Thank you everyone for reading and especially reviewing! The good news is that I have a few weeks off of work and no more weddings to go to so I will be able to write much more haha. Special thanks to: , Beuty6, lizarmomma, IWantColoredRain and Mony19. Mony19, they do keep getting her in trouble, don't they!

"That was close" Piper let out a tight breath as a darklighter arrow soared through the air only seconds after Prue astral projected away. It landed in one of the wooden wall studs.

She turned to her husband and her eyes widened. He pulled his hand off of his shoulder to reveal a dark crimson stain on his jean jacket.

"Leo!" She went into action and pulled him towards the stairs where there were no windows. "C'mon, let's go".

Limbo

"I think it's only fair that I know your name if you know mine" Andrew Trudeau pointed out, eying the tall and solid man standing in front of him.

"You make a good point" he returned, giving a nod.

"You sound like a lawyer" Andy remarked causing the man to chuckle.

"I guess you can't shake some things. What else can you tell about me?"

Andy took a moment to look over the man a little bit more.

"The picture tells me you're close with Phoebe. Married in fact …" He locked eyes with the man. "And I know you're a good man".

Cole laughed.

"I'm glad you think so".

"I know so. I was an inspector for many years. I'm not wrong about these things".

"Then you really don't know who I am". Cole couldn't help but flash a large smile. No one ever told him he was good.

"But I think I do" Andy added. "Because you know my name, you know of Prue too".

Cole's smiled faded instantly. Prue's death was one of the many big events in the series of downfalls for his relationship with Phoebe.

"And I can tell you mourned her death too. Your face gives you away" Andy bit his bottom lip. "What did I miss?"

"You missed that Phoebe broke my heart".

"No, I gathered that but didn't want to bring it up. Now, can you tell me where I am?"

"You're in limbo" Cole informed, flashing Andy his own trademark sideways smile. "But you're definitely not supposed to be here, Dad".

Andy's chest tightened. He barely knew this man and yet he already knew about Chris. If he knew, what did Gideon know?

Ghostly Plane - Alley Way

"If there is a portal it has to be near by" Leo mumbled while running his fingers along the wall to try and find an opening.

"Leo, what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to save you in case he comes back before your sisters get here".

"They're going to save both of us" she assured. "You have a son to get home to".

"I have a son, but not a home" Leo admitted, his green eyes misting up.

"You always have a home if you want it". Piper's eyes began to fill with tears as well.

"I will always want it" Leo added, lifting his hand to caress Piper's cheek.

"I never stopped loving you" Piper confessed, fighting the urge to burst into tears. Leo took the opportunity while he had it. Without thinking, he pulled her into a tight kiss.

As his lips captured hers, Piper pushed away the thoughts she was having about their future and just lived in the moment.

"You're not meant to be here you know" Cole smiled, watching as Andy closed his eyes and attempted to orb for the third time. "But you're stuck here for now".

Andy let out a defeated sigh and opened his crystal blue eyes to see Cole leaning against the beautifully redone wooden door frames.

"Someone really wants to keep you here" Cole added. "And they must be pretty powerful".

"I know" Andy huffed. "It's an Elder who thinks he knows what's best".

Cole smiled and nodded his head before making his way to the couch.

"I only know of one way to break the barriers between realms".

"How?" Andy was desperate. His family had never seemed so vulnerable than it had lately.

"You're not going to like it".

Andy raised his eyebrow at the half demon.

"The only way I know is for one of you to die" he began, taking a moment to scratch his eyebrow. It was a nervous tick he still hadn't been able to shake.

"The psychic energy between you would be enough for you to orb to her through the barrier. It's how soulmates are able to tell when their loved one is killed or hurt when they're thousands of miles away. I've felt it and I'm sure you have too".

"Well that can't happen" Andy added.

"Why? ... Because Prue's pregnant?" Cole smiled as he watched the inspector tense up. Andy's face tightened.

… "Don't worry too much. I only know because of how excited Phoebe is. She hasn't been this happy since before Prue's death".

Andy's posture relaxed slightly, but he still remained tense.

"Prue's death is why we didn't make it. Phoebe gave up on trying. She was the one who was always fighting for us while I was distracted by … everything…"

"What does everything mean?" Andy questioned, taking a seat in a chair across from Cole.

"We'll get to that later. It's not important right now" Cole turned to look towards the picture on the mantel.

"Are you sure?" Andy asked. Cole nodded in response.

"The point is that she stopped fighting for love after Prue's death and what happened in our lives after".

Andy's eyes wandered around the room. It seemed as if he was just in the Manor, but he wasn't really because Prue wasn't there.

"You said you can feel Phoebe?"

Cole nodded again.

"You just have to concentrate".

Andy closed his eyes and tried his best but he couldn't feel anything.

"It takes a while. In the beginning I could only feel her if we were standing in the same spot".

Manor

Prue flipped through the Book of Shadows once again, letting out a loud sigh when she still couldn't find anything. Her green eyes focused on her disappearing hands.

She placed one on her ever growing stomach and smiled. Her other hand hovered over top of the next book she was going to go through for a second time when a light knock came from the door.

"Come in".

Her two sisters tiptoed into the room. Paige was proudly displaying a potion bottle with bright blue liquid.

"Sweetie, we're going to go find Piper and Leo but first we need to make sure you don't disappear while we're gone".

Prue scoffed.

"I won't disappear that quickly".

Paige raised an eyebrow up in disagreement before looking down to Prue's arms and legs. She could see right through to the brown bedsheets underneath.

She turned to Phoebe who's eyes were wide.

"Sorry, majority rules. This should keep your body whole until we figure out what's going on".

"But Phoebe this isn't happening because of a spell. What if it backfires because I'm disappearing from Andy being away?"

Phoebe's head titled to the side and she tried her best to appear to seem certain.

Prue grabbed the potion bottle and gave her sister a wink as she downed the whole potion bottle. After only a few moments her whole body became whole again. Both sisters let out a relieved sigh.

"Good!" Phoebe chirped. Paige gave an approving nod. "Now we must go save the other sister".

Prue laughed before picking up another book off the bed.

"You older sisters are nothing but trouble" Paige teased before grabbing Phoebe's hand and orbing away.

Just as Prue began to flip through the first page a familiar blue light filled the room.

"Hey, you're whole again!" Chris cried as he took a seat on the bed next to his mother.

"See, I told you it was nothing to worry about".

Chris rolled his eyes at her affectionately.

Ghostly Plane

"You don't look so good" Piper commented, placing a hand to Leo's damp and pale forehead.

"I know" he mumbled, lifting his hand up to grab hers. "Listen … about last night".

"I don't have any regrets if that's where this is going".

"It's not. But I'm glad you said that. Because I don't either. I just want you to know that I don't have any expectations. Because I know everything that you went through when I became an Elder. And it just, it wouldn't be fair to put you through that again".

"I'm not sure I understand" she whispered, tearing at his heart.

"I was supposed to go up there right away … but I didn't".

"Because you wanted to find out who Chris was and to protect Wyatt" she cut in.

"They're not the only reasons I didn't go up there, Piper" he added. "I was holding onto you. And because of that I put you at risk and I put my son at risk. I can't let that happen anymore, I won't let that happen".

The darklighter rounded the corner as the last few words escaped Leo's mouth. He aimed the crossbow directly at them once again.

"I didn't expect you to be here still".

"Let her go, you don't want her" Leo growled, standing in front of Piper protectively.

"I don't want a Charmed One coming after me when this is over" he practically chuckled. His grin quickly disappeared when the traffic noises overtook the situation.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you because this time I'll vanquish you for real". Paige sent a wink to the darklighter. She couldn't help but laugh at his eyes as they widened.

"Well, it's about time!" Piper huffed.

"Who sent you?" Phoebe asked. There were too many questions left unanswered. He hesitated until Phoebe raised the potion bottle that held his vanquish.

He opened his mouth to speak but before he could mutter a single sound an arrow soared through the air and went right through his chest. He tried to scream a name, but only his cries of pain were heard before he disappeared.

"I think we're dealing with something much bigger than one darklighter" Leo coughed as he began to lose his balance. Paige and Piper caught his weight and used their shoulders to support him.

"We've got to get him to a healer" Paige noted. Piper nodded. "But I only know of Gideon".

Piper shook her head.

"I will get in too much trouble if I have to see that man. Not after he sent Andy away".

"Okay, I'll drop Leo off and meet you at home" Paige practically ordered.

Piper let go of her grip on Leo just as he and Paige began to orb away.

"Wait, how do we get home?" Phoebe asked, throwing her hands up to where her youngest sister had just been.

Piper laughed at the clairvoyant witch. "Like this. Chris!"

Manor

Prue's smile grew as Chris arrived back in the room with the other two original Charmed Ones. Piper threw herself onto the bed and pulled Prue into a tight hug.

"Nice lipstick smudge" Prue whispered so only Piper could hear her. Piper hit her back playfully.

Chris noticed the blue light appear in the hallway and followed it. He made his way across the bedroom and opened the door slowly. When he got to the other side, only Paige was standing in the hallway.

"Where's Leo?" he asked.

Tears welled up in Paige's brown eyes.

"He said he's not coming back".
