Hi guys! I hope your week is going well. Things started to get crazy this week... I found out that I'm supposed to be practicing 10-15 hours a week on my major instrument (where I normally did 7-8) as a music major. So that means that between that and practicing for my other classes, I'm doing like three hours a day! Plus classes and work and homework... I already don't have a social life and average six hours of sleep. So no sleep! woo! :D lol, I'll figure it out. I'm bummed that it's longer, but I don't mind practicing at all! I love playing :D I just don't have time...

Anyways, I'm sure you don't wanna hear about my struggles ;P you want a story! At the end of the chapter, I'm gonna explain something about Elsa and Jack's relationship. Just letting you know.

Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I was practicing too much to make any more development on my plan... so until then, I still do not own either corperation..

Rapunzel looked down at the little purple and gold teddy bear in her hands, smiling. She could feel the happiness around her, the sights, the smells; it was everything she had thought it would be. She turned to Flynn, smiling at him. He had worked so hard to get her here, given it special attention to make sure everything was perfect for her. He had even won her the teddy bear!

This is why I like him. Despite his "bad boy" exterior, he is truly sweet.

Flynn caught her eye and grinned back, draping an arm over her. "Come on! There is so much more to see!"

They came to a circle of people dancing. Punzie giggled to see Elsa and Jack in the middle of the fray. She pointed it out to Flynn, who laughed.

"Of course those two would have found the dancing," he observed.

Rapunzel looked up at him, blushing slightly, "Will you dance with me? Please?"

Flynn rolled his eyes and sighed sarcastically, "If I have to…" He grinned at her to let her know he was jesting.

Punzie caught on and giggled at his antics. She grabbed his hand, pulling him forward, "Come on!"

Once in the dancing crowd, Flynn took the opportunity to pull her close and feel the music. Her laughing face across from him was all he needed. She is truly stunning.

They danced for a few songs, and then escaped to a bench. He had bought them some honey-covered pastries, unique to the Harvest Festival, which they were munching on.

"Punzie?" Flynn asked, turning to her.

She looked to him, her big green eyes twinkling under the light. "Yes, Flynn?"

"I gotta tell you a secret… It's kinda important."

"I'm listening!"

He sighed and looked at his hands. He had to tell her before he asked her out. He knows that she saw through his façade, his rough exterior that he puts out, but he wanted her to know the truth.

"Myrealnameisn'tFlynnRider," he said in a rush.

Punzie cocked her head. "It isn't? Is it a stage name?"

Flynn shrugged, "Yea. I've gone by it since High School."

She leaned in. "Why's that? Is your real name that bad?" she giggled at the thought.

"Hey, hey! No making fun of me, now. I just had to. My real name isn't stage material. I couldn't go up there and hear them say it… I couldn't be suave, couldn't put myself into character…" He trailed off, looking down past his hands.

Rapunzel leaned over and put a hand on his, drawing his attention back to her. "I get it. But just the same, I'm sure your real name is just as wonderful."

Flynn sighed. "It's Eugene Fitzherbert."

"Eugene… Hmm…" She tried it out. "I like it," Rapunzel turned to him, grinning.

Flynn, or Eugene now, gave a huge sigh of relief. She accepts me.

Rapunzel, sensing his uncertainty and concern, reassured him. "Flynn, Eugene… it doesn't matter. Names are just names." Her finger came to rest on his chest, right over his heart. "What makes you special is who you are, not what you are called or who you try to be. I like you for who you are." She smiled at him, genuinely.

He captured her hand and brought it to his mouth, kissing her tender fingers. "Thank you. I needed that."

Punzie giggled, "So can I call you Eugene now?"

Flynn groaned, "I haven't told the other guys yet. They are going to give me so much crap." He grinned at her though, "But I like it when you say it. I don't mind if they make fun of me for it. It's beautiful coming out of your lovely mouth."

"Eugene it is." She grinned.

Kristoff, Anna, Merida, and Hiccup were strolling through the streets, looking at various booths. Merida's smile lit her face as she watched Anna fawn over the pretty jewelry at one stand, then flit to another to do the same over scarves. Kristoff followed her like a guard dog. Hiccup said that Kristoff has been rather protective over Anna since the whole "Hans incident." I wonder if he likes her? She shook her head, banishing the thoughts of romance from her mind. Wow, I'm turning in to Anna now, trying to get people together.

She chatted with Hiccup, watching his eyes light up over a hand drum stand, as he described the how Timpani evolved from old hand drums.

Suddenly, her phone started ringing, cutting Hiccup off. She pulled it out, and upon seeing that it was her mother, silenced it and promptly stuffed it back in her pocket.

Hiccup looked at her funny, "I wouldn't have been offended if you had answered that."

"I didn wanna talk to me mum," Merida said gruffly, her Scottish accent emerging.

"Merida, what's going on? Are you okay?" his concerned eyes cut into her vision, as he stepped in front of her, stopping her determined gait forward.

"Nothin." She grunted.

Hiccup sighed, "The only time I have ever heard you speak in a Scottish accent is when you were furious with the Cymbal player for knocking your trombone off your chair and denting it. I know something's wrong."

She crossed her arms over her chest and turned her face away from his pleading eyes. "Don't wanna talk bout it."

Concerned, but knowing she wouldn't budge, Hiccup gave. "Okay, okay. But know that if you ever do, I'm here for you. Promise?"

Merida waved her hand, and pushed passed him, stomping over to a random stand.

Flynn looked up, seeing how dark it had become. "Are you ready? The lanterns are about to be let go!" he pulled her up, taking her hand in his. "Come on! I have a surprise for you."

He led her through the crowd to the lake, stepping onto a dock. He helped her into the row boat at the end of the dock, subtly checking to make sure everything was in place.

"Eugene, what is all this?" Rapunzel gestured, "Why are we going out to the middle of the lake?"

Flynn smiled at her as he rowed out to the middle of the lake. "I figured you should have the best seat for your dream to come true."

Rapunzel smiled at him. He did all of this for me?

While they waited, Rapunzel and Flynn played with the flowers that littered her hair from earlier in the day. She had gotten it done at a stand. He helped her arrange them in the water; she created a pretty design while he held them for her.

Then it happened.

Rapunzel caught the reflection of a lantern in the water, and almost tipped the boat in her excitement to turn to see it. She watched in awe as lantern after lantern floated up into the sky from all around the lake.

It was everything she had hoped it to be. Stunning, amazing, and moving. Colors, patterns, and ideas flashed in her mind, inspired by the sight. Her fingers itched to sketch the landscape to capture the beauty, and then use it as inspiration for the dress she was working on.

She turned to Flynn, her face exuberant, coming face-to-face with the two lanterns he was holding for them. Her hands flew to her mouth to capture the "Awwww" that almost escaped her lips. He even bought some for us!

He held one out to her, his face soft and smiling in the moon and lamp-light.

But she sat down first, her eyes sparkling. "Eugene, I have something for you too. The thing is, I'm not scared anymore." She leaned in, her hand on his arm, and pressed his soft lips to his cheek.

"I see," Flynn said, his smile as bright as the lanterns he's holding. He put one tenderly in her hand.

Then their lanterns joined the multitudes in the sky.

Flynn put one hand over Punzie's, and his other under her chin, their eyes meeting. "Rapunzel, I don't know if you see it, but you have managed to change me. I used to think that I had to be what everyone wanted me to be. I searched for love in the wrong places, all the time being lonely. I thought I was happy. But you made me realize what true happiness is, where true adventures lie, what true love is." He looked down sheepishly, then back up to meet her shining eyes. "You broke through my 'womanizer' exterior, and now I wouldn't be able to live without you. Please say you will be mine. Please go out with me, be my other half." His eyes looked at her pleadingly.

Punzie smiled up at him, the love shining in her eyes, "I already am."

Flynn's grin split his face. His fingers traced her jaw back to the back of her neck and tangling in her hair. His gaze flickered to her lips, asking permission. She smiled, and leaned forward into him. He met her half way, their lips tenderly brushing, then becoming locked in a more passionate embrace.

The broke apart, lovingly gazing in each other's' eyes, as the lanterns lit the night sky.

This chapter was weird to write, cause none of it was from Jack or Elsa! But I did it :D Some Flynunzel and set up for Merida drama. You will have to wait and see!

About Jack and Elsa: I kinda view them dating the way people used to date back when my parents were in college (like 20 some years ago). A girl would go on dates with different guys, kinda like our version of "talking and hanging out," but sweeter and a lot more. They would go on actual dates, not just hang out. The guys would try to woo the girl they liked. Eventually, if they found they really liked each other, they would ask the girl to be their girlfriend. This is what I'm thinking for them, except they are already commited to each other, cause they don't go on dates with other people. They just aren't boyfriend-and-girlfriend yet. Make sense?

Kay, review time!
