Kumersun Loss

My first story, M because of a depressing suicide. An alternate ending where Holo's and Lawrence's adventures are cut short in Kumersun. Depressing and sad, however I added in an alternate version where the problem is averted and ends happily.

4. The Note

Transcribed here is what Holo had read. The note that Lawrence left for her, before ending his life. Tears were still visible on the sheet of paper.

I am sorry Holo.

I will be unable to fulfill our contract together.

I was ready to throw away my life,

I wanted to run away with you.

I wanted to stay with you.

I wanted you as my wife, Holo.

I loved you, my dear Holo.

All this was taken away because of Amati.

I am sorry, for what I have done.

Please take everything. It was all put on the bed for you.
