Hey everyone! These are the last two chapters for the main part of the story. In a few weeks I will add on an epilogue though that will be a few chapters long. I may even be able to put it up next week. The story will be taking a bit of a jump for the epilogue :)

Thank you to everyone who has reviewed and read. It meant a lot. I hope you enjoy the ending and that it closes one story while making you wonder about the epilogue that may turn into another story. Special thanks to lizardmomma, Guest, Beuty6, and Mony19! Mony19, this main story is over, but I have a lot more ideas for the world so I will always keep writing haha. I have many things to write for the epilogue/ next story that continues from here. This whole story is an alternate to season 6, but of course it then changes everything else in the show that comes afterwards (thankfully).

Chris watched over Wyatt protectively as he flipped through the Book of Shadows hoping to find information about getting magic back. Wyatt was in his playpen fighting off his naptime. After flipping to the next page, a loud creak rippled through the attic floor.

Chris scanned the room but saw nothing. Wyatt's heavy eyes glanced around the room too. Just as he began to look back towards the book, he heard another creak. He advanced towards Wyatt and reached in to grab his cousin.

And invisible force sent him flying into a pile of old boxes and furniture.

"You have done great things" a familiar voice filled the room. "Don't make me sacrifice you both".

Chris' green eyes widened. He picked himself up off the floor and began to run towards the playpen, making sure not to take his eyes off of Wyatt.

Gideon's stocky frame orbed in front of the playpen just as Chris was approaching. He didn't have time to react as Gideon's athame plunged deep into his stomach. Chris tried to grab the athame but Gideon twisted it before sending the young man back towards the pile of broken furniture telekinetically. Wyatt's shield went up, encasing him in a protective bubble.

Chris opened his mouth to speak but couldn't even take in a breath.

"I just want to make a better world for all of us" Gideon explained. Chris watched in horror as he then used the athame to pierce through Wyatt's shield until it disappeared. The Elder bent down and placed one hand on the toddler, orbing them both away.

Chris let out several quiet coughs as he tried to speak. Finally, he caught enough breath to mutter a few words.

"Dad" he groaned as he rolled over to his other side, clutching at the stab wound. "Leo".

Underworld

Leo's fists tightened and his legs began to shake. He could hear Chris' calls even from the Underworld.

"Something's wrong" he whispered, looking over to the two other sisters. They had been looking for an altar to search for the demons after Wyatt or a way to get back to the surface.

"We already knew that" Paige huffed, kicking at the ground.

"No, this is different. Chris is trying to contact me. That shouldn't be possible in the Underworld".

"Well Leo, he Prue's son" Phoebe smiled. "We've only seen a bit of what he can do".

"Something feels wrong. Really wrong".

"When we find an altar, I can try to tap into dark magic" Phoebe was hopeful.

"No, I need to go now". Leo was shaking with fear. Phoebe nodded to her brother-in-law.

"If I do this, you have to promise you won't let me get tempted by evil again" she pleaded. Paige took her hand and nodded.

"We're right here for you".

Phoebe flashed them a hesitant smile. She pressed her left hand against the rock covered wall and dragged her finger along it to create a small cut. One a few drops of blood began to surface, she closed her eyes. She had to tap into the evil that she had fought off for years to use her own magic. It had never truly left her since Cole, and she'd always been prone to it since she was born over the Nexus, just like Wyatt.

"Blood to blood, I summon thee" she whispered, watching as the drops of blood fell into a small puddle on the ground. "Magic to magic, bring us to thee".

White and black lights danced around Phoebe causing Leo to smile. Even when she tapped into her dark side, her good side was able to show up. Phoebe held out her hands to Leo and Paige. The Elder took her hand right away but Paige stepped back.

"We need someone to make sure he doesn't bring Prue or Wyatt here" Paige insisted. Phoebe began to protest, but Leo nodded as they disappeared into the lights.

Paige waited until they were gone and began to make her way down another hallway, careful to stay hidden along the walls.

Hospital

Prue's heart felt as if it had sunk deep into her chest as Piper finished counting down the last contraction. The oldest Charmed One knew something was wrong.

"We're getting closer" Piper said, looking up from her watch. One of her hands was entangled with Prue's and the other was keeping time.

"Do you need anything else?" Victor asked.

"Yeah, just make sure the doctor that keeps pushing for a C-section stays far away from me" Prue grumbled, leaning her head back against the pillow to relax before the next contraction. "And someone please try and get Gideon to bring Andy here".

"I'll try again, but I think Mom's right about someone from our side being behind this". Piper mentioned. Prue closed her eyes in agreement as another small contraction hit.

"Would it be so awful to have a C-section?" Victor asked. "I want you and Chris to be safe".

"It's too dangerous to have me paralyzed from the epidural with the Source out there. He could be here any minute".

Victor nodded, but his hazel eyes still seemed conflicted. He bent down and kissed the top of Prue's head lovingly.

"Piper, can you please go check on Chris? Something's wrong. I know it".

Piper's chestnut eyes widened as her own fears began to take over. She couldn't take Prue out of her sight, but all she could picture was an empty crib in Wyatt's room.

"Don't worry sweetie, I won't let anyone near her. And I think she's safe out here in public".

Prue bit her lip. She wasn't so sure of that herself.

Attic

Leo and Phoebe appeared in the same lights that took them from the Underworld and landed in the middle of the attic.

"Hello?" Leo glanced around the room, seeing the pieces of broken furniture and an empty playpen.

"Leo" Chris coughed. Both Phoebe and Leo ran to his side and collapsed beside him.

"Oh my God" Phoebe shrieked, taking a look at her nephew's wound.

"Wyatt" Chris choked as Leo placed his hands above the wound. Nothing happened still. Not even a glow.

"Damnit!" Leo cursed. "I still don't have powers".

"Forget about me" Chris ordered. "Gideon has Wyatt".

"Gideon?" Leo's brow furrowed.

"He did this".

"It's been him all along" Phoebe's mouth was wide open as she took the information in. Chris nodded.

"Here, let's get you somewhere comfortable" Leo was still processing. Chris let out a painful groan as his uncle lifted him up off the floor and shifted the young man's body weight onto his left shoulder.

Phoebe guided them down the stairs to Prue's bedroom and helped get Chris onto the bed gently.

"Leo, can another Elder help?" She pleaded, tears forming in her eyes.

Leo shook his head no.

"I don't have a way to contact them".

"But you could hear Chris".

"That's different. He's family and a technically my charge in this world. Or is about to be".

Phoebe took Chris' hand in hers and held it tightly.

"You need to go after Gideon. Saving Wyatt saves me".

"I can save you both". Leo was adamant. He couldn't let Prue's son die. Not after what he had done for their family, and not after he had already lost Prue before.

"What if this is what turns Wyatt? Being taken by someone from the side of good".

"We're not leaving you. We still have time. At least now we know who it is".

Phoebe nodded in agreement.

"Clearly you guys never figured it out before. Who knows what Gideon did to him" she added.

"I bet it was hiding from Gideon for so long that turned him" Leo concluded, ashamed for something that he hadn't even done yet. Future him had let so many things slip through the cracks for the greater good.

Underworld

Andy rounded a corner with his sword in hand, prepared to attack when a familiar face greeted him. The youngest Charmed one looked just as relieved to see him. Andy and another warrior, Eric, had been patrolling to look for the Source.

"Paige" he let out a deep sigh of relief. "Where are the others?"

"Phoebe tapped into … her past to get them up there. Leo thinks something's wrong".

Andy nodded.

"I feel it. We need to find the Source".

"Didn't you feel the rumbling? Phoebe thinks he surfaced or is about to".

Andy closed his eyes tightly. Everything was coming together.

"I think I was sent down here just in time to not notice". Andy's fists clenched. "Eric, can you orb?"

"I should be able to. I can still sense and call for things".

"Good. We may need that soon. If the Source is down here, we'll make sure he doesn't surface".

"What if he already surfaced?" Paige asked, somewhat hesitant.

"Then we go to him" Andy replied. Paige bit her lip.

Hospital

Victor handed Prue another cup of ice chips and took a seat in the chair next to her hospital bed.

"How are you holding up, sweetie?"

Prue took in a deep breath before answering.

"I really wish Andy was here ... or anyone to tell me what's going on. Something's wrong, Dad". Victor's hazel eyes were misty.

"We'll figure everything out. I promise" he assured, grabbing her hand. Just then, Prue was hit with the biggest contraction yet. She threw her head back as her body took control of the labour.

"I'll get the doctor" Victor said as he rushed towards the door. Prue's grip on the mattress tightened as the pain radiated through her whole body. As Victor came back into the room, the ground began to shake. Prue felt her bed shake beneath her and knew what was happening.

Prue's Bedroom

The whole Manor shook for several seconds. Phoebe leaned over and covered her wounded nephew as a few picture frames shook and fell around the room. Chris didn't even react to her throwing herself on top of him.

"That was different than last time. He definitely surfaced" Leo glanced around the room, making sure there was no structural damage.

"Leo" Phoebe whispered, holding back a flood of tears. She placed a hand on Chris' chest as it rose and fell painfully slow. Leo didn't need his medical knowledge to see what was happening.

"You have to hold on a little longer" he demanded softly, taking a seat on the other side of Chris. Blue and white lights filled the room to reveal Paige and Andy.

The inspector closed his eyes tightly before slowly approaching his son.

Paige was in shock. Her chocolate brown eyes were wide and she hadn't even managed to blink.

"You have your powers back?" Phoebe asked excitedly. "How?"

"The spell must be broken now that the Source surfaced". Leo didn't hesitate to throw his hands over Chris' wounds. The familiar golden glow surrounded his palms, but Chris' wounds didn't change.

"Why isn't it working?" Phoebe panicked.

"Gideon's magic did this" Chris' green eyes fluttered open.

"Then we'll bring you to another Elder".

"Find Wyatt and you save both of us" Chris added. Andy's misty eyes met his sons. He knelt at the side of the bed and took Chris' hand.

"We'll find him. I promise". The former inspector was incredibly calm. "But I'm not leaving you until we reverse Gideon's magic".

"You did a great thing coming here" Leo chimed in. Chris still managed to smile for his uncle.

"You need to get to Mom" Chris ordered, struggling to take in his last few breaths. Andy's eyes widened as he noticed the colour disappear even more from his son's face.

Andy lifted a hand up and placed it gently on the side of Chris' face. Their face shapes were the only physical characteristics the two men shared. The rest of his looks came right from Prue.

"Dad" Chris whispered, letting his hand fall to the side of his wound. Andy bit his lip as he continued to fight off the tears. His heart raced as he noticed Chris' head fall to the side and his usually vibrant green eyes slowly closed. He turned to Leo to see the Elder's face turning a deep shade of red. He looked down at his son's chest and noticed that it was no longer rising and falling.

Phoebe placed her head gently on his chest, hoping to hear a heartbeat. She let out a gasp as her nephew from the future disappeared underneath her.

Leo raked his hands over the bed where his nephew had just been. Rage consumed him and he gave into it rather than sadness. He turned to Andy. The shocked father remained silent. His face was pale and his posture was stiff.

"Andy" Phoebe whispered to get his attention, choking back her tears. Andy gave his sister-in-law a blank stare before orbing away.

Leo pulled himself up off the bed and closed his eyes tightly. Paige stood in the doorway, paralysed from shock. She opened her mouth to speak, but wasn't able to get any words out.

Leo's fists tightened as he heard Phoebe's sobs. He hadn't heard her cry like that since Prue's death. It was painful rather than just sorrow. When Cole was vanquished, her cries were more sad than painful.

The Elder's frustration got the better of him and he lifted his handsup, sending bolts of electricity through the air. The explosive blasts hit the ceiling, walls, and finally the area that was set up for baby Chris. A lamp fell and shattered. Paige threw herself at the Elder.

"Leo!" she called out, holding his hands down at their side. Leo's eyes widened when he saw the shattered lamp beside the crib.

"We need to save Wyatt and make sure Chris comes into the world safely. We can't lose either of them".

Phoebe wiped away the tears from her eyes as she pulled herself up off the bed.

"I won't let that happen" Leo was adamant as he orbed away, leaving the two sisters to grieve.

Hospital

Prue's smile grew even more as the nurse placed her newborn son into her arms. His screams of life filled the room. She lifted a finger to trace along his tiny face and landed on the small pieces of dark hair at the top of his head.

"You did great". Victor leaned down and kissed the top of his daughter's head. Baby Chris began to calm down as Prue held him close. The youngest Halliwell's eyes tried to flutter open, giving them both a glimpse of his green eyes. "Yours were green right away too. They say that's rare".

Prue was almost able to forget all of the other problems right there, in that moment. All that mattered was the little boy in her hands. She felt like she could protect him from so many things while he was bundled up in her arms, rather than going after demons.

"We're finished with the after care, but we'll be back once you have some time to settle after the labour to check on you" the nurse explained, handing Prue a small white hat to put on Chris' head. The Charmed One laughed as Chris squirmed while she placed it on his head.

The lights began to flicker, causing Prue to tense up. The ground began to shake next. She gazed down to see that Chris was fighting sleep. She carefully lifted him and handed him to Victor.

"Looks like we're getting another earthquake". Victor assumed as he happily took his grandson into his arms.

"Sorry Dad, that's not just an earthquake" she muttered back to him. "Call Piper back and go with Chris".

"Go? Prue, he's not even an hour old".

"Dad, it's him. It's the Source. I just know it is".

"I won't leave you" his voice was firm. "I'm not losing you again. You have no idea what that's like".

Victor didn't know what his son-in-law was experiencing right now and what Prue would soon feel as well.

"Dad, you're mortal. He can do so much more to you".

"Prue, I may not be magical but I'm your father. I won't let anyone hurt you or Chris and that's a promise".

Prue's eyes became misty.

"I wasn't there the day we lost you the first time, and I will never forgive myself for that".

Prue closed her eyes tightly as she took everything in. When she opened them back up, Victor had Chris' tiny frame held protectively in one arm while the other was held out to her.

Underworld

"Wyatt" Leo's voice called out. "Wyatt it's Daddy".

The witchlighter toddler trusted the voice and orbed into the cave. He had been orbing to escape Gideon.

"Hello, son" the voice became louder as the man approached. Wyatt stuck out his bottom lip and looked at the ground when he realized it was Gideon and not his father. The Elder knocked a crystal forward, completing the crystal cage to capture Wyatt.

"Barbas!" Gideon called out. "Barbas, where are you!"

Barbas rounded the corner, keeping an eye on Gideon the whole time.

"We have to be very careful. The Source has surfaced to get Prue, so we don't have much time". He handed an athame to Barbas. The demon closed his eyes when he took it into his hands, recognizing it.

Without any more hesitation, Barbas plunged the athame deep into the Elder's abdomen.

"Why?" Gideon asked, falling backwards. The athame's poison prevented him from using magic, just like it had with Chris.

"Because you murdered my son" a familiar voice growled from behind him. Gideon turned to see Andy's vengeful glare. White lights danced around Barbas' form to reveal Leo. Leo kicked the last crystal away and took Wyatt into his arms. He turned the toddler away from the scene taking place.

The enraged father lifted his blue Valhalla sword into the air and forced it into Gideon's chest. The Elder screamed before his body shattered into dust.

Leo let out a tight sigh and let several kisses fall to the top of Wyatt's head.

"Is he okay?" Andy asked as the sword orbed away. The former inspector's voice sounded relieved, but his face was still pale and his eyes seemed empty.

"Yeah, I don't think he was with Gideon long enough to do any damage" Leo answered. "What about Barbas?"

"He's the least of our worries for now. I need to get to Prue" Andy replied. Leo nodded, holding Wyatt even closer and shifting him to the other side as Andy orbed away.

Limbo - the Manor

Cole Turner lifted his head to see a young man standing in the upstairs hallway. The man had striking green eyes and a strong jawline. The former demon could feel Phoebe's pain and knew right away. There was no doubt who the young man was.

The youngest Halliwell stared blankly back at Cole. He had seen many pictures of him and heard all about him, but never knew where he had ended up. If Cole was here, where was he?

"Am I dead?" Chris asked cautiously, taking in his surroundings. He was in the Manor, but definitely not on the living plane.

"I don't think so kid" he replied, giving the young witch a kind smile. The former demon sent Chris a gentle nod as he watched him fade away rather than moving on to the afterlife.
