Mony19, I added in the midnight part since it was in the show but then added more about it in this chapter for my own preference. I'm more of a Prue/Andy girl (clearly haha) but I try to give the other couples some time too. Paige will get some more time soon too.

Underworld

The darklighter let out a deep growl as the arrow was pulled out of his chest.

"Nice plan" a fellow demon hissed.

"It worked, didn't it?" He defended, pulling himself into a sitting position.

"Not yet it hasn't. Not until the Elder comes after you". The demon applied a salve onto the darklighter's wound. "I mean, now that he knows you're after him ... won't he think it's too dangerous?"

The darklighter shook his head before pulling his shirt back over his head.

"Not this Elder. He's blinded by fatherhood, by his unwavering desire to protect his son. That's why we've been sent after him" he chuckled. "He'll come. But he won't be immune to the poison. I'll need a dozen more for later".

"They're being forged as we speak".

"Just remember we're only supposed to distract the witches, not harm them. They're not the target this time. The Elder is".

"Right. They mustn't be harmed until the Rigor demons can go after the eldest".

The demon nodded and smiled.

"But the one who hired us can't know. He'll take her from this world before we can get to her" he added. "Soon. When she is the most vulnerable".

Valhalla

Leo orbed into Gideon's bamboo hut and found the Elder scouring through books.

"Gideon".

"Leo, what a pleasant surprise" Gideon's smile crept up slowly. "How are you?"

"I've been better" he eyed the Elder in case he knew about Andy. "A darklighter attacked, I think he's after me."

He concentrated on trying to sense Andy in case there was a magical block on the island. There was still no sign of him even on Valhalla.

"Are you certain?"

"I don't know. He may be trying to get me out of the way to get to Wyatt" Leo wondered. "If it becomes too dangerous, can I bring him here?"

"Of course, absolutely".

"Alright, I better get back to the sisters to see if I can help."

"No, you shouldn't, you should go back up with the other Elders where you'll be safe". Gideon warned. Leo noticed something was different about the Elder today. They had known each other for many years.

"What about the darklighter?"

"It's not your responsibility, that's for the sisters to handle". Gideon's voice was assertive.

"Alright … well, I can't just sit around while someone is after my son. I'm a father now".

"No, you're an Elder now and it's time to start acting like one. Don't you see? You don't just put yourself at risk by staying here on earth, you put all Elders at risk too. If they catch you, they get access to us all".

"I know, but…"

"You can't justify staying here any longer. Not with this ... not anymore. You must cut the ties that bind for everyone's sake. I recently had a warrior learn that lesson".

Leo's interest peaked. He did not know if Gideon knew about Andy and Prue yet, it was still a secret.

"I can't. At least not until I know my son is safe" he replied. "What happened to the warrior?"

A sadistic smile crept up Gideon's face.

"He had to be sent away".

Leo's eyes widened.

"Was this Trudeau?"

Gideon nodded.

"I am not sure why but he was leaving the island. It is temporary while he learns his place". He pretended to be sympathetic for Andy. Each of the men in the conversation was trying to keep a secret. Gideon hoped to eliminate Wyatt, and he needed both Andy and Leo away for that.

Leo was trying to protect Chris and Prue. He knew that Gideon would tell the other Elders about Prue. He still trusted the Elder otherwise.

"I'm sorry. I need to protect my family". Leo orbed away quickly back to the Manor.

Manor

Phoebe, Paige and Piper stood over the wooden table scrying for the darklighter. Wyatt played happily in the playpen nearby when Chris orbed back into the room.

"Any luck?" Piper asked. Chris shook his head no.

"I can't sense him anywhere".

"We'll find him" Paige assured. "Don't worry".

"I think we may need to hurry" Prue's voice came from the doorway. The very pregnant witch made her way into the attic slowly with a slight waddle.

Piper made her way to Prue's side and gasped when she went to take her hand.

"Prue!" she shrieked, looking down at her sister's hand. It was no longer solid. She could see the attic floor through Prue's hand.

"Oh my God!" Phoebe added, rushing to her sister's side.

"It's okay. I feel fine" Prue assured.

"No, that definitely is not okay".

Leo orbed into the attic and looked at Prue.

"It's because Andy isn't on the physical plane anymore" he informed. "Their souls are linked …"

"What does that mean?" Piper's voice shook with anger and confusion.

"It means we have to find which spiritual realm Andy's on. Gideon sent him there."

"What?! Prue seethed, clenching her fists. Piper's hand began to rub her back in a soothing manner.

"He caught Andy leaving Valhalla. The good news is that he doesn't seem to know about you or baby Chris still".

"Oh, I'll kill him" she hissed.

"Prue, he's an Elder" Leo was quick to remind. "He thinks he's doing what's best".

"I'm sick of their rules and hiding from them".

Leo hung his head in shame, knowing that Prue was right.

Paige let out a gasp as the crystal dropped onto the map and began to spin all over the same spot.

"Oh! I think we got one … or more than one".

"Alright, let's go". Leo nodded, grabbing Piper's hand while Paige grabbed Phoebe's.

"I'll go too" Chris added, looking to the location on the map.

"No, you stay here with Prue and look into where Gideon could send Andy".

Chris nodded.

"And make sure she stays in bed!" Piper scolded as the four of them disappeared into blue and white orbs. Chris laughed and flashed a grin to his mother.

Alley

"Okay, since when to darklighters hang out in broad daylight like this?" Piper questioned, looking over to Leo. "It could be a trap ... maybe you should stay here".

"No, I'm the bait, remember? Besides, you may need my help.

"Well, I've got Phoebe in case we need to orb … you get Piper". Paige ordered her brother in law. Leo nodded, moving closer to Piper.

"Let's just do this" Phoebe added, looking down the alley way. "Okay … I don't see anything".

Paige gasped as a darklighter appeared on top of the building and pointed his crossbow directly at them. Piper was quick to react and blew her up but two more appeared right after her.

"You take Piper" Paige ordered to Leo. She grabbed Phoebe's hand and orbed to the top of the building with their darklighter vanquishing potions.

Leo watched as the two sisters threw a potion at both of the darklighters, vanquishing them. His eyes widened when he saw the darklighter that attacked them in the Manor appear behind Phoebe.

"Phoebe, watch out!" He yelled, but it was too late. The clairvoyant witch took a hit to the head and fell off of the building into a dumpster that broke her fall.

Taking advantage of the distraction, the darklighter orbed behind Piper and Leo.

"Behind you!" Paige yelled before orbing down to Phoebe.

Piper turned to see the darklighter behind them, smirking at Leo with his crossbow ready. She threw her arms forward to blow him up, but a large cloud of smoke surrounded the three of them.

Paige appeared beside Phoebe and watched as the cloud of smoke engulfed her sister, Leo and the darklighter. Within seconds all three of them had disappeared.

"Oh my god, you're bleeding" she whispered after looking down at Phoebe.

"Yeah. Uh, maybe we should get me to a hospital"

Ghostly Plane

"Phoebe? Paige? What's going on? Where'd everybody go?" Piper asked, looking around.

"I think we should get out of here" Leo warned, taking in their surroundings.

"No, not without Phoebe. She's hurt. Didn't you see her fall?"

"Yeah, but at least she's alive".

"What is that supposed to mean?" Piper questioned with her hands on her hips.

"I don't know, but I think that we need to get off the street while we figure this out. We're not on a physical plane".

"If Paige couldn't get to you, she'd take Phoebe to the hospital. Memorial's just down the street". Piper closed her eyes and concentrated on sensing her sisters but she couldn't feel them anywhere.

"We can't worry about them right now. We need to worry about us" Leo whispered, hearing footsteps nearby. The darklighter emerged from the street.

"You're not supposed to be here" he hissed with his eyes on Piper. She flicked her hands in a motion to blow him up, but nothing happened.

"C'mon" Leo urged, grabbing her hand and the two of them began to run away.

Hospital

Phoebe pulled her t-shirt over her head and began to rip off the hospital bracelet on her wrist.

"Are you sure I shouldn't go get Chris while you stay here and rest?" Paige asked, handing Phoebe her purse.

"Yes. It's just a concussion and Chris needs to figure out where Andy is and protect Prue while we find Piper".

"But Prue can help us".

"Exactly. She will help too much if she knows Piper is missing" Phoebe sent her younger sister a wink. It was hard to keep Prue out of trouble.

"Alright, but if you start acting funny you're going straight to bed" Paige teased, helping Phoebe up off of the bed.

The two sisters walked into the hallway. Paige wrapped her arm around Phoebe to keep her steady just in case.

They walked by a room where a man was being shocked back to life with the paddles. Phoebe closed her eyes and took a moment to give him respect. On the third shock, the man let out a gasp and began to breathe again. Phoebe smiled and nodded to Paige that they could keep moving now.

"Leo!" The man called out, catching their attention. The nurse beside him quickly covered his mouth with an oxygen mask and the girls couldn't hear him anymore.

"He just said Leo …" Phoebe bit her lip as she took the information in.

"He couldn't mean our Leo, could he?"

"I think he did … I mean, Piper would come here to look for us since she knew I was hurt".

"But Phoebe, we don't even know where they are".

"They're in the ghostly plane" Phoebe guessed. "They have to be if he saw them there".

"Prue can go to them. She's done it before".

"No". Phoebe was assertive. "We need to keep Prue out of this. Let's go home and find another way".

Paige nodded and they began making their way to the door but Phoebe stopped yet again.

"I can feel her… Piper's here".

"Here?" Paige tried to ignore the pang of jealousy that she felt. She couldn't sense Piper, just like she couldn't sense Prue when Piper could.

"Yeah … she's hurt too".

Paige closed her eyes and tried to sense Piper but she couldn't feel anything yet.

"... She's gone. I can't feel her anymore".

"Let's go home. We need to find a way to get to her".

Manor

Prue placed a book back on the bed and let out a sigh. The bed was covered with books that her and Chris were looking through.

"Should we try summoning him again?" Chris asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"No, he's not in the afterlife so it won't work again" Prue sighed again.

"Don't worry, we'll find him" Chris smiled.

"Since when are you so optimistic?" Prue smiled, looking over to her son.

Chris laughed and got up from the bed. He took a moment to reflect on everything that he hadn't been so positive about lately.

"I just feel like I've changed so many things for the worse and I still haven't saved Wyatt …"

"When Andy died he reminded me that everything happens for a reason". She reached over and grabbed the book of shadows. "I spent two years here without him and it was hard to believe that most of the nights".

Chris bit his bottom lip. Phoebe had told him only a little bit about Prue during those two years.

"I watched Piper and Phoebe find love … but I couldn't forget his smile, his voice". Tears began to form in Prue's green eyes. "But now, I'm here. I can feel this tiny baby moving around inside of me and I'm looking at who he turns out to be".

Chris began to blush.

"If I had to go through those years without him for this, then it's worth it. Just like all of this is worth it if we can save Wyatt".

Chris nodded and she flashed a smile at him.

"Here, let's get you to try scrying using yourself" Prue suggested, handing the crystal and map to Chris. "You're the best person to use to scry. You're his son. And his t-shirt clearly isn't working".

Chris' hand shook as he took the crystal from his mother's hand. He truly was worried about where Andy could be. The Elders could send him many places that would take Prue out of safety, or worse.

The crystal hovered above the map for only seconds before landing on the Manor.

"That doesn't make sense" Chris whispered. Prue bit her lip and contemplated. She would sense him if he was in the ghostly plane. She knew she would.

"It means there's hope" Prue insisted, looking down at the crystal that was covering their house on the map. Suddenly, footsteps could be heard from the attic.

"Prue! Chris!" Paige's voice rang through the house. Phoebe and Paige came barreling down the stairs and ran into the room. Prue could sense their urgency, but once they arrived at the door they tried to act calm.

"What's up?" Prue questioned, eyeing her sisters.

"Oh, we just need the Book of Shadows". Paige smiled, making her way to the bed and plucking the Book gently from Prue's hands.

"We'll be right back" Phoebe chirped, turning on her heels.

"Hold it!" Neither sister made it more than a few inches before Prue stopped them. She raised her hand that was faded even more than it had been earlier. "What's really going on?"

"Oh, nothing" Paige smiled, turning from her sister.

"Paige, I can tell when you're lying too" Prue laughed, squinting her eyes playfully.

Paige scrunched up her face at Phoebe and turned back to face her oldest sister.

"We have it under control" she assured, looking over to Phoebe for help. The now middle sister simply shrugged her shoulders. Paige bit her lip before finishing. "You keep looking for Andy and we'll fill you in when we're done researching".

Prue stared the two of them up and down, studying them. It was then that she could suddenly feel Piper. She was hurt and scared.

"Really? Then why can I feel Piper on the ghostly plane?" Prue asked in a sharp sisterly tone.

"I knew it!" Phoebe squeaked before covering her mouth. Prue's eyebrow raised and she instantly began to pull herself out of bed.

"Oh, what do you think you're doing missy!?" Phoebe pointed a finger at the telekinetic witch.

"You know what I'm doing Phoebe".

"But, Prue …" Phoebe tried to debate with her sister but there was no use.

"Do you have a better idea?" Prue asked. Phoebe shook her head no sheepishly. Chris stayed far away from the conversation, knowing not to get involved.

Ghostly Plane - Manor

Piper and Leo climbed the stairs to the attic, looking behind every few steps.

"So if this is the ghostly plane, why can I still get hurt?" Piper questioned, looking down at a small wound she received from the darklighter's arrow back at the hospital.

"The ghostly plane is a transition world. It's here to ease the transition between life and death. The physical still exists, it just co-exists with our world".

Piper paused at the attic door to take in the information.

"That's how Chris was able to be conceived here" Leo laughed, pushing the door to the attic open. "And it's why we're still in danger here".

"Lucky us … we're stuck here" Piper added with her hint of sarcasm. "That is until our friendly darklighter helps us move on permanently."

"Well, we're not gonna let that happen. We've been through a lot more than this" Leo smiled, turning to look right at his estranged wife.

"Have we?"

"Are you kidding? Ever since we met it's been one ordeal after the other" he laughed.

"Wow, you make it sound so romantic" she teased, allowing a smile to creep up his cheeks.

"That's not what I meant" he began. "I mean, look at everything we've been through, everything we've overcome. This is just one more thing. This isn't where it ends. I promise".

Piper bit her lip cautiously before realizing that she was caught in the moment. "Alright, so how do we get out of here?"

"I don't know. I figure the darklighter has a way … maybe a portal".

"Masked by the explosion?"

"Maybe. Although somebody must be helping him with a hell of a lot more powers than a darklighter. We'll need your sister's' powers to access the portal".

"What are we supposed to do, haunt them?" Piper asked defeated.

"Pretty much" Leo chuckled.

"No need for that" Prue's voice chimed in. Piper ran to her sister and pulled her into a tight hug. Just across the street the darklighter watched the sisters embrace. An evil smile took over when he saw the oldest Charmed One with them.

"You're supposed to be in bed" she scolded for the second time that day.

"And you're supposed to be in the physical plane, but here we are". Prue couldn't help but smile at her surroundings. The ghostly plane was where she found Andy again and where Chris was conceived. She focused her attention back to the problem. "How do we get you home?"

"You need to open the portal that brought us here" Leo informed. "But no more astral projecting or leaving the bed for you".

Prue gave a slight but unconvincing nod before pausing. Piper knew the look on her sister's face.

"We haven't seen him here" she informed softly. Prue gave a kind smile to pretend that she was okay, but Piper could see through it. "Now go rest and get us home so we can find Andy. You're fading more from being here".

Prue looked down at her arms. They were fading away now too.

Prue's Room - Physical Plane

"Are you sure it's midnight, Chris?" Paige questioned, watching the young man fret.

"The Seer just said after today it won't happen …"

"Okay, well let's not be dramatic then".

"My Dad is missing and my cousin is about to cease to exist along with many other family members" Chris rolled his eyes. He had been trying to stay optimistic in front of Prue, but couldn't hold it in right now.

"There's still hope. Andy can't be impossible to find if we can scry for him. We just need to make sure we don't lose physical Prue in the process. I don't want to find out if ghosts without a body can give birth".

Chris let out a huff and took a seat on the bed just as Prue let out a gasp as she astral projected back into her body.

Limbo

Andrew Trudeau struggled to pick the lock to the front door. He didn't think that the Manor would be locked so he had to search for items to pick it with. Off if the distance he heard a demon scream from a vanquish.

After a few rotations in the lock he succeeded. He pushed open the door and made his way into the home.

The inspector took a moment to look around. Many things about the Manor were different. A few pieces of furniture were in different spots than they were when he had been there last. He expected that limbo would look identical to the physical realm.

He paced around the foyer and then made his way into the living room when something caught his eye. A picture frame was placed directly in the middle of the mantel. He approached the photo and recognized Phoebe right away. She was smiling and a man with dark hair and blue eyes had his arms wrapped around her.

Both were wearing wedding rings in the picture. Prue hadn't mentioned Phoebe being married at all. Next to that picture was one he knew very well of the three Halliwell sisters in front of the house. He lifted his hand to grab the frame when a quiet cough came from behind him.

"Well, I didn't expect to see you here Mr. Trudeau" a deep voice greeted.
