Hey guys. Well that's me back from holiday all nicely tan and mosquito bitten. So far only two people have come close to guessing who the evil mastermind behind the attack is. I will PM the winner and discuss the fluff scene between our two girls with them. Again thank you to everyone who has reviewed and offered encouragement. On with the show!

I've tried to pry Alice and co from Stephanie Meyer but she still owns them and Twilight sadly. :'(

I awoke to a beam of sunlight directly shining on my face. Millions of miles away and Apollo still had deadly accuracy. There was a soft pressure on my side which seemed to be vibrating slightly. Putting my arm around the pixie I snuggled deeper into her purring embrace. Hearing her giggle only alerted to me that my head felt like a Minotaur had taken a sledge hammer to it.

"Ohhhh. It hurts pixie." Only hearing a very loud giggle as an answer I groaned and moved the pillow over my head.

"Aww, my poor baby. Do you remember what happened last night?" Alice whispered beside me. It was a blessing she decided to keep her voice low.

"Purple water, you singing you masturbate about me and a heart to heart with Jasper. Did I cover it all?" I tentatively asked.

"Oh, well I think you should ask Emmett for his video recording he took of us last night. A few other things happened." She chuckled as she got out of the bed, taking half the covers with her. The instant coldness of air on my skin startled me and quickly looking down I found I was naked.

"Oh Zeus no. Alice, please tell me we didn't have our first time when I was drunk." I hissed while trying to cover up as much as possible with the small amount of covers she left me. My cheeks were red when Alice didn't answer instantly but rather hesitated as her eyes roamed over any visible pieces of skin. "Alice!" I hissed again, gaining her attention away from my legs.

"Oh sorry, I just...erm...sorry what was the question?" Did she sound out of breath?

"Did we do the nasty last night?"

"Oh no, erm...you spilled three of your drinks over your clothes trying to show us how to dance the Time Warp. You weren't satisfied with taking just the wet ones off so stripped fully in the living room. And then - Bella? Bella honey, stop banging your head off my headboard." Alice blurred over and placed her hand between me and the headboard before kissing my cheek. "Good, now I've set out some clothes for you. They may be a bit small but it's the only larger ones I have." She said while skipping to the door.

"Why can't I just borrow some of Rosalie's or Esme's? I'm their height aren't I?" I questioned the retreating fairy.

"Can you please wear the ones I set out? I don't know it's just, a thing I have. Like I want to s-see y-y-you in my clothes...if that makes sense...?" Was she stuttering? Alice hadn't stuttered since the day she met me.

Smirking I nodded at the bashful vampire. "Sure can do Tink. It'll be nice wearing designer clothes for once."

"Don't worry, I won't peek much I promise." She winked before continuing her skip out the door.

I sat there for a couple minutes, wondering if she was serious or not. Deciding the only way to get around her sneaking visions was to randomly decide when to get up, I sprang forward and changed in record time. Sure my underpants might be backwards, but the job was done.

Walking down the steps I was met with a pristine living room. The floors shined and the furniture looked freshly cleaned. You could never tell I had spilt three drinks last night. Sitting on the couch was a beaming Emmett and a smirking Alice. I could instantly tell my tactics failed by the gleam in her eye as she looked me over.

"Wow, clothes a bit tight Bella Baby?" Emmett teased. Before I could retaliate he produced an IPad with what looked like the start of a video on it. Squeezing next to my Alice, I readied myself for what I was about to see.

"TIME WARP!" Bellowed from the tablet as Emmett started laughing already. "Skip it! I already know what happens here." I urged the mountain beside me. The scene changed as he fast forwarded it to me sitting on a love seat with Alice in my lap. Rosalie and Jasper were dancing in front of us, Jasper being very sloppy in his moves. But it was obvious they were both listening in to what Alice and I were discussing.

"You smell of Bacardi my Bella, although I prefer your clothing dry." Alice said to the steaming Bella over the music.

"Hehe don't you want me wet Alice?" Bella said while kissing under her ear. This evidently had an effect on Alice as she stiffened and let out a loud purr. "I love this song!" Bella shouted as she suddenly got up from the seat with a startled Alice falling to the floor.

"Bella! That was mean!" Alice cried from her mates feet. Bella ducked down to try to help her up but fell to the side in the process. The roles had been reversed as Alice was now the one who offered a helping hand up to Bella. Instead of taking the hand offered to her, Bella clutched to Alice's legs and squeezed them. "Er honey, this isn't rugby."

"I just care for you, so much!" Bella shouted into the girls jeans. Her sobbing shook Alice as she held onto her tightly.

"Aww Bells, I care a lot about you to." Alice said between laughs.

Taking the laughter as a sign Alice didn't believe her, Bella shouted, "Jasper! Tell her it's true!" Bella suddenly pointed to the blond vampire.

Sauntering over to the couple, Jasper placed his hands on Alice's shoulders and stared into her crinkling eyes. "Listen here darlin. Bella speaks nothing but the truth! I can't even tell she doesn't have a mating bond she cares that mucshhh."

"Listen to Goldy Locks!" Bella shouted from the floor. She staggered up slowly and dusted off her jeans. "Does anyone else feel really uncomfortable in wet clothing?" The tape ended there.

I didn't have enough hands to face palm with.

"I just care for you, so much!" Emmett pretended to wipe tears from his eyes as he tried to control his unnecessarily loud laughter. Alice punched his side and cradled my head in her arms.

"I find it endearing Emmett! I think the fact she managed to come up with different words than I love you in such a state is very intelligent!"

"Guys! Hung over human with very sensitive ears down here!" I yelled from the cool embrace of Alice's arms. It felt as if a lit torch was wedged between my ears. The cold essence of Alice surrounding me was like a heavenly ice pack.

"I will see you two love birds later. I'm off to find me some Roses." Emmett whirled off the couch and blurred up the stairs. I was so sore I didn't even bother retching at the thought of him and 'Roses'.

"Thank god the oaf left. I have been waiting fourteen hours to get some alone time with you." Alice lowly said as she kissed my head. The extra coolness of her lips was like ecstasy on my hangover.

"Now you have me, do you mind if I just curl up and ignore life for a while?" I pleaded to my girlfriend.

"Don't you dare Isabella! You promised remember. Ninety six years I've waited for some loving."

"Then you wouldn't mind waiting a little longer." Turns out I was a massive jerk when hungover. Just as Alice was about to slap me Carlisle came into the room with a telephone in his hand.

"Bella, your father is on the phone with news about Olympus. I would refrain from mentioning the amount of liquor you consumed last night." He said as he handed the phone to me.

"Carlisle, you do realize angels have the enhanced hearing of nearly all supernaturals?" Thank Zeus Charlie couldn't see my blush. Although Carlisle could...

"Of course, Bella." He said with a wink and with that he left me alone with Alice and the telephone. I sat down into the welcoming embrace of Alice.

"What up Dad."

"Quite a bit. We need to talk. But first, how's the head?" Alice snickered loudly beside me.

"Shut up I'm retired! I needed a leaving party!" Alice slapped my arm and hissed. "A celebration party I meant. Celebration of finding my mate...don't know how I got those two mixed up." Judging by the low growling I guessed I wasn't off the hook.

"Don't worry snapjack, you'll learn to not fall into those traps with your mate over time. But now we must talk seriously. Zeus led a strike force to take out the Volturi, against the advice of his council. I don't know how it happened but something went drastically wrong. The vampires, they were unnaturally strong for their kind. Our weapons didn't affect them. Not even Zeus's powers seemed to hurt them. All he could do was push them back. Someone has betrayed us Isabella. Someone who has power in the council. They counter attacked and left the bodies of the strike forced littered over Olympus. Not even the strongest Demi gods stationed at the cloud city could take them. Not even Hercules or Percy Jackson could defeat them."

"What does this mean Dad?"

"I don't know. Poseidon has asked me...to ask you...to..."

"Spit it out Dad."

"He wants me to ask you to come back to your job. Be reinstated." Alice growled loudly next to me. Her grip tightened considerably. Looking up into her eyes I saw a desperateness I didn't understand. Why would she not want me going back to work? But I couldn't say no, Olympus needed me and I wasn't going to turn my back on the city that raised me.

"I'll return as soon as I am ordered to father." Charlie sighed on the other end of the line as if he expected this, but didn't want to hear it.

"There is another thing. The vampire you brought back from your mates coven is missing. So is Hades wife Persephone, he must of kidnapped her. You can imagine the god of the dead isn't in the best of moods. Two African countries have received zombie uprisings. I know you don't like the vampire but Bella, we need to bring him back to be questioned. That is Poseidon's orders for now." Nodding I waited for his answer. But then realized he couldn't see me.

"Yeah, yeah of course. When do I leave?"

"We are still waiting for the green light. I'll contact you again about the specific details later, but I need you to calm down before I tell you this." My silence gave him the go ahead to continue, "A tracker by the name of James will be going with you. I need you to promise me, no matter what, you won't harm him. Not even if he asks for it."

"Sure, I'll be fine."

"I'm serious Isabella. Poseidon has ordered he be kept alive, seeming his skills in tracking. I doubt even your favoritism with the gods could protect you."

"I get it dad, I won't hurt the tracker. I'll manage it."

"Alright Bells. Just prepare yourself, James has some qualities you may find...disturbing. Stay with the Cullens for the time being. For now I'll leave you to your mate. Goodbye Bells." And with that a monotone dial call signaled he was gone. Alice beside me was literally bouncing she was growling so much. Her eyes had become pitch black and her fangs were visible. It would scare me, if it wasn't Alice.

I slowly ran my hands through her short ebony locks and cooed in her ear that everything will be okay. The growling started to turn into a half purr half snarl as her emotions waged war with each other. After a few minutes she had returned to her normal self, of not a little flustered.

"Bella I know for a fact Edward isn't behind this. He is an arrogant twat but he couldn't organize something this evil. He's been taken prisoner I bet." Alice seemed to be doing the vampire equivalent of hyperventilating.

"Okay, I trust your judgment. Even though he acted horribly in the past, I could see he loves this family deeply and wouldn't endanger it. Can you see any visions Tink? Like where he is being held?" The rest of her family appeared around us as Alice went stock still and her eyes glazed over.

"No, no I can't see him at all. It's like his future has been taken away from him. The only times that happens is when the wolves come close to the borders." Looking around at the gathered coven, I was met with six depressed vampires. They really cared for Edward, Charlie is wrong about him kidnapping the goddess. Alice was close to tears as she tried repeatedly in vain to see her coven mate, it made me want to find him all the more.

I raised myself up and looked each vampire in the eye, looking the longest into Alice's. "I will go find sex hair - I mean Edward. I promise you my team and I will find him. Charlie is hiring the most skilled tracker in all of existence to help us. When I return we will have your coven mate, I swear on the river Styx." I finished and was met with looks of gratitude all around.

"I'm coming with you Bella, I just found my mate and I'm not leaving her side for the next decade at least." My pixie announced to the room. No one objected.

"Fine then, but prepared to get wet Alice."

"I'm always prepared for that in your presence snapjack."

SCENE CHANGE

My team lay around a small waterfall in the clearing we were resting in for the night. James, our tracker, was slumped up against a pinecone.

James was a fairy.

He had two small wings sprouting out from his shoulder blades with gold dust fluttering off of them. His attire consisted of a forest green tunic with golden elf shoes that curled several times at the ends. His long blonde hair was kept up with a single dandelion root which made it look like he had a pony tail on the top of his head. Like vampires, his skin was ghostly pale but his cheeks held a rosy tint to them. All in all, he was Tinker-bell's male counterpart.

Along with James, we had two saytr's with us. Hazel and Stella were also skilled in tracking, but their main talents lay in nature manipulation. With one whistle they could summon tree roots to wrap around an enemy, or conjure Dryads to serve them lunch. Saytrs were in essence, goat people. They were humanoid in appearance, but covered in fur and instead of feet had hoofs. Two large horns poked out of their goat like heads and were adorned with enchanted beads and carvings. Alice screamed when I first introduced her to Hazel, an action which made James laugh in a high pitched tone - even higher than my pixie's!

James and Alice didn't get along at all. Instantly, James took a liking to her in more than curiosity. I felt compelled to make out with her right then and there to show what was mine. But it seemed to only make James more fascinated with my girl. He would follow right behind her as we travelled. Every chance he got he would try to isolate Alice from the group. Although being only a couple inches tall, James was proving to be a disturbing stalker.

We had travelled three days by sea to get to this clearing. I had summoned great serpents to carry us along the waves at speeds which could rival a jet ski's. James was adamant that the trail took us into the woods, which Hazel and Stella were exceedingly grateful for. Unfortunately the trail ran cold in a set of boulders about two miles away from our camp. Tomorrow we would investigate the boulders profusely and watch for any supernatural signs or scents.

"Hey snapjack, can't sleep?" Alice said as she sat down beside me. The moonlight glowed off of her and sparkled into a million diamonds along her arms and legs. It took me a couple of seconds to respond I was staring so much.

"I can never really sleep right before a mission. It's always been a thing with me, but I don't too get tired if that is what you're worried about. Just being around water gives me strength. Also Stella ate my sleeping bag." Alice curled around my arm, finally seeming to be at ease now that James was asleep.

"That fairy creeps me out Bells, does he have to be here? I feel like I'm being watched by him whenever I go into a vision." She asked from under my arm.

"Afraid so Ali cat, he's one of the best trackers alive. Once this is over you won't have to see him ever again I promise. Maybe he thinks you are part fairy to, although we both know it's actually part pixie."

"Ha ha that is so hilarious Isabella. Just remember this pixie managed to tackle you to the ground. Why can't you call me Ali cat more often instead of Tink? Everybody else does."

"I didn't want to hurt you okay, I let you get in an easy shot," I winked at the spiky mess of raven hair below me. "I heard Emmett call you that on the first day we met, but I don't want a nickname that everyone else calls you. I wanted it to be unique and just ours." I guessed from the fact she snuggled in closer to me she liked my answer.

"Tell me more about your world Bella. It's a shame vampires don't get to know it's secrets, it all seems so interesting."

"Well what do you wanna know about?" I asked and had a slight sense of foresight on what she would ask.

"You!" She squealed. Yep I was right. This foresight thing isn't as hard as she makes it look.

"Okay erm. Well you already know what I am. What I can do. Where I came from. Is there anything else I could tell you?"

"Of course silly! That's all facts about your existence, I want to know more aboutyouas a person...nereid...thing..." She giggled as I laid us back down onto the grass to stare up at the star dotted sky. Humans said the night sky was beautiful, even with their primitive eye sight. With my enhanced eyes I could make out so much more than just stars. I could see nebulas, supernovas and the birth of stars. The sky was alight with colours not even Da Vinci could imagine.

Sighing contently I squeezed Alice tighter to me. "There isn't much to say. I've been pretty boring until recently. When I am not on missions I spend my time reading historic books and listening to whatever music I can get my hands on. But mostly I love to swim at night. You wouldn't believe the amazing aurora that reveals itself at night under the sea Alice. It's like you're in the night sky but swimming through it. The beauty surrounds you, envelops you. It reminds me what I'm fighting for Tink."

Alice was clinging onto me with a massive grin spread across her face. "What's got you so happy, smiles?" I teased and poked her in the side.

She squealed again and laughed out loud. "When you were telling me about that, swimming at night, it was like a fog settled over your eyes. You seemed so happy and at ease I could of pinched you and you wouldn't notice." To prove her point she pinched me.

"Ow! Alice! Do I look at ease right now?!" With only her melodic laughter as an answer I decided on the spot how to get my revenge.

Alice let out a surprised yelp as I jumped on top of her and started tickling every part of her body my fingers could find. "Bella...Bella stop!...I can't...Isabella!" Alice choked out through fits of laughter. I was winning pretty easily and would have continued if not for the goat like snort which came from the two satyrs a few meters away.

Getting off of Alice, I sat back in my original position and couldn't keep the smile off my face. Alice had other ideas as she pulled me down back on top of her, my chestnut hair mixing with her ebony locks. "I'm more comfy like this." She whispered to me as we gazed into each other's eyes. What I saw staring back at me was a mixture of utter love and adoration swirling in those amber onyx eyes. "Tell me about vampires Bella, I want to know everything about what I am. I can only remember being a vampire and nothing else. Just waking up in this body and having no clue what or where I was."

Her eyes seemed to dimmer a little and I realized this was a big thing for her. Not knowing who you were, what your purpose was for so long could only be torturous. "Okay Alice. But I warn you, you may not like what I say."

"It's okay Bells, I just want to know." My heart broke at the urgency in her eyes.

"Vampires were created to be warriors. Easily expendable, easily replaceable warriors. A platoon of vampires could be replaced within three days. The war with the titans was at a stalemate for a few years and both sides desperately wanted an advantage. Zeus ordered Hades to build him an army of warriors which could be sent to do as much damage as possible, without coming back. In other words, Zeus wanted soldiers who could be sent off on suicide missions and be replaced almost instantly. Although the rest of the gods didn't agree with Zeus's new soldiers, they couldn't object because they needed any advantage they could get over the titans. At first the vampire warriors were a great success, the Titan army had never battled a creature so expendable to the gods. But soon they learnt their behavior, how erratic and instinctual their thinking process was. Zeus ordered they be made more powerful, that's where gifts came in. Individual vampires would bring across their most defining characteristics from their human lives."

"Once the war was won, Zeus couldn't care less about Hades's creations. He told the god of death he could do with them as he pleased. The other gods were outraged. If Zeus wasn't going to destroy such heartless creatures, then their existence needed to be made better. A vote took place and it was decreed vampires would be given a life long mate they could identify from a single look. Also the instincts of vampires were brought down a notch. If they chose to, vampires could control their urges to an extent where they could survive off of animal blood. For a time everything was good. But Zeus angered Hades by handing off his creations so nonchalantly, as payback he let vampires roam freely across the globe with no knowledge of how to better themselves or fight their instincts. It's amazing there are covens who feed exclusively off of animals at all if you ask me." I finished my history lesson to see Alice was in the exact same position she was when I started telling the story.

"Thank you Bella. I've been wanting to know my purpose for nearly a century. And now I know what it is."

"The titans are gone Alice. Imprisoned in the darkest pits of Tartarus, vampires don't need to fight anymore."

"I was meaning my purpose is to spend my eternity with you silly. I'm very happy to be a vampire if it means I get you as my mate." She snuggled next to my side and started purring loudly.

Looking up at the vast array of colours in the night sky and how the clearing we are in was so like her own one back in Forks; I couldn't help thinking how romantic this was. And thinking over what she said, how she is happy with being a vampire just because she got me. I realized I felt the same way. No matter what life threw at me, I was going to take it because I had Alice at my side. The anger I initially felt at the gods for messing up Alice's mating bond wasn't because I was angry at having a mate, it was because Alice would be sad. The girl vibrating against my side had become the most important thing in my life in the span of a week and somehow that feeling just kept growing. I didn't care about my job anymore, I didn't care about my relations with the gods. All I cared about right now was Alice. And with that realization, I knew I had to tell her something.

"Alice?"

"Yes Bella?" She sleepily asked as she buried her head in my neck.

"I love you."

The purring stopped. Silence echoed throughout the clearing. Even the satyrs seemed to be holding their breath.

Alice's eyes shot open and stared up at me. She searched my eyes with an intensity that felt a little overwhelming. Slowly, a smile started to spread across her face until she was beaming at me.

"Oh my god I've been waiting forever to hear you say that and you said it and I love you too so much and the setting was so romantic and I need to call Esme - mmph!" I cut her rambling off with a passionate kiss. Her hands immediately tangled themselves in my hair and she moaned loudly. Hazel and Stella both snorted and started clapping their hands together. Summoning water from the waterfall, I made a bubble of liquid that separated Alice and I from the rest of the world and a certain peeping fairy. And for once, our special moment wasn't being videotaped.

After three hours in our little bubble, Alice disengaged herself from me and sat up. The light blue tinge the bubble gave off just added to Alice's already enchanting aurora. "I'm going to go hunt, Bella. I'll be back in a few minutes alright?"

"Yeah sure, just don't go too far from the camp. I'll be waiting." I winked and let the bubble diminish. Luckily no water splashed on me or Alice, I'm not sure Alice would let me live if any had.

Once her small form had faded into the forest I sat up and thought about my girl. The way her hips rolled naturally as she walked. The slight skip in her step that made it seem she danced her way through life. The bubbly chime of laughter she issued whenever we were around each other because she was nervous. Her amazingly cute dimples.

"Wonder what you're thinking about." A high pitched voice asked from my left. It wasn't the musical high pitch of my mate, more like how I imagined Edward being kicked in the balls would talk like.

James was sitting on a stone a few feet away from me, a smug smile on his face. "What I'm thinking about is of no concern to you fairy."

"Can I ask you something? What is it like, falling in love?"

"..." For one of the few times in my life I found myself without an answer, "I don't know how to explain it James, I'm not sure it can be put into words. But just knowing someone cares about you so deeply, knowing that if you had to plunge yourself into tartarus, that someone would be right there beside you. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced and I feel it every waking second of my life."

James leaned back, "Touching, one more question, if you don't mind?"

"Shoot."

"How far have you gotten?"

The fairy asked the question with such a straight face that it took me a minute to realize what he'd said, "James!"

"Oh come on! It's not as if I asked to watch!"

I shifted to stare dumbfounded at him, "I don't think Alice would appreciate me answering that question James, and frankly you asking it is a little disturbing."

James threw his hands into the air, "Pfft, I've had enough friends to know what that means."

As much as I wanted to drop the subject I let my curiosity get the better of me, "What do you mean?"

"You've gotten no where." I almost responded to him, almost. But the mischievous sparkle in his eyes told me that was exactly what he wanted. Fairies were renowned for causing mayhem and taking pleasure in unraveling the minds of others. "You know, water may hide you visually but it can't hide you audibly." He winked and I actually tasted a bit of sick.

"Alice is my mate, it would do you well to remember that. I've tolerated your creepy behavior so far because Alice hasn't said anything about it. But now she has so I'll ask you to stop. Or I'll make you stop." I threatened the cocky fairy. If it phased him he didn't show it.

"Alice intrigues me. She reminds me of a human I once knew. A small girl with black hair, she smelled divine Isabella. I couldn't stay away. A little sleeping dust and wallah, the girl is knocked out for two hours."

"That is perverted. You're a disgusting creature James. I'm glad you used the past tense when you talked about her."

"Oh Isabella," I really hate it when people call me that. "I only use the past tense because she fulfilled her usefulness to me. Once I have a toy in my sights, I can't let anyone else play with them. And you can't do anything about it because Poseidon needs me alive." This was true. I'd been given strict orders from Charlie not to pommel the sadistic bug. Now I know why he wouldn't hang up until I promised.

"If you try anything with her, no god will hold me back." I tensed up and James backed away a little, finally seeing he took it too far. The silent flap of his wings was the only sound in the clearing as he fluttered into the air.

"Duly noted Isabella." And with that the winged rat flew away towards Hazel and Stella.

Biggest Chapter so far! Next chapter will reveal who is responsible for all this mess and disrupting Bellice snuggling time. Any questions will be answered so please review and tell me what you thought. Goodbye for now. :D
