Everything was going as usual in Inkopolis, the Squid Sisters were doing the news, Sheldon was working on an update set and the Inklings were battling. However, Judd was lying sick on his usual spot outside the lobby. "Meow...(I shouldn't have eaten so much fish last night)" Judd groaned to himself as he watched the news.
Marie and her partner had just finished the news report and were having a discussion until her iSquid rang, "Hello? Judd? You can't do that! We can't do the news until we announce the stages again! Green and Purple are battling right now in a turf war! Only you can- us? We judge? Fine." she hung up the phone and told the news to her partner. "Fine. We take the server down after this battle though. We can't do this for long." Callie replied as the two left the studio and headed to Walleye Warehouse.
There was still two minutes left for the battle and the two teams were pretty close. Both had rollers and high level players. An Inkling named Josh was camping in the center of the map with a Splat Charger killing anyone who came nearby while an Octoling Hacker named NWPlayer123 was hunting everyone down with an Aerospray RG. "Booyah!" he shouted as he killed an Inkling named "dad". There was now a minute left.
Callie and Marie were watching the turf war from the railing, "Remember when we worked here?" Callie asked, "Yeah, I burned my uniform after I quit." Marie replied. "I bet Purple is gonna win." Callie remarked, "Green is doing better though." Marie teased. They were interrupted by a Splat Bomb that landed between them. "Aim for them not us!" Callie yelled, "C'mon!" an Inkling named DJ Candy said as she swam away.
The timer ended and everyone was teleported off the map. Marie began to draw the Green flag as Callie drew the purple flag. "Green won." Marie said, "No, it was Purple." Callie argued. The two argued and argued while the Inklings waited. "That's it!" Marie yelled as she took out a Tentatek Splattershot and shot Callie. Callie exploded in green ink and Marie drew the green flag. "I've had enough of this." she muttered as she pulled a lever and shut down the servers.
