Hey guys! No, I'm not dead. I'm so sorry I didn't update last week. I developed a migraine and was incapacitated from Saturday to Wednesday... I was going to try to write because I wasn't going to classes, but the computer screen hurt too much. Sorry. :P I'm much better now! Just warning you though, my family is moving across the country in two weeks, so I may be slow to update again, or the chapter will be shorter. It's fantastic, because it means my dad got a new job, but it's hard to pack everything and move in two weeks. I'm still staying where I am at college, so this will be intresting! No going home when I wanted to on weekends. But it's amazing for my family!
Some lovely Jelsa fluff for you this week. There will be more to follow next week :D
Disclaimer: Not yet, friends... But I had time to think when I was laying in bed and I have a few leads :D
Elsa tugged nervously on the bottom of her shirt, uncomfortable in the crowd of people. She was eagerly waiting with the many crews across the region, both at her location and at others. Jack had reassured her that they were going to make it, and after watching some of the groups perform, she knew this was true. I just can't help feeling nervous.
Meg, who was standing next to her in the crowd, gently slugged her on the arm. "Come on, you have no reason to be nervous. We were like fifth in this competition last year, and just got better this year. We'll be fine."
Elsa grinned at the girl, "I know, I just can't help but be nervous. I don't like this kind of thing."
Meg feigned shock, "What? A dance major who doesn't like to perform?" She and Elsa had had this conversation before.
"Perform, no. I love to perform. But being rated on it? And all these people? That's what makes me uncomfortable."
Meg's brown eyes softened, "I get it. I was nervous my first time, even though I knew we would make it."
Elsa smiled at the girl, then jumped as a hand pressed against her back and someone's warm breath blew against her ear. "Miss me, princess?" Jack's cologne enveloped her.
She turned around and slugged him, "Not if you're just gonna scare me every time you come back! Then you can just stay away!"
Puss, who had walked up with Jack, laughed at her response. "Feisty, I like that."
Jack turned to him, his arm tightening around Elsa's waist and his eyes narrowing, "Mine. Keep your paws off."
Puss took a step back and raised his arms in a 'I surrender' pose, grinning.
Elsa raised an eyebrow and then pushed his arm off, "I am not a possession. Besides, I'm not even yours."
Jack smirked and just put his arm right back around her. "Not yet. But you're as good as mine, because I know we are going to Regionals. And you promised me a date if we did."
Meg laughed, "Couldn't just get the girl, Jack? Had to stake a date on our placement? Better make him take you someplace good, Elsa."
Elsa smiled sweetly at Jack, feigning innocence, "Oh, I plan on it."
Jack turned to Puss, "At least I got the amazing girl that everyone here has been eyeing."
"Ain't that the truth. Good thing you had your claim on her before she joined us, or I woulda swooped in."
Elsa turned to Jack, "What does he mean, 'claim'?"
Jack rubbed the back of his head nervously, "Well…"
Puss interrupted, chuckling, "He told us all that you were his and to not even dream of it! But he didn't have to tell us for us to see that, querido."
"Really, Jack?" Meg asked, her eyes laughing.
"What? Could you blame me? She's an amazing girl and I want her to date me," Jack said, rubbing his nose against Elsa's.
"And in just a few moments, you will know if we made it and you can take this lovely chica on a date," Puss added.
Suddenly, the lights around the stage began to dance and one of the hosts came out. "Okay, everyone. Back to your crews! In two minutes, we will have live feed from the Regional center to tell us who will be joining them this year at the Regional competition!"
Jack smiled and greeted each member as they began to trickle back to the "home base" they had set up amidst the seats in the auditorium. They all began to chat, telling of the adventures they had while they mingled with the different crews.
Then the lights dimmed and the screens around the stage came on showing a pair of judges: one male, one female.
"Helllllooooo everyone! I'm Rose," the stunning brunette chirped.
"And I'm Frank. We are your hosts for Regionals and we are here live from the Regional center to announce who will be joining us this year in New York for the East Coast Regional competition!" her partner added.
The whole auditorium broke out in cheers.
Rose smiled, "We wish all of you could join us,"
"No we don't," Frank interrupted. "It would take forever to get through everyone."
Rose laughed, "Yea. So we have combined the scores from across the East Coast and ranked all the crews to decide who will make it to regionals. We will take the top twenty-five teams. Now for everyone, both the teams that make it and those that don't, there will be packets for you to pick up with your scores and the judges' comments. Thank you all for trying out!"
"Now for the teams that will be joining us: First place . . . " Frank started announcing teams.
The whole auditorium was silent, waiting in rapture for their crew name to be announced.
"Fourth place, Disney DreamWorks Dance Crew!"
They let out a large cheer, hugging each other. Meg scoffed at Elsa, "I told you so," while Vanessa waggled her fingers at those around them.
Jack's arm snaked around Elsa's waist as his breath tickled her ear, "I guess that means you're mine, princess."
Elsa turned to him and tapped his nose with her finger, "Oh darn, I guess so."

Jack bounded in through Elsa's door and tackled her onto the bed, where she was lacing up her heeled ankle boots.
"Must you always tackle me?" She demanded, looking up at Jack. He was leaning over her, his arms wrapped around her.
"Of course, love. That's part of the fun!" He brushed a tender kiss against her forehead. "But don't pretend you don't like it. I know you do."
She rolled her eyes. "It sure adds a spice to life."
Jack got up, grabbing her hand and pulling her up with him. "Come on, Princess. I have an amazing date planned for us."
Elsa brushed her short black skater skirt down, glad that she wore black tights and spandex under it. Her black patterned thigh-high socks tucked into black ankle boots and a cute cobalt blue lace crop top completed the outfit. She reached over to the other side of the bed to grab her black mini purse and a leather jacket.
Jack eyed her as she did so, an appreciative eye running over her body. "You look stunning," He said, reaching to brush some hair back in place to her French braid as she straightened back up.
"Thanks. I figured I should look good for our first official date. Punzie and Anna will probably want to take pictures." She looked at him, eyeing his black skinny jeans, clean converse, and silver button down. "You don't look too shabby yourself."
Jack laughed, "I look hot, admit it."
"No need to inflate that already too big head of yours."
"So you admit it, just want to save my ego."
"I admit nothing," Elsa retorted, brushing past him on her way to the door, leaving behind a trail of entrancing perfume.
God, she's perfect. Jack shook his head, trying to brush off the trance and moved to follow her.
Sure enough, they were greeted by Punzie and Anna sitting on the couch, playing the enthusiastic parents with their smart phones ready.
After a few pictures, which Jack made them promise to send him when Elsa wasn't looking, the couple was on their way out the door.
"So what's the plan, Frost?" Elsa asked as they waited for the elevator.
"You will just have to wait and see!" Jack smiled, his hand reaching for hers to lead her into the elevator.
"You know how I hate surprises," she said, looking up at him as the elevator started its decent.
Jack turned her, pushing her up against the wall of the elevator, his hands framing her face against the wall. His eyes met hers, "But I love doing special things for you and it's less special if it isn't a surprise." He raised an eyebrow, loving the stunned and breathless look on her face.
His nose brushed hers, his eyes asking permission to kiss her.
She reached up, her hand entwining in the back of his hair, her lips brushing against his, tantalizing him. "Well then, it better be good, Frost."
She gave him a quick peck on the corner of his lips, then ducked under the encasing of his arms, successfully escaping right as the door opened. Jack, having none of this, chased her out of the elevator, grabbed her from behind, spun her around and kissed her passionately, one arm hard against her waist and the other on the nape of her neck.
He pulled away after a moment, pleased at the surprise on her face and the longing in her eyes. He released his hold on her, but grabbing her hand and intertwining their fingers. "Come on, dearest. We have a date to get to. But if you are a good girl, there is more where that came from." He winked at her, chuckling at the annoyed look she gave him.
As they walked out the door of her building, she began to look for his motorcycle, surprised when she didn't see it.
He led her up to a car, a convertible, no less.
"What happened to your bike?" she asked, confused.
"It's sitting at home for the night. For what I have planned, I needed a car. Luckily, Hiccup was willing to comply. He has been wanting to get a bike and was happy with the evening to test drive it."
Elsa looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "Why do you need a car, Frost?" danger was in her voice.
Jack chuckled. "Get your mind outta the gutter, Princess. As much as I would love the idea of ravishing you in the back of the convertible, that's not the purpose. Unless you want it to be…" his eyes danced.
Elsa just laughed, "You wish." She was ushered into the vehicle by Jack, smiling because he opened the door for her.
He ran around the car, ignoring the door and jumping into the driver seat. "Come on, love. I have an adventure planned for us."
I love Elsa's outfit and want it. I have something similar, but have been unable to locate a blue crop top lace top. I did just get a new cobalt shirt though! It's my favorite color :D I have matching streaks in my hair. Anyways, I love they way these two banter. :D It just makes me happy. I hope you all enjoyed it too :D
Thank you all for your constant support! After the next chapter, we will start ramping up the competition end. Lots of dancing, lots of competition, and quite a bit of drama :D
Review time! Thank you all for reviewing and I'm sorry for not replying last chapter:
GoudelPrincess: Thank you for your review! There will be more dancing to come, so that will be good :D
OoPoPcAnDy: I'm glad it was effective! They will be important later on :D
disneyobsessionist: Hahaha, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the songs. I really debated over what songs because I can't write unless I can see it in my head. It took a while, but I was happy! I'm glad you were too :D Sorry to make you wait a week...
Randomperson: Yes, I do choreo! I've been dancing since I was in kindergarden and have been choreographing for the past five or so years. I actually just got a job teaching a class for theater and helping choreograph their production of The Little Mermaid! super excited. :D And yes, good grammer is a must. I am human and do mistakes, but it pisses me off when I don't have good grammer. It is a necessity! So feel free to point out any bad grammer, cause it would drive me crazy otherwise. I hope you had a good week! Siren, out
NAndM: Hi! I am technically a Sophomore in college, but because I take so many classes (Music Major) and came in with credits, I'm considered a Junior. I will be in college for another two years though :P I appreciate that you realize that I have a lot of responsibilities! I would like to write more often, but I do have a lot. And I do love music. Haha it's my major :D Thank you for the song suggestions! I don't promise much, because I have to actually see the dance in my head, but I'll definitely check them out. Thanks!
Silvernmist: Thank you so much! I hope you keep reading. :D
Have a good week everyone!
xoxoxoxo,
Siren
