First Impression

The first time Alistair saw her, he was in the middle of a dispute. Not his best side. Although, he got in a few snarky remarks. At least he came off as witty. He hoped.

She was striking. He'd never seen eyes that color before. A strange, deep shade of blue – almost purple. He gaped at her a moment, impressed that such a beautiful woman might actually become a full-fledged Grey Warden and looking forward to the prospect. But then she began talking.

Dear Maker, he hoped Duncan knew what he was doing. This woman did not want to be here. And what's more, she didn't seem to want to know anything about the Grey Wardens, the darkspawn, the Blight, the Joining – none of it. He offered to answer any questions she might have, and she just laughed at him and asked if he had to accompany her. 'I promise not to embarrass you," he said wryly and followed along after her.
