And a really big thank you to those who favorite, are following, are have added me to their authors list.

I've been doing better and I'm sorry about the really bad updates but I'm trying. Maybe once summer gets here and this horrid weather is done and over with for another year, things will be better.

In this chapter we're gonna go a little dark and sad, seeing more into Lily's past and those sorts of things.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything except my OC's. Enjoy!

Edit: I decided to go back and change most of this chapter...well...99% of this.

Something wasn't right...

The tour, had been going well as far as I can bother to actually notice but there was something off. I could feel eyes whenever I walked outside of our hotel room or whatever place we were staying at. I haven't told Steve due to the fact that it may be someone of a different matter.

Another world matter actually.

I was warned and I still have that dream locked away somewhere. When the nights get cold I leave the light on, afraid of the shadows that flicker in the dark when my eyes focus enough. If I told Steve, he'll just worry too much or he won't believe me.

"You're staying in the room tonight?" Ask Steve as he got ready to leave. Steve and I shared the hotel room, two beds, not one and it really didn't seem to bother us much. Some nights, we would stay up, drinking tea I would make and we would talk for hours. One good thing about this tour is that we get to spend time together and get to know each other. It's nice to have someone, at least a friend, to talk to.

Or else I'll be with the Colonel taking on the Germans, watching more people die.

"There's nothing to worry about Steve, I'm just going to stay here and do some writing. Maybe go for a walk." he still looked down and I smiled up at him, still a little miffed that he's taller than me. "I'm just not feeling myself." I told him.

"Are you alright?" He asked and placed a hand on my forehead. I rolled my eyes and put his hand down.

"Just feeling a little...different. Maybe I just need some rest, a cup of tea and just a quiet night. You go to the show, sign little children's books and make then happy. Give young men a reason to fight and join and help those already fighting. What you're doing now, is helping people and you need to keep going. Giving people a symbol to look up to." I rested my hand on his cheek and watched as he closed his eyes, placing his over mine.

"You always come." He muttered and I moved my arms around his neck and brought him into a hug. One thing I don't like about Steven's change is how tall he's gotten. I liked it when I was a smidgen taller than him. "But if you're not feeling well then I want you to get some rest." He gave me a kiss on the forehead and broke away from our hug. "I'll be back late, around ten if they crowd is gone by then. Are you sure you'll be alright until I get back?"

"I'm just going to lie down for a bit and relax. I'm sorry I can't come this time and I promise I'll make it up to you." I said to him as he walked towards the door, opening it just a bit.

"Next time we're back at your home, you have to make dinner for me. Deal?" He smiled and I smiled too, giving him one last hug.

"Deal. Now go before you're late. You don't want to disappoint any of those kids do you?" I asked and Steven smiled.

"Alright, alright I'm going. I'll see you later." Steve said and left. I closed the door behind him and closed my eyes, taking a breath before moving towards the desk where papers upon paper were strewn all over the surface.

"Well at least I can get some of this fan-mail and paper work done. Maybe I can even work on my book." The book I've been working is more of my story, through all this and my adventures with 'Captain America'. So far I have three chapters done and it's going along swimmingly.

An hour after Steve left I started to feel funny. My writing slowed and my eyes kept getting heavy. I shook away the feeling, trying to focus on the pieces of paper in front of me. Words blurred together and when I tried to focus even more, a headache started.

Oh no...

"No, not now." No, why did it have to be now? I haven't used much of my energy and I know it's been a while but...Steve is going to kill me when I wake up. I quickly and yet slowly tried to get things ready before I passed out. Getting my bed ready, dressing in my sleeping clothes and then writing a note for Steve to read when he gets here. I felt so sluggish, so dizzy and weak as I wrote in very bad hand writing...

Steven,

I know it's hard to explain but I will when I wake.

My sleep has come early and it might be a while before I wake.

Take care of me. I'm very week in this state.

Forgive me.

Lily...

I placed the note on the table and went to walk over to the bed when I fell to my knees. The room spun and everything felt so wrong. It's too soon...

Then the room went dark.

(No one's POV)

Steve raced back to the apartment as soon as he could. After the show a strange woman said that Lily needed him and he needed to get back there as soon as he was able. A stroke of fear rang through his body as he ran. He forgot about the taxis and ran in his Captain American suit all the way back to the apartment where is she supposed to be safe. He bounded up the stairs to their room where he fumbled with the key. When he opened the door his heart stopped...

Lily was on the floor, unmoving.

"Lily!" Steve cried and dropped to his knees, bringing her into his arms. He shook her, felt her pulse beat slowly beneath his fingers, and let out he breath he was holding. "Lily, Lily wake up. Lily, wake, up." But she wouldn't wake up. Steve picked her up and put her on the bad. He looked around the room for anything that might give a hint to what has happened. A poorly written note was on the desk addressed to him.

After he read it he looked over at the woman laying on the bed and pulled up a chair next to her. He shook his head and took hand in his large ones. Never before has he felt so alone, so afraid before and now this has happened.

"Wake up Lily. You have to wake up soon. I need you."

So, a different chapter and I hope you all like it. I prefer this, not as confusing now. Sorry guys.
