Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I promise that it's just because I've been busy! I'm working two jobs and they have both had huge events in the past few weeks. I literally worked 6:30am to anywhere between 9 and 11pm, five days in a row, last week. Just between that and trying to get a start on some summer projects (budgeting, unpacking and organizing my room, figuring out stuff with my roommates next year, projects for mom...), I haven't had a ton of time.

Just always remember that I have an Epilogue in mind. I can't just quit! I'd say this story has about five more chapters and an Epilogue... It's sad, but I am happy to be completing my first story on Fanfic!

Disclaimer: I own nothing... yet ;D

They had done it.

Elsa smiled at her celebrating team mates, euphoria lifting her spirits higher. They were going to Nationals!

Her and Jack's salsa had gotten them almost full points, beating the Demigods by three points and landing them in first for the day's competition and second overall. The Demigods still had a one-up from the past two days, but they had managed to catch up.

The group was celebrating. Once again, they would go to Nationals and compete for an opportunity to go to the World competition in Rome!

She laughed as Jack picked her up and swung her around, his enthusiasm contagious. Even though they had made it to Nationals last year, they had come in third with a twenty point gap between them and the second place winners and the Demigods, who had come in first. This year, they were two points behind the Demigods and there was a thirty point gap to the third place winners. All of their skill had greatly improved and the team connection seemed to be the greatest it had ever been.

Elsa believed they had a chance to go to the World competition. And from the look on Jack's face, he did too.

They could do anything.

Elsa burst through the door to her apartment, her bag falling off her arm as she tried to pull her keys from the door. She was suddenly attacked by two flying blurs, their cries of "Elsaaaaa!" echoing in her ears.

She looked up and made eye contact with a smirking Merida, who called off the loving girls, "Lassies, if you don't get off Elsa, she will keel over." Merida leaned forward and pulled the falling bag off Elsa's arm as the two sheepish girls withdrew.

Anna's grin split her face, bouncing with Rapunzel in excitement, "You did it! You are going to Nationals!"

Elsa laughed, "Now we just have to get to the World competition, and then it will actually be a feat!" The two excited girls grabbed her hand and dragged her to the couch where they held all their pow-wows.

Right before the onslaught of questions ensued, Elsa held up her hands and cut them off, "Now before I tell you about Regionals, did anything exciting happen while I was gone?"

Both Rapunzel and Anna smirked and whipped their heads to Merida, who was uncharacteristically blushing. "Hiccup and I might be dating…" she mumbled.

"And he spent the night!" Anna chimed in.

"And was shirtless!" Punzie smirked.

"It's not like that guys," Merida grumbled.

Elsa, after getting over the initial shock, started giggling, "Tables turned, huh Mer? I'm glad you finally accepted your feelings for him, and his for you."

"Me too! They are super cute together," Punzie gushed. "Now we just have to get Anna and Kristoff together and everything will be perfect!"

Elsa whipped her head to her sister, who was blushing and bumbling out excuses, "It's not that… I don't think he… He would never… It wasn't a date!"

Elsa laughed at her sister's excuses. "Come on, Anna. We all know you like him. And I have a feeling he likes you too!"

Anna perked up, "You really think so?"

Punzie cut in, "Duh! He is a bumbling idiot around you and obviously cares for you and he doesn't seek out any other girl to hang out with alone!"

Elsa smirked, "Though he is too shy to say something."

Anna rolled her eyes, "I know! The reason I doubt he likes me is because if he was gonna ask me out, then he would have already! He has had so many opportunities."

Merida cocked an eyebrow, "He's intimidated, lass."

Anna whipped her head to Merida, "Intimidated?"

Merida snorted, "Yea. You're stunningly beautiful, independent, and have proved that you can kick a guy's ass in front of him. He was there when you socked Hans, remember? And the aftermath? He knows that you can handle yourself."

Elsa cut in, "Plus, he is probably waiting for you to get over your breakup. It has only been like two months."

Anna scoffed, "That's stupid. I was over Hans like the day after. He's a douche-nozzle."

Elsa put a hand over her sisters, "He's likely waiting for you to emotionally heal. Most girls would be hesitant to trust a guy that quickly after a situation like that. Kristoff wants to be your friend first so you trust him and know his character before he makes a move."

"Although, I think he might be too nervous to make a move," Punzie fake-whispered to them, causing everyone to laugh.

Anna let it all register and then summed it up, "So he is nervous and wants to make sure I'm ready before asking me out; that makes sense. So I just need to show him I'm ready?"

"Or make the first move yourself," Merida smirked.

Elsa jumped as a silver-hair blur burst through her door and tackled her onto her bed. She looked up at Jack's smirking face, "Why, hello there. It feels like it's been forever since you've done this."

Jack wrapped his arms around her slender waist and buried his face into her neck. Her hands automatically embraced him, one rubbing circles on his back and the other tangled in his hair. "That's 'cause the past weekend has felt like months. I missed moments like these, Princess," His breath tickled her neck.

Elsa sighed as his comforting presence washed over her. "We will have plenty of these moments to make up for it." He responded by pulling her tighter against him and cuddling further into her neck.

They laid there for a moment, enjoying the tender mood.

"So three weeks, huh?" She asked him.

"Yeah, we have three weeks to get ready for nationals."

She threw her head back in disgust, "Ugh, we have finals the week before though."

Jack chuckled, "I'm just glad it is in the beginning of winter break so we don't have to worry about catching up on lectures."

"It's pretty cool to be traveling for break, even if it is only for three days."

Jack pulled up from his place in her neck to smirk down at her and press a quick kiss to her cheek, "You mean we are going to Rome for a week after Christmas!"

Elsa giggled at his enthusiasm, "We need to make it to the World Competition first."

"What you mean to say is, 'I can't wait to watch the fireworks over the Coliseum on New Year's Eve with you Jack!'"

Elsa giggled at his falsetto, "I do not sound like that."

Jack rolled them over, ignoring her squeak of surprise, so she was laying on top of his chest, her head tucked under his chin. "You so do, and it's adorable."

Meg looked around her, taking in all the sights of Washington, D.C. as they walked out of the airport. She breathed a sigh of relief; finals were over, the crazy practices were over, the stress of packing was over. All she had to do now was just perform her best!

A sleepy looking Giselle walked next to her, holding her neck pillow and tugging her suitcase, half of her hair mussed from sleeping on the plane. Simba came up behind her and took her suitcase to load it into the van that had been sent to pick them up and bring them to the hotel. Ariel was bouncing around, looking at everything, while Vanessa was trying to calm her down. Timon and Marty were trying to tetris their luggage into the back of car until Elsa came up and directed them so everything fit. Jack was talking with the driver to go over details and compare information.

Meg smirked to herself; all in a typical day.

Except here they were, at Nationals!

And they were gonna rock the socks off everyone.
