Was gunna draw a comic for Valentines Day but my wrist is aching too much, I might manage it later though…
So here's the lil' story I wrote to go with it~
Jazz was having a bad day.
Himself and Prowl had planned a romantic getaway together for months in advance for this date. Up until this morning, both were under the impression that they'd be having Valentines Day off and would be able to spend the day together far, far away from the Ark.
Unfortunately, it was not to be, as Prowl had been called out on an emergency, and Jazz hadn't seen him since he first sprinted out of their quarters without a word.
Pushing it aside, he had waited at the meeting point they'd agreed to at the specified time, even arriving five minutes early, and half an hour later he resigned to the fact that Prowl wouldn't be coming, and slunk off to the rec room. The rec room which was full of couples, with bright red streamers dangling from the ceiling, huge paper hearts plastered on the walls and balloons bouncing along the floor or seemingly stuck to the ceiling.
Putting on a happy face, Jazz happily chatted with the mechs there until he decided he couldn't put on a happy, upbeat attitude anymore and slunk back to his quarters. He could have stayed in the rec room, but he didn't want to crash the others party. Let them be happy, he wouldn't ruin that for them.
Upon arriving back at his quarters, he discovered that something wasn't quite right. Sitting on his pillow was something he was incredibly sure wasn't there before. In addition to this, the berth was made – something he never did, even if Prowl hated it.
Walking closer, he leaned over and picked up the object on his pillow, finding it to be heavier than it looked. It consisted of a long, green glass rod attached to what looked like a red flower. An Internet search told him that it was a carnation, and another told him what it meant.
I can't live without you.
Jazz could only grin stupidly was he felt a pair of arms snake around his waist, pulling him back into the warm body behind him. Trust Prowl to give him a gift very few would understand yet spoke volumes.
"I'm sorry about today." Prowl quietly said, resting his head on Jazz's shoulder. "I wanted to stay, however they needed my help."
"There's always next time, Prowler." Jazz replied, turning around and grinning, cheekily running his hands over Prowls chassis before resting them on his shoulders. "Besides, Ah'm certain ya'll be willin' ta make it up ta me." He purred, rubbing noses with the slightly taller mech. "We're not expected 'till second shift tomorrow." He added after a moments thought.
This appeared to make Prowls mind up as he hummed, nodded and promptly pressed a chaste kiss to Jazz's waiting lips.
WOW THAT WAS SHORT
Shh, it's still Valentines day where I am!
Anyway – I'm open to requests as always, so if there's anything you want don't be shy~
