A/N: Hello all my dear readers. So here's for all of you another chapter about which I think you might have already guessed Doctor Who. I know that last chapter was a bit strange, but it was really meant to not been taken to serious. With this chapter I wish everyone a great Christmas (or what you celebrate). So as you might have already guessed I'm a bit into Doctor Who at the moment so I really wanted to write for it. So this is my first Doctor Who story so please forgive me if the characters are a bit OOC. I wasn't planning on making a big thing, but it definitely became more than planned reaching more than 3 times the size of a normal chapter for this. Furthermore I plan on doing two more chapters for Doctor Who, would you guess like that or rather read something else? I also want to thank everyone that was so wonderful to review, I'm sorry I'm not that great when it comes to replying. So please forgive me for any mistakes I have made and I hope that you will all enjoy!

He slowly made his way deeper into the forest, he knew he wouldn't get lost as he had been in these woods for almost every day with Will... Will, he missed his friend, he knew that Will would be back soon as he and his mom were taking care of his sick aunt, but he still didn't like not being at Will's side. It was lonely. Especially since the other boys didn't play with him, he was a freak after all.

Merlin walked for a couple more minutes before he reached 'his and Will's' tree. He quickly climbed up and sat down on a branch two meters above the ground. Once seated he eyed the branch for a moment, he wondered how long he and Will would be able to climb up here. They had discovered 'their' tree when they were eight, but now that they both had turned twelve the branch would probably start to protest under their combined weight.

He leaned back so his back rested against the wood. He closed his eyes, listening to the sounds of the woods, the singing of the birds, the rustling of the leaves, the humming- Wait, humming?! His eyes snapped open and he quickly looked around him. What was it, bandits? Sorcerers? Knights wanting 'payment'?

It was than that a blue thingy appeared from out of nowhere, a blue box. ''Magic.'' He mumbled as he felt his own right beneath his skin, ready to protect him if that seemed needed.

''Woohoo!'' A sudden voice echoed through the forest as a door in the blue box was thrown open. An... under dressed, yes definitely under dressed, he could see her bare legs after all, woman jumped out of the box! Her legs! If mom knew he saw this than she would surely punish him. A bright blush spread over his cheeks as he turned to look away, he had to say... she had nice legs. ''Doctor, do you smell the woods, it's so nice! Where are we?'' The blond woman asked as she turned back to the blue box.

It was then that a man appeared from the box, he was also dressed rather funny. ''The year 605 in the kingdom of Essetir, just outside a small village named Ealdor.''

''Never heard of it, so why are we here, aliens, vampires... do vampires even exist?''

The man, the doctor, looked at her for a moment before he lifted a stick in the air. ''I have absolutely no idea.'' The man said more to himself than to the lady. It was then that his stick glowed a bright blue light.

''Magic!'' Merlin gasped as he backed further against the tree, this was bad, this was really bad!

The two strangers both snapped to the tree he was sitting in, they had heard his cry. He eyed the two with wide eyes.

The girl was the first one to move, giving him a bright smile as she walked up to him, or rather the tree. ''Hello there, I'm Rose and this is the doctor.'' The last she said as she turned to look at the man behind her.

It was now that the man walked up to the tree. ''So is something happening around these parts?''

''W-what?''

''Are there sightings of strange creatures or are people disappearing?'' Merlin quickly shook his head. ''Hmm, strange. Why did she send us here?'' He mumbled before the doctor eyed the blue box.

He took a deep breath before he asked. ''Why would that be happening?''

The girl smiled at him. ''Something always happen if the TARDIS sends us somewhere.''

''What is this taris thingy?'' He asked as he eyed the blue box, he knew that he shouldn't trust them, but as his mom always said, he was far to curious for his own good.

It was now the doctor that answered. '' She's a Time And Relative Dimension In Space, my time machine-.''

''Did you create it with your magic?''

''No, no, this isn't magic, I would try to explain it to you, but I don't think you would be able to comprehend it.'' Did this man just call him stupid? ''So why don't you come out of that tree?''

Merlin eyed the couple for a moment more before he slowly climbed out of the tree. He looked at both of them, but he quickly felt another blush spread over his cheeks as he watched Rose and he quickly covered his eyes.

''What's wrong?'' The voice of the woman became worried and he felt her hands all over him, it didn't help.

''Rose, you better not touch him.''

''Wait, what's wrong with him then? Did something posses him? W-.''

The doctor laughed. ''Your apparel is most likely the blame. Showing that much skin is really appropriated in this time.''

Rose let out a slight yelp as she tried to cover her legs with her arms, it didn't really work. He peaked through his fingers, trying to only look at their faces. ''I'm sorry my lady, I- uhmm- I didn't mean to look at you while wearing t-that.''

''It- it's okay.'' Rose mumbled before rushing back into the blue box. He eyed her for a moment. Why would she go into something that small... how did both of them even fit into that thing?

''You want to take a look inside?''

He looked up at the man as the doctor asked him that question, an amused smile spread over his lips. Merlin eyed him with an worried look before eying the TARDIS again. ''...Yes.''

''Than we shall take a look!'' He was shoved roughly forwards towards the box.

He eyed the box with suspicion for not the first time these last couple of minutes. He carefully walked up to the box's door and pushed against it. The next thing he saw made his jaw drop. ''T-there... it- it's big!'' He breathed out.

''Of course it's, what had you expected?''

''But... magic?!''

''I told you before, it isn't magic. Technology.''

He still believed that it was magic! ''If you say so.'' Merlin mumbled as he walked inside. He was staring in amazement at the room around him, even the floor sounded strange as he walked over it. Suddenly Rose emerged from a staircase, this time to his relief wearing a long skirt that mostly covered her legs, only showing her ankles, but it was definitely better than before.

''So better!'' She said enthusiastically as she joined them again and Rose smiled at him. ''Am I good like this.'' He nodded at her.

He then turned to looking back around and he walked up to the middle of the room. It looked strange with all these buttons... he wanted to push them all!

''Don't touch!''

A pout spread over his lips, fine he wouldn't touch any of the buttons. He ran a couple of times around the panels, ignoring how Rose whispered to the doctor. ''Is it smart to let him in here.'' and a smile crossed his lips as he heard the doctor's reply. ''I let you in here, didn't I?'' It was then that he felt a small presence... no it wasn't small, it was weak. Yes, it was weak and it came from... beneath the panels. He crouched down on the floor and put his ear against the metal. He could feel her now better, she felt nice.

''What are you doing?'' He could hear the total shock in the doctor's voice so he looked up to see his face mere inches from his own. ''Can you feel her?''

He tilted his head slightly to the side. ''Yeah, of course I can feel her, she's nice.'' He smiled as he looked down at the blue light. She felt good.

Two hands were placed on both sides of his head. ''What are you?''

''W-what?''

The doctor's voice was harsh, yet at the same time he sounded hopeful, desperate. ''I asked you what you are, why can you feel the TARDIS? Why were we send here?!''

''I-I don't know.'' The grip on his cheeks tightened even further.

''Doctor, stop! You're scaring the boy!'' Rose screamed as she pulled the doctor of Merlin.

The doctor was staring wide eyed at him, startled by his own reaction. ''I...''

Rose sat down next to him, laying her hand reassuringly on his shoulder. ''Are you okay?'' He gave her a quick nod. ''He didn't mean to scare you, that is just the way that he is.''

''H-he is a bit of an prat, isn't he?''

She let out a laugh. ''Yeah, he definitely is... You haven't even told us your name.''

''I am Merlin.'' He told her in all honesty, though his mom's voice of not telling strangers your name echoed in the back of his head.

''Ohh that's it!'' The doctor shouted at hearing his name, he once more gripped Merlin's face in his hands, but this time with the biggest smile on his face. ''I should have guessed it, Merlin, oh it all makes sense now!''

''Doctor is he-?''

The doctor looked at Rose, his voice getting higher in his enthusiasm. ''Yes, yes the Merlin and so much more Rose. You don't know how much, now and in the very far future! And here I for a moment thought he was like... me.'' The last word was said with a very small voice and for a moment Merlin could see hurt spread through the man's eyes.

''Merlin!'' He heard his mom's far away voice and he spun around the face the exit.

''Mom.'' He whispered as he jumped to his feet. ''I'm sorry my mom is calling me, I have to go.''

''Than you should go to your mother.'' The doctor replied as he leaned back against the panel's of the TARDIS, his eyes still sparkling with their enthusiasm.

Merlin bit his lip for as he eyed the man for a moment more. ''Will I see you two again.''

The doctor shrugged. ''We might.''

The twelve year old nodded before half running and half walking to the door. While he did so, nearly tripping three times, he turned around to shouted at them. ''You should be careful to where you travel, Essestir isn't the kindest when it comes to sorcerers and you definitely wouldn't want to go to Camelot!'' And with that he ran out of the larger inside than outside blue box.

The doctor couldn't help but smile as he watched the little boy run out of the TARDIS. ''I told you, I don't have magic.'' He mumbled after the boy, knowing that the little raven wouldn't hear him. He then turned to Rose, who was looking stunned at him.

''Was that really Merlin? The Merlin? The Merlin of King Arthur?!''

''Not yet, but he will be one day and after that he will be so much more. The stories that you humans tell are only the tip of the iceberg of his adventures.'' He walked to the panels of the TARDIS. Feeling the soft energy of her underneath his fingers as brushed over the metal. They hadn't met yet, but he had heard many stories about Merlin, or as he also is known Emrys. He had once thought that maybe, just maybe Merlin was like him, a Timelord, it was what he had hoped, but he also knew that that wasn't likely, he was the last one after all. There was another force that let Merlin be the being that he was... but there were things that even he didn't know, like the face of Boe and now Merlin.

He set the TARDIS for a new destination, there meeting had been short, but he was sure that they would meet again.
