Robert went off to get some papers in his office. He needed to show me something. Coming back with stapled papers, Robert sat down on my bed.
I quickly scan the first 2 papers. It was all in code a code for a phone number.
"A phone number?" Robert nodded.
He sighed, "I wasn't going to tell you." I flipped the paper onto the other side. There was a picture of Uncle Jerry shaking a hand that belonged to an officer. I stared closer to the picture. Will Lennox was shaking Uncle Jerry's hand.
"Lennox?" I took a look at Robert.
"How did you know?" he questioned. I shrugged and said,
"Someone from my school mention him as their uncle." I frown at Robert, "How did Uncle Jerry know Will Lennox?"
I looked back at the phone number. Robert took the paper from my hands.
"Before my parents died, Dad gave me this and said to call it whenever I'm in serious trouble." He carefully rip out the picture that was stapled on the paper. "I got this picture a year later after their death. It was in the mail one morning from an unknown sender." His eyes traveled back to me, "I believe Lennox sent it to me," he held out the paper.
"Why would we need his number?" Right at that moment everyone fell into the room.
"He could help us!" cheered Dragon on top of everyone.
Dragonfly sat on me in the living room. "What if he doesn't answer?" she asked, "I mean he's in hiding for a reason." She was right, Ratchet was hiding in a boat before he died. I wonder what's happening to all of them.
"Let's try anyways," said Sparky, "what could be worst than not answering a call?"
"Having the government track you down." Mira was against the idea of calling the suspicious number.
"But I'm secured!" We nodded at Dragon. After the MIB attack at the pier I upgraded Dragonfly.
"Let's try anyways, it's better to try than not try try at all." I nodded at Robert, "Alright, go for it Dragon." The purple phone bounced back into her alt form and started dialing. We waited after three long buzzes until someone answered.
"Hello?" This voice didn't belong to a man's voice, but a sweet and young girl's voice.
"Hello! I'm Erica Lunt, the um, niece of Jerry Lunt. May I ask who I am speaking to?"
"Annabelle Lennox, daughter of Will Lennox. Do you need to speak to my father?" The name Annabelle Lennox zipped through my head, it seems the All Spark remembered something.
"Yes, I do it's urgent." There wasn't a response but the noise of running up a flight of stairs. Annabelle then called for her dad.
"Yes, sweetheart?" I am guessing this voice belonged to Will Lennox.
"There's a person named Erica Lunt on the phone for you," she said. There was a short pause on the line.
"Lunt? Hand me the phone Anna." The phone shuffled and a gruffed voice became clearer in my ear. "Is this the daughter of Jerry Lunt?"
"No, I'm his niece. Robert Lunt is his son." I informed him,
"That's right, I remember now. Anyways, you must've called for a reason not everybody figure out that code." The page that has his number on it had a series of random numbers and letters, but it wasn't random. The coding was made by Uncle Jerry he created his own coding basing it off a crossword puzzle leaving clues between the letters and numbers.
"I know my Uncle's coding anywhere, but why was your number in this code?"
"This number was made only for the Autobots to use to communicate with us. It was made possible because your Uncle designed it to keep out unwanted listeners, and for fun."
"Mr. Lennox I must tell you something important." Robert's eye steadily watch me as I explain our situation, "about eight years ago, during the Mission City attack, a piece of the AllSpark merged with my eye." The phone on the other end was silent but I heard his breathing. "And, in about 24 hours ago, the AllSpark has started to be very active."
"Kid, I hope you're not pulling my leg. A young man the name of Sam Witwicky touched a tiny piece of the AllSpark and went insane due to the radiation it emitted."
"The AllSpark has been harbored inside me for quite awhile, I remember symbols and such when I touched a Decepticon's spark back in Chicago, but I somehow controlled it. I think the AllSpark has the ability to match it's needed environment to stay slightly dormant for growth."
"So, you're telling me that it's been growing in you for 8 years?"
"Yes, it seems the AllSpark has accepted me as the new box for it." The phone went silent again.
"Erica Lunt," he started again, "you have possession of extreme power. If you want answers I can't help you there."
"I don't want answers." I quickly replied, "I need help to control this new power."
"Well, I still can't hel-" I cut him off,
"I know someone who can, and I need help to rebuild him."
"Rebuild?" he questioned.
"He's currently in the form of his spark and he has agreed to be resurrected in my idea."
"Who is he?"
"The one and only robotic medic." I finally answered with a smile.

Thank you for reading my latest chapter of Mechanism. My ideas for this fanfiction has started to drain, so Mechanism will soon be ending in the next 2 or 4 chapters. Thank you!
