Hi guys! I hope you all had a fantastic week. I had a very busy, but very good week! All of my classes are assigning big projects that are going to be fun, but time consuming. So I'm excited but preparing for little sleep :D This chapter is more of a set up for the competition, but next week, we are going to have the party (some dramaaaaaa) and check in on some of our other favorite characters. So stick with me this week and it will have more action next week.

Disclaimer: Soon, my friends...

The dubstep music was pouring through the speakers, the chatter and excitement of the room was building. Elsa watched with open eyes, observing everything. She saw Puss greet someone from a different crew, his eyes laughing and face lighting up with a smirk as he taunted them. She saw Vanessa flirting with a guy, knowing that she was probably gathering information about the guy's crew. She watched as Jack lifted his face to the dancing lights, eyes closed, as he allowed the music to pour into his soul and renew him.

Jack's eyes popped open and he turned to meet her staring gaze. Elsa blushed and looked down, embarrassed to be caught staring. Jack chuckled and slung an arm around her waist, pulling her closer.

"Are you ready for this, Princess?" His breath tickled her ear.

She squirmed at the sensation and pulled away, "I thought we said no PDA here. And yes. I was born ready!" She put on her determined face and smiled up at him.

Jack put his arm back around her and buried his face in her hair, "but it's so hard... I just always want to hold you."

Elsa smiled up at him sweetly, "Darling, I know. But I'm not quite ready to announce it to all these people I don't know! Also, it's better for us to both be 'single' because it attracts more attention. Meg said that people will probably 'ship' us after seeing our first dance. We can give them something to look at when we make it to Nationals."

Jack laughed, "'When we make it to Nationals...' That's my girl!" He grinned at her and fought the urge to smack a kiss on her cheek.

The music dimmed and the hosts, Rose and Fred, sauntered out onto the stage.

"Helloooooooo crews!" Rose's voice cut through the chatter. The multitude of people started cheering loudly.

"Alright, alright! Everyone find their seats." Fred cut the cheering off after a few moments.

"How are you all doing tonight? Ready to hear the events?" Rose asked, strutting across the stage.

She was greeted with more cheers.

Frank chuckled a little, "This year, we decided to do eliminations. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night, after the big event, there will be an elimination round. Saturday night, we will eliminate only five groups, because you can always get off on the wrong foot the first day. Sunday night, ten crews will be sent home, leaving ten to compete for the three places to Nationals."

"Now the eliminations will be mostly based on judge's scores, but the people watching can text in their votes at the end of the night. This will be twenty-five percent, I repeat, twenty-five percent of the score! So get out there and whip up some fans!" Rose added.

Fred continued, "We aren't going to read through all the various competitions. Sheets with all the information will be handed out to each crew while we finish this meeting. But the evening events are worth announcing." A group of people helping with the event were pouring into the isles to hand out a small packet to the crew captains.

Rose started bouncing in excitement, "These are going to be so great guys! Tomorrow night is obviously the crew competition. We gotta give you all a chance to show off as a crew before we boot people, right?" She chuckled.

"Sunday night, the big event is going to be an unjudged night. Each of the twenty remaining groups can put whatever they want on the stage for three minutes. Like all big events, this will be broadcasted, so this will be mainly for building your fan base with people that aren't able to attend. You could do any solos, duets, or groups you have prepared with a dance."

Rose added, "And Monday night, right before the reveal, is a surprise. It's mainly to see how well a duet from your crew can dance without much prior preparation. We will text the crew captain the prompt and details exactly an hour before our call time for the big event. You will have that hour to prep and prepare a duet that meets the criteria exactly. And after that is the award ceremony!"

Jack leaned over to Elsa and whispered, "That's smart. They want to do that so they can really highlight the crews with good teamwork and talented dancing. You can't do much in an hour, so it really boils down to talent."

Elsa nodded in agreement. "Brilliant idea. Depending on the style, we have some great duet powerhouses that have been working together for a while. So we will be set." She smiled up at him. They both turned to focus on the stage again.

There were a few other announcements, Jack was handed his schedule, and then they were dismissed and reminded to go to the party later. Jack held the schedule out of the reach of the curious eyes of the rest of the crew, urging them to wait until they got back to their rooms.

A few minutes later they were all seated around the girls' living room, drinks in hand.

Jack finally opened the folder containing the schedule, scanning it quickly and looked up with his signature grin.

Puss pumped a fist in the air, "Yes! That's a good sign."

Jack laughed, "Heck yes! We are going to smoke this. Okay, Elsa are you ready?"

Elsa nodded, ready to take notes and assign people. Her notes from earlier were within reach.

"Good. So it says that of the eight possible competitions every day, we have to compete in six of them. But two competitions each day are duplicates and we have to pick one. So honestly, it's just to give us options. From eight to ten every morning, we have a studio blocked off for our crew to share to prep different things. Then Block One is from 10AM 12PM, Block Two is from 1PM to 3PM, Block Three is 3:30PM to 5:30PM. There is a break for dinner and a blocked off studio from then until the Big Event at 8PM. There are studios and rooms open from 7AM to midnight for us, but it's first come, first serve. And they encourage use to use everyone as much as possible. Apparently there are a hundred bonus points for using everyone each day, which is the same as getting a perfect score on a competition. Got that so far?"

The crew nodded in response, eagerly waiting for the events.

"Saturday: First block is a choice of Contemporary solo, Salsa duet, and a waltz duet. The Contemporary solo is a duplicate and also offered in Second Block, along with a Hip-Hop freestyle solo dance off. Oh, and the waltz duet is a duplicate, also in Third Block, along with a ballet solo and a four-person Hip-Hop routine."

Jack looked up from the list, "So since we don't have a specific four-person Hip-Hop prepared, strategically, those people should all be free at the same time during the day so they can choreograph or modify a prepared dance for that. Any takers?"

Elsa looked at the list, "Since we have a lot of good hip-hop dancers, maybe we should figure out the other events first, and those who are left can do the hip-hop."

Meg nodded, "Good idea. Because if I count right, that's eleven dancers total for the day, so if we are going for the hundred points, only one person can dance twice."

Jack smiled, "Nice. Good job catching that."

Elsa looked down at the list, "So it looks like either Marty, Ariel, or I have the Contemporary solo; And a salsa duet could be made of Meg, Vanessa, Puss, Jack, Marty, or I. What about waltz? Jack and I have something. But I know Giselle and Timon both know ballroom."

Giselle shook her head, "I don't think Timon and I or Jack and I could whip something up by ten. So let's put Elsa and Jack on that. Besides," She grinned, "you two have such great chemistry!"

Jack nodded, "We could do our dance to 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perry."

Giselle and Ariel were practically squealing with the cuteness of it.

Elsa laughed, "Okay, okay. Sounds good. And we can pick if that's first block or third depending. I think the next hard one is contemporary. Ariel, want to take that one?"

Ariel nodded, "Yea! I have a great one planned to 'Part of Your World.' Could you help me with it tomorrow morning, though Elsa?"

Elsa grinned and wrote it down, "Of course! And I'm assuming you want that one during first block so you can see the hip-hop freestyle?" Ariel nodded. Elsa continued, "So that leaves the salsa duet. Anyone got that?"

Puss raised his hand, "Vanessa and I were working on something to 'Fireball' by Pitbull. It's pretty amazing."

"Yea, let's send our big guns in day one." Jack agreed.

"Giselle, do you want to do the ballet solo? I know you had something. Otherwise, I could do it, but you would have to be in one of the hip-hop competitions." Elsa asked.

"I got it! I have a classic from Swan Lake worked up. It will be amazing." Her green eyes were flashing in excitement.

Jack looked over Elsa's shoulder, "So that leaves the hip-hop dance off and the four man group. And Meg, Simba, Timon, and Marty don't have anything yet. Do one of you want to do the freestyle?"

Simba looked up, "I got it. I just finished learning some new breakdancing tricks and am good at improv."

Timon agreed, "Out of all of us, I think he is the best shot at that. Unless you want to do it Jack."

Jack shook his head, "Nah. It would be hard to go from waltz to freestyle. You can do it Simba!"

Elsa looked over her sheet. "So that means Meg, Timon, and Marty have to do the four man group. Who else wants to join them?"

Jack thought for a moment, "Why don't you join them Simba? That way you all have the first block off and can work on that. It would be cool to do a piece with one girl. Maybe to some girl power thing with Meg tramping all over you."

Meg smirked, "That doesn't sound too bad at all."

The other boys agreed and started discussing songs. They settled on revamping the dance to "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry that the girls had done for an event earlier that month and changing some of the choreo.

"And for big group, we are supposed to do the same crew number we did last time. So maybe during the open block we could work on it for a bit. Let's say right at 5:45 so we don't dance with full bellies." Jack said. Everyone nodded.

Elsa looked at the schedule for the next day over Jack's shoulder. "Do we want to look at Sunday so people with free time tomorrow can prep?"

The next thirty minutes went on like this, assigning parts for the different competitions. Elsa was dancing broadway Jazz with Ariel and Simba, Vanessa was going to have an awesome hip-hop solo, and Marty and Elsa were teaming up again to do a contemporary solo.

The crew decided that Elsa was going to do the "Crew's choice" Big Event to get her out there. Jack suggested that she did the Hip-Hop dance she choreographed to "Body Language" by Kid Ink, and after watching it, the crew agreed. Elsa had finished it and added some tricks to make it a bit more fun.

Giselle pumped her fist into the air. "We are so gonna rock this!"

Check back in next week for the party! Some great drama to come. I hope you all have a wonderful week :D

Thank you all for following, favoriting, and reviewing! Please keep doing so; I love to hear what you think. Also, if there are any of these competitions stated that you REALLY want to see here, let me know. Otherwise, I will probably just do a few of the dances or just say how they did. So let me know what of the dances listed in this chapter you want to see!

Review time!

OoPoPcAnDy: Aren't canoodle buddies the best?!

Randomperson: Good job listening to your mom! I know a lot of teens that don't do that, but I think it's important to have a good relationship with your mother. Keep writing, and I look forward to the day you post :D I hope I will still be on Fanfic by then, because I'm sure I want to read it! And that was a typo... I must have been going to fast and added the 'y' and the 'they' was supposed to be 'their.' Oh well! Thank you for catching that :D

Disneyobsessionist: I think that we should tell them! Maybe the like button could be a thing. And thank you, dancing in front of people is actually really fun :D I prefer to dance for myself though, but performing always gives you a thrill.

bluelily21: Thank you so much! I haven't listened to it yet, but I love dubstep and choreographing to dubstep, so I'm sure I will :D Thanks!

GoudelPrincess: Thank you! I love doing descriptions, so it's good to know I do them well :D And I put their waltz to A Thousand Years just for you ;D

Elemental-hime: Thank you very much :D It's good to know that a fellow dancer is enjoying it! Thank you very much for the suggestions, and I will definatly look into them. I love the idea of using "Love Me Harder;" it would make a great Rumba song! Thank you very much
