A/N: Hello all my dear readers out there, it has been a while since I updated, but here is than a new story for this one. A light one as I make far too many dark ones, just something silly. I hope that you all enjoy this chapter and please tell me what you thought of it.
Again big thanks to my Beta reader, she's awesome!

Merlin was sitting quietly against a tree, a thick book in his lap as the sun shined softly on his face. It was a good day, he could enjoy his book while Aithusa was out on a flight. It was nice to be out of the city, away from the noisy cars, the loud music, it was all a bit... too much.
It was in the late afternoon that he heard the dragon return, the swift sound of wings and that small roar that told him that she was there. He looked up, smiling softly at the creature returning to him.
She landed heavily onto the ground, the ground softly shaking and a smile plastered on her snout. Aithusa quickly leaned in to touch his face with her snout before she said. 'The weather is perfect for flying, you should have come with me.'
He smiled back at her. 'Sitting on your back while harsh wind and rain slam into me isn't what I enjoy most.'
A pout appeared on her snout before she lay down next to him, her head resting on his lap... and on top of his book. 'You know,' She started, her big black eyes turned to look at him. 'You could just come with, I mean you could just fly yourself.'
The memory immediately surfaced and he groaned. 'I'm never going to do that again!' He moaned.
'You only tried it once, besides you were drunk when you did that. I'm certain that you won't fly into a tree this time.' The dragon ended sweetly.
Merlin sighed and shook his head as he thought of what had happened back then.

The dragon looked at her dragonlord with pleading eyes, she knew he would love to fly with her... and she would it if he did fly with her. Besides she would be sure that he wouldn't make a fool out of himself this time, it wasn't as if there was any alcohol around.
Though it was rather funny to think about what had happened that last time, even for a dragon like her.
The dragon was nervously pacing, in her human form, inside the small house, outside she could hear the people and the cars and a sudden fear reached her. Her master wouldn't have been in an accident... no, no she couldn't think like that, he was alright, she just had to believe.
It was then that she was shocked out of her thoughts when the door slammed open and she spun around, facing the door.
She froze when she saw the person that had entered, it was her Dragonlord. 'Merlin?' She asked quietly as she stared shocked at him.
'H-hi... *hick* A'usa, am home.' He mumbled as he walked forwards, a huge smile spread over his lips, his eyes unfocused and he didn't walk straight... He was clearly drunk.
'You're drunk!' Aithusa practically screamed in pure shock. She had never seen Merlin drunk and as far as she knew he had never been drunk, he was always careful to not do anything shocking, but now... She blinked as she realized, today was that day. Sometimes it really hit him, other times he could go through the day without any tears, today was one of those worse days. The dragon sighed as she shook her head. 'You should go to bed.'
'Vill do sooo... ma-am.' He nearly fell over as he stumbled and started to undress.
She turned back to sit down in the living room, though it wasn't long till she heard Merlin stumble back to the hallway and again she looked at him, but this time she had to stop herself from laughing, he looked ridiculous. Merlin was wearing a rather tight pajama, his... *chuckle* underwear on top of his pajama bottom. Besides that he wore one of his old capes, the fire red cape of Camelot's knights wrapped around his shoulders.
'M-Mer-lin.' She breathed out in both shock and laughter.
The warlock turned to look at himself for a moment before reaching for the door and stepping outside. She quickly jumped up, she may find it funny, but it would be terrible if anyone else saw him like this.
But she was too late, as she stepped outside he jumped in the air, his magic forcing the wind to pull him up, which really wasn't that difficult since he was barely more than skin and bones.
Aithusa ran after him as Merlin 'flew' through the streets, shocking most people and she even thought she could see a woman faint somewhere to her right.
She cursed herself, she couldn't change in a place this crowded, she just hoped he came down before he hurt himself.
The dragon stopped in the middle of a crossway, for a moment having lost sight of her master. As she stood there she could hear a woman gasp behind her. 'What's that?' She screamed.
The man next to her answered. 'It's a bird!'
"It's a plane!' Another suggested.
The woman that had first shouted shook her head in disbelief and said. 'No, it's superman.'
Aithusa gave a rather amused look at the dumb founded group of people, the woman was starting to get rather pale.
She quickly returned to running after Merlin, who was leaving the city, which was probably a good thing. It was at the edge of the city that the forest started. 'Merlin, stop!' She screamed.
The warlock turned around to look at her, but he didn't stop and before he could even open his mouth he flew straight into a tree. She gasped as his body slumped to the ground, though when she reached him she could hear him groan. At least he was alive.
She quickly helped him home, which was far more difficult than she thought as he was still clothed rather... unusually.
Aithusa snickered as she remembered and she turned to look at Merlin, who himself had realized that she remembered too and a dark blush spread over his cheeks. 'As I said, never again!'
