen for all eternity, since that's how long I will be ruling this town, I will remove the shock collar from your neck and give you as much power as you want to the town by my side, forever.

Gwen: Forever?

Gideon: Yes. When can you give me an answer?

She remembered the key word her Uncle told her to say so that the agents could put their attack plan into action. Since this was a perfect opportunity to say her answer, she decided to stay quiet for a few seconds, before answering to the "king" of Gravity Falls.

Gwen: I can give you an answer…NOW!

Right at that moment, the agents burst through the doors, windows, and even the ceiling from the Mystery Shack. Gideon was pinned to the ground by three agents, unable to reach his remote to shock the men. However, he was able to see an agent rip apart Gwen's restrains and the remaining men burst out the front door with his "queen".

Gwen, Henry, William, and Nate all ran out of the shack, and towards the fence, getting ready to use their devices to break apart the fence and escape this awful place. However, they were unable to because shocks were sent to every shock collar that were placed on every resident on the property of the Mystery Shack. These shocks lasted for two minutes, with everyone screeching in pain, and trying to pry off the terrible device. The shocks decreased and Bill Cipher appeared in front of all four of them, who were now lying on the ground, in pain. He laughed menacingly at the residents, and especially Gwen. Bill used his force and froze all four of them and turned them around so they all saw Gideon with the controller in his hand. She scowled at Gideon, demanding to let them go and to just turn himself in to the police since he will always be a bad person, but Gideon had other plans. He removed Gwen's shock collar from her neck, but only hers. With a single press of a button, Gideon shocked the remaining captured townsfolk of Gravity Falls to the most dangerous and most deadliest level of all. She watched as everyone from town cringed and cried in agony, demanding to shut it off. Bill and Gideon found it humorous as Gwen just stood there, shell shocked at tears forming on the bridges of her eyes. She lunged at Gideon, but Bill stopped her with his force.

Gideon: Face it Gwen…no one can stop me.

As the shocks still continued, Bill levitated her off the ground and back to the dungeon where she tried to beat the snot out of the dream demon.

Gwen: Why do you have to do this? Gideon is a kid! A stupid, idiotic kid who's butt should be placed in the prison. Why are you obeying him! Just release us all.

Bill: It's not that simple Gwen. Gideon hired me to do a job, and he still has to pay me back with something I've been working on. I let him do his own thing so he has total control over this town. I would tell him to stop it, but pain is hilarious. So, why stop now when the fun has yet to begin? Enjoy the show while it lasts, because it's just about over. Later sucker!

With Bill gone for now, Gwen raced up towards the window of her cell and saw Gideon finally releasing the button that controlled the shock collars and everyone captured practically crying in pain and screaming in agony. She cringed at the scene unfolding in front of her and tears shown falling down her face like a river. Gwen didn't know what to do; since she knew right off the bat that neither Gideon nor Bill would help anyone, she decided to call out to anyone who may be lingering in the woods; possibly Dipper and Mabel if they were even here by the town. She screamed as loud as she could, hoping someone lingering in the forest, would hear her cries for help.

Barely sleeping while holding on to his sister's hands, Dipper Pines jolted awake due to hearing something in the distance which sounded like a cry for help. Listening carefully again to the cry for help, he immediately thought that it was Gwen screaming for someone. He tensed up, thinking that she was in danger, and that either Bill or Gideon was doing something utterly horrible to her. He needed to get to her, no matter what the cost. He had to make sure that she was okay, and break her free, just like breaking everyone else free. Dipper knew that Gwen would do the same for him and his twin if they were in her situation. He quickly shook his sister awake, screaming in the process. Dipper covered her mouth as she adjusted her eyes so she was face to face with Dipper. Sighing, he removed his hand from her mouth and helped her to her feet. Groggily, she asked him why they were awake so early.

Dipper: I heard a cry for help. I think its Gwen.

Mabel: Then we must be close to the Mystery Shack! How long ago did you hear it?

Dipper: About a minute ago. I think we should try to get as close as we can towards the shack as possible without getting caught.

Mabel: Good idea. Worse comes to worse, I'll use my grappling hook on the guards.

Her brother smiled, and holding onto one another's hands, made their way towards the Mystery Shack to put an end to this stupid game Gideon started.

So this concludes Chapter 13!

I hope it was worth a read. Sorry Dipper and Mabel's part was very short, I promise I'll make it longer in the next chapter.

Believe it or not, we are coming up to the end of this fanfic.

Hard to believe its been about 4 months since I published it.

Chapter 14 will be up hopefully in the upcoming weeks.

I will be busy but I will find the time!
