It was the opportunity of a lifetime. She was there about to reach the peak of her dreams but she decided to let it go. Tori sighed to herself. She was disappointed, yes but she was glad it was over. She would rather have it this way than to be known all round the world to be the obnoxious pop star who shoved ravioli on a retired astronaut's pants.
Well here she is now. All alone. Her friends just left her house. They wanted to go to Jade's rehearsal. They said wanted to stay and comfort me here but she knew they would have more fun there. Beck didn't go with Robbie and Andre. He stayed here for a while then she just made him go to Jade's rehearsal. Beck really didn't want to go to Jade's rehearsal. Tori thought it was sweet of him but she ended up sending him home.
Tori doesn't know if Beck knows about it but ever since she first met him she knew that there was a spark. Beck for her was different. The way she stared up into his eyes and the way he stared into his was something she could never explain. She fell for him right then and there and if Jade wasn't his girlfriend at that time, their relationship wouldn't be like this. You know, Friend zoned. She loves Beck Oliver but the thought of Jade West, her friend, was his ex-girlfriend. It was clear that Beck Oliver was off limits no matter how much she loves him.
She suddenly heard a scuffling sound from her laptop. She looked back and saw that Cat had left the PearChat on. "Oh Cat." Tori murmured to herself. She reached for her laptop and before she could close the PearChat she heard a familiar voice in the background. Actually, she heard two familiar voices.
"I can't believe you just did that Jade." The first familiar voice said in an angry tone. It was angry yet calm and laid back. It had to be Beck's.
"I had an opportunity and I took it. So what's your problem?" A witty voice said. It was obviously Jade's and without a doubt, the two alighted from Tori's screen not noticing she was even there.
"Tori had this Jade and you took it from her. You're supposed to be her friend." Tori's heart fluttered. Beck was fighting for her. A thing she couldn't do for herself.
"Friend? Tori is not my friend. Friends do not hug and makes moves on their friend's ex-boyfriend." Jade said almost teary eyed. Tori couldn't help but shed a few tears herself. She felt the sudden pang of guilt.
"Is this what it's all about Jade? Jealousy? Damn it Jade! We've broken up months ago and you still can't let go?" Beck screamed. Good thing no one was there to hear them.
"How can I Beck? How can I?" And at that point Jade started to break down. One thing that she rarely does and if she ever did she would only do it for one reason and one reason only. Beck Oliver. But that wasn't where Tori's attention was. It was at Beck who was taking Jade's chin and leaning closer. Tori could literally hear her heartbreak. Then there it was the moment Tori did not want to see. Jade's and Beck's lips touched and her heart shattered into small tiny pieces. She couldn't bear to watch this any longer than she should. She closed her laptop and ran to her room leaping onto her mattress crying her eyes out.
For one moment she thought she had it all. An opportunity, a life, and a love. But due to her foolishness it all went away. All was lost. Now, she had nothing. She had no opportunity, which for her was okay. She had no love which for her was her life. Everything was seemed to be onto place but now everything collapsed and she would take back time if she could. But it's too late and she could never get the dream that she had in her reach before. It's gone. All gone.
