Hey, this chapter is extra long to make up for the delay. Thank you very much to everyone for reading and all of the great reviews!

Thank you to: Beuty6, lizardmomma, and for reviewing. I always look forward to your reviews.

Mony19: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have some fun plans for the Source and Barbas.

Mrs. Marie Woods-Winchester: Thanks for reading and responding! I always loved those aspects of Barbas too. There's a lot you can do there.

A/N: There will be a demon in this chapter that shows up a little earlier than in the show for creative purposes. I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Andy and Prue were tangled together in the sheets. Prue let out a deep sigh as Andy's fingers traced along her arm. She smiled at the sensation of his other hand making its way to her stomach. She could feel the small movements her son was making within her.

"I wonder how it all happened the first time …"Prue bit her lip. "Or, in Chris' time. I guess it isn't the past".

Andy shook his head. "We're with your sisters this time. It's a good different".

Prue smiled and leaned in even closer to him.

"I can't believe the little guy in here grows up to be the amazing man we've met".

"Me too" Andy whispered, kissing the top of her head. "He's a lot like his mother".

"I wonder if he has any siblings …"

"He's pretty tight lipped about the future in terms of family" Andy laughed. "I'd be curious to know if I ever manage to get you to marry me".

Prue lifted herself up off the bed slightly to look at him.

"Andrew Trudeau, I don't think a wedding would be very easy on an abandoned warrior island. Just like it isn't very easy when you're not sure how long you get to stay on the physical plane … I could be a ghost soon".

Andy's smile disappeared.

"Prue, we will figure all of that out" he soothed. "What's important is that you're here now, and we clearly found a way to do it before".

"Yes … but only on an island where our son had to stay hidden. That's not a good life, Andy".

Andy pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"I'm here now too. And yes, because the ultimate battle is arriving sooner … but we will figure it out. We always do".

Prue's head dipped slightly and she flashed him a smile.

"Plus, Chris did slip last night that our souls are connected … you're stuck with me wherever I go". Andy laughed.

"And what if my pull ends up being stronger?" Prue whispered. She knew that if she was going up against the Source, he would go after more than just her life this time. Ending her physical life didn't work last time. She was worried about what else he could do. It also made her worry what would happen to Andy if so.

Andy closed his eyes and leaned in for a gentle kiss.

"Chris!" Piper's voice rang through the house.

The couple pulled apart and Prue's eyebrow raised. She ran to grab a soft white house coat and made her way to the door with Andy following behind, stopping to pull jeans and a t-shirt on.

Living Room

"Chris!" Piper Halliwell yelled upwards. She then looked down to the floor. "Chris, you have to come back eventually".

Prue and Andy trailed down the stairs with Paige following behind. The young whitelighter-witch still had her hair sticking up in many directions from her sleep.

"What's going on?" Prue asked, raking a hand through her hair.

"Your son is avoiding me since Barbas' attack" she accused, looking around the room.

"Piper, that's silly. He's looking for Barbas".

Piper turned to her sister with pleading eyes and let out a deep sigh.

"He knows something about Wyatt … and I need to know too".

Phoebe emerged from the kitchen, clutching a cup of coffee.

"Sweetie, Chris is either busy with Barbas or sleeping" she defended her nephew. She knew Chris was only trying to avoid breaking Piper's heart.

"Where's Wyatt?" Paige asked with a hoarse voice. It was still morning. Her mind was still groggy from waking up.

"I dropped him off at daycare. I'm going in to the club later once I figure out what's going on". She turned on her heels towards the kitchen. "And I will figure it out".

Andy cleared his throat, placing his gentle but strong hands on Prue's shoulders. She looked up towards him and saw a familiar blue glow come from the top of the stairs.

"I guess I have time to go put clothes on then" she lied, holding her housecoat closed. She ran up the stairs and followed Chris into the bedroom she shared with Andy.

"So you are avoiding your Aunt …" She pointed an accusing finger that only a mother could give. She had a lot of practise with her sisters over the years.

Chris rubbed the back of his neck.

"Not exactly" he sighed. "I was out tracking Barbas. I thought I almost had him once".

Prue looked up and down at the young man. His eyes were heavy and the bags under his eyes let her know how busy he had been.

"You need to sleep" she ordered, pointing to the bed.

"No, I need to find out what Barbas knows before he tells anyone".

"Chris..." Prue grabbed his arm to make sure he was looking at her directly. "If Barbas knows about me, we can assume he isn't the only one".

Just then, Piper stormed into the room.

"Oh! There you are!" Piper huffed as she stared Chris up and down. She turned to Prue with a raised eyebrow. "Hiding twenty-two year olds?"

Prue raised her hands up.

"Piper, he just got here". She stepped closer to her son protectively. "He's been following Barbas all night and hasn't slept".

"Well he can sleep when he tells me what happens to Wyatt in the future" Piper's voice raised. Phoebe and Andy followed in behind, stopping at the doorway.

Chris held his posture tightly. He took in a deep breath. He couldn't break his Aunt's heart, and he could barely speak about it without falling apart either.

"Well?" Her tone became rather aggressive. "You can't orb away shortly after screaming my son's name due to Barbas".

Chris' lips tightened. He pressed his green eyes tightly together, trying not to show his emotions. He focused on blocking his emotions from Phoebe. Once he was confident he had done so, he opened his eyes. His mother was standing even closer to him.

"Piper, he barely speaks to me about the future. Can't you see his pain?" Prue deferended.

"And why is that? You say you need to change the future … why else would you risk the dangers of time travel other than to save your cousin?"

Chris bit his tongue. His fists formed into tight balls.

"I know what I'm doing … You don't need to know what happens".

Piper turned to see Phoebe's breathing get heavier and heavier. She knew her sister was beginning to feel some of Chris' emotions.

"I need to know how to protect my son" she pleaded. "If something is going to happen … I need to know".

"No you don't" Chris added with misty eyes. The phone began to ring but no one answered it. It rang once … and then again.

After two rings, it stopped.

Phoebe placed a gentle hand on Piper's shoulder.

"Sweetie, sometimes we just aren't meant to know certain things".

"Piper!" Paige called from downstairs. "It's Wyatt's pre-school".

Piper eyed her nephew cautiously before turning on her heel and heading for the phone.

Once she was gone, Chris let out a deep sigh. Phoebe gave a loving pat on his back,

"You're a good kid, but you don't have to hide from us. We can take what you're hiding".

Chris blinked, looking to his aunt and mother.

"I don't think she can". Suddenly, he was able to sense something from Barbas again. His eyes darted to his mother. "I'll be back".

After less than a second, he orbed away.

"Ohhh, Piper's not going to be happy …" Andy finally spoke from the corner.

Underworld

"How is it possible that you still haven't managed to find a way into the Halliwell Manor?" Barbas seethed, rolling his eyes at two demons that stood before him. "You're upper level demons! I managed to tap into their fear from outside."

The demons had pale skin similar to the Grimlocks, but their eyes were completely white. Rigor demons hoped to feed off of spirits and angelic souls were perfect for that.

"We need to touch the witch to feed off of her magic … we cannot lurk in the darkness". The taller of the two demons spoke first.

"The magic they have used is something we have never seen before".

Barbas lifted a finger to his chin while he thought. He flashed his yellow teeth at the duo.

"Yes … yes it is".

He disappeared with a quick shimmer leaving the two demons to wonder. Less than a few moments after he disappeared, blue orbs began to filter into the room.

The two demons came face to face with Chris Halliwell. He lifted his arm to send them flying, but they flamed out as soon as he materialized fully.

Chris closed his eyes but couldn't sense any of them with all of the demonic activity surrounding him.

Living Room

"Hmm, that was Wyatt's pre-school" Piper whispered, placing the phone back down on the small table by the closet.

"Is everything okay?" Paige asked.

"Yeah … But they wanted to let me know that he's talking to himself all of the time there".

Paige scrunched her face.

"But Wyatt doesn't really talk much at home … or at all".

"I know … I thought it was normal since he's only a year and a half old".

"And it is". Phoebe added, coming down the stairs with Prue and Andy. Andy held Prue's hand as she took each step a little less comfortably with her small belly.

Piper smiled at her sister's piece of information. Phoebe bit her lip.

"But it's odd that he's talking to himself … but not us at home".

"What if it's Leo?" Piper asked excitedly. Prue tightened her grip on Andy's hand. She hated seeing Piper and her son go through what they had already been through as children.

"Maybe it is" Phoebe added.

"One way to find out" Paige quipped, tilting her head upwards. "Leo!"

A few moments passed until her brother-in-law and former whitelighter orbed into the room.

"Paige, you called?" His voice was very calm and pleasant. He had a vacant stare with a large smile.

Once he looked around at the others in the room, his face hardened.

"Is everything okay?" His voice was serious now.

"We're getting by" Phoebe laughed. She watched as Leo looked around the Manor, seeing the magical barrier for evil. His eyes widened.

"We're taking some … extra precautions". Piper added, her eyes darting over to Prue's stomach. Leo's gaze followed.

"Prue … Now I see why there's a barrier. Congratulations".

"Thank you" Prue smiled. She could see how worried her brother in law was.

"Is this why you asked me to come here? I can't help any more with hiding her than this barrier".

"No, Leo..." Piper stepped closer to him. "I need to know if you've been contacting Wyatt".

Leo shook his head and dropped it low.

"I thought it would be easier if I stayed away for a little bit".

"Well then who's talking to our son?" She asked rather aggressively.

"What makes you think it's someone and not himself?" Phoebe asked, her brow furrowed in concern.

"Because he isn't doing it at home …" Paige jumped in this time. "Think about it … He isn't doing it at home because Chris has a magical barrier".

She looked over to Piper who was still trying to process everything. Leo wrapped an arm around her.

"She's right" Chris added, orbing into the room. "It would have to be someone magical if so".

Leo turned to look at who he thought was still just the whitelighter from the future.

"And how would you know that?" He asked with an accusing tone. The worried father had been out of the loop the last few months. He had no idea what Chris' true identity was and still didn't have complete trust in him.

"What are you trying to imply?" Chris's eyes widened. He always respected his uncle, but he didn't appreciate the tone. "I will always do everything to protect Wyatt … I would never hurt him"

"How do I know that?' Leo responded with a stiff facial expression.

"Leo!" Piper interrupted, but the Elder didn't have the patience to stop. He looked over to the mother of his child.

"No Piper, I need to know why this kid came back from the future truly" he seethed. The whole family stared in shock as the passive man was overcome with anger. "I have missed the last few months of my son's life because the Elders were killed and the Source is returning. Chris accelerated the timeline, and I'm still not too sure why he did it".

"Leo …" Paige tried to catch his attention, but he was too focused. Andy's breathing was getting faster and faster and his jaw line tense. She looked over to her nephew who looked even worse. She could see he was trying to hold so many things in.

"How do I know that you didn't just come back to cause trouble? How do I know you're not the one after Wyatt? You did come here not too long after his birth after all".

"Leo!" Prue yelled, releasing herself from Andy's comfort. "That's enough".

Chris placed a gentle hand on his mother's shoulder, stepping in front of her. He stayed as calm as possible, but his emotions began to take over.

"You want to know how you can trust me?" He advanced towards the Elder until he was only inches away from his face. "Because even after he destroyed my family I am back here … saving him instead of…"

He stopped himself there. He has already let too much slip. He looked over to Piper. Her hand had made it's way to cover her mouth in shock. She took several steps back and Paige placed a loving arm behind her.

"... Instead of killing him". Phoebe finished for him. All eyes were on her, except Prue. She was looking at her son, trying to read him. "I saw in my vision that you're magically connected".

Chris nodded, looking back at Leo.

"There are worse things than an accelerated future" he whispered. "Believe me".

He looked over to his mother with gentle, loving eyes and then back to Piper.

"I'll see if I can find out who is contacting him".

With that he orbed away, leaving them to process.

Phoebe looked over to her brother in law. She hadn't thought about how the space from Piper and Wyatt would hurt him as well, but he was still out of line taking it out on Chris.

Prue grabbed Andy's hand and motioned towards the stairs. He nodded and the couple went up the stairs. The room remained quiet until Paige spoke.

"I'll go get Wyatt and bring him back here" she nodded before orbing away.

Phoebe's eyes jumped up to Leo.

"Leo, Chris is Prue's son".

Leo's eyes widened as he looked over to his pale wife. Phoebe gave Piper's hand a squeeze before leaving to go upstairs as well.

"I didn't know…"

Piper's eyes lifted to reveal a heated gaze.

"Right now, we have to worry about our son. He is the evil that takes over after the Source".

Leo let out a deep sigh and raked his fingers through his short dirty blonde hair.

Attic

Prue was leaning over the table holding a scrying crystal while Andy paced around the room. He had known that Wyatt from the future had cast the spell on the athame that affected Prue and Chris' powers, but he had hoped there was another explanation.

It all made sense now. Why else would he risk so much?

"Got him!" Prue grinned. "Now let's go get him so Chris can sleep".

Phoebe turned to look at her sister.

"Barbas? Already?"

"Yeah … It seems suspicious but there's so many of us and only one of him".

Paige walked into the attic at the same time.

"Wyatt's catching up with Leo. What did I miss?"

"We may have found Barbas".

"Worth a shot. We need to get to him before he says something".

"... Unless he already has" Andy mumbled from the corner.

"We should go now" Prue added, looking over to her sisters. "We can bring him back here".

"You don't get to leave, remember?" Piper and Leo tip-toed into the attic together. Leo held on to Wyatt tightly, enjoying his time with his son.

"Prue, you need to stay here so the Elders don't find out about you".

Prue bit her lip.

"I think you and Piper need some time to talk".

"We did … and we will more" he sighed, looking into his son's innocent eyes. "We can change Chris' future. And to start, I need to apologize to him … and help him".

"Now that we know he doesn't have to do this alone" Piper added, pulling Prue into a tight hug.

"You need to stay with Wyatt and rest up. I don't need another reason for to dislike the Elders" she laughed.

Prue smiled at her younger sister. Having Leo around was already calming her down.

Leo placed Wyatt in the playpen and looked over to the map. He grabbed Piper's hand while Paige grabbed Phoebe's. Andy took a look at the map and nodded to Leo before the five of them disappeared into blue and white lights.

One Hour Later

Prue placed Wyatt onto the floor in the Conservatory along with all of his toys before sitting on the loveseat with her book. She looked down at her watch and noted the time. It had been an hour since they left and she was beginning to get worried.

Outside the window, the upper level demon Vicus stood waving at Wyatt. Vicus was mostly known for his specialty of changing Wiccan children from good to evil.

Wyatt looked out at the man standing in the garden. He opened his leather jacket to reveal a small toy car. Wyatt's eye's lit up with delight.

"Car!" he squealed, holding his hands up. This instantly triggered his aunt's attention. Prue turned to look out the window and saw nothing. She looked back at her nephew. He was looking out the window innocently now.

"Wyatt sweetie, what do you see?" She awkwardly shifted her position closer to him, placing a hand on his tiny shoulder. She was still getting used to her growing stomach.

"Wyatt buddy … you have to orb to me" Vicus said through the stained glass. One of his powers allowed him to be invisible. Only Wyatt was able to see or hear him. "I can't come in so you'll have to orb to me".
