Chapter 15: Goodbye Gideon
Location: Mystery Shack
As soon as Dipper Pines landed safely on the blanket after jumping ten feet from the window of the dungeon, he quickly thanked the residents, and sprinted over to his twin sister, who was now less frantic. Her face was stained in tears, and her hands clenched into fists, due to the abdominal pain in her leg shooting throughout her whole body. Three residents who still had shock collars around their necks were actually trained doctors, and decided to help the little scared girl. When Dipper made it to her, he kneeled down by her side, as she took his hand. Dipper's heart was beating a mile a minute, hoping that her broken leg was the only thing wrong with her. He squeezed her hand, indicating that everything was going to be alright. She squeezed back, a little weaker. Dipper looked around the condemned property of his summer home; the agents from the Twin Protection Program were still pinning Gideon to the ground, while the remaining residents have ran out of the dungeon with Gwen following behind. He was relieved that she was in one piece, but he could obviously tell that she was banged up a little; not as banged up as Mabel was.
The trained doctors informed Dipper that her leg was seriously in need of immediate medical attention, since she fell very high up, and landed a funny way. They also told him that due to her fall, there was a slight chance that she could fall into a coma, but they were unsure. Since Gideon never took away any of the townsfolk cell phones, one of the trained doctors dialed the emergency contact and asked for ambulance and police. They just hoped that not all of the policemen, and paramedics were taken under Gideon's control for the past several days. Dipper's heart had sunk tremendously, feeling horrible for the condition his sister was in. He could tell that she was frightened, wondering what the hospital would do to her if she ever escaped. He sat down next to her, and put his arm around her shoulder, giving her a side hug, and telling her that everything would be fine and that there's nothing to worry about. He felt her trembling, and he just hoped that what he said was true.
Meanwhile, the agents still had the eight year old pinned to the ground as Gwen approached him, with a disgusted look plastered on her face. She hated this kid ever since the twins told her about him. She had a perfect opportunity to kick him, punch him, and do anything else that she could think of for trapping the citizens, putting them to work, and trapping her in a dungeon, trying to make her become his queen. Instead, she did something that she knew would piss of this little creeper for a long time. She noticed that the remote that controlled the shock collars was no longer in his hand; however it was about two inches away from his grasp. She took her foot, and dragged it away from his hand so he couldn't grab it again and hurt the innocent citizens. Gwen heard his protests, but uttered no response back to him. She knelt down and picked it up, examining the device. She saw that it was set to the dangerous setting, and turned it down to the least hurtful setting. She noticed a green button labeled "release" and she successfully pressed it. Unlocked noises could be heard as the shock collars were deactivated. Gwen watched as each citizen removed their collar and threw it, far away from their bodies. They rubbed their necks, happy that they were now no longer underneath Gideon's control. Gwen heard as Gideon wailed out, demanding that they obey him and to not throw the collars. She rolled her eyes, and gently put down the remote, and then picked up a nearby rock, and hovered over the remote. Gideon screamed, trying to wiggle his way out of the agent's hold while demanding her not to destroy the remote. Gwen had enough of this twerp and she loosened her grip on the rock until it landed successfully on top of the now destroyed remote. Gideon watched as his remote was now shattered into a million pieces like broken glass. He tried again to wiggle out of the tight grasp, but it was no use. She stood over him, with her foot now on the rock, looking down at the now powerless eight year old.
Gwen: You're little game, is over.
She heard him crying out and she couldn't take his protests anymore. Annoyed, she finally decided to kick him in the faceā¦HARD; so hard that he ended up blacking out. The agents then stood up, along with the rest of the trapped townsfolk and screamed in victory, knowing that Gideon Gleeful was now defeated. They all surrounded Gwen for a short amount of time, asking her how it felt to be trapped in the dungeon, and how she knew so much about the twerp. However, they only surrounded her for a few minutes until they heard sirens in the distance, indicating that the authorities were almost here. She stepped away from the residents, and made her way over towards the Pines twins. Mabel seemed a little weaker than before, and Dipper was still grasping onto her hand, not even daring to let her go. She then sat down next to the slightly younger twin, where he turned and saw that she was alright. He smiled at her, and she smiled back. They have won the battle, and defeated Gideon. They all jumped when a police car ran through the wired fence, creating a whole, big enough for the citizens to run out, and go back to living there normal lives. The paramedics were right behind the police car, making their way over to the Mystery Kids. The trained doctors were still there, filling in the paramedics about her condition. They stuck IV into Mabel's arm, and felt her heart rate, as the trained doctors took supplies to stabilize her broken leg. When Mabel was fully secured on the gurney, and ushering her towards the ambulance, Dipper and Gwen quickly made their way into the back of the vehicle, going to the hospital with her.
Before the ambulance pulled out, Gwen and Dipper looked back at the property, where they saw cops handcuff Gideon and place him into the car. He was still knocked out due to her powerful kick that made contact with his face, and she was pretty glad she did it. Gwen noticed her uncle, as he saw her in the ambulance, about to drive away towards Gravity Falls Hospital. He waved at her, and she waved back, knowing that both of them were okay. Hopefully while waiting in the waiting room, he'll show up and the two of them could have a discussion. Gwen felt something touch her hand, and as she looked down, she saw Dipper's hand holding hers. She then made eye contact with him, where he did the same, giving her a sincere and soft smile. Mabel had fallen into a unconscious state, sleeping peacefully while Dipper's other hand was still tightly on his sisters. Gwen and Dipper felt the ambulance begin to drive away from the Shack, and heard the sirens, (full blast) as the three of them, along with the paramedics, made their way to Gravity Falls Hospital, knowing that Gideon's little Reign of Terror, was now officially over.
