Abridged summaries:
1. Klaus can't solve a rubix cube. Luckily, some random blonde girl is there to save the day! SFW.
2. Caroline went to a frat party and got wasted, so her boyfriend comes to pick her up. SFW.
3. Caroline is Klaus's first hybrid, but the sire bond doesn't work the way it should. Smut.
kc + 'i bought a rubix cube one day and i couldn't solve it so i threw it out of a window and you happened to be walking by and you pick it up and knock on my door and by the time i've answered it you've casually solved it and i bug you to teach me how to do it' au
Klaus glared at the object in front of him, and it sat there innocently, irritating him simply by existing. He'd gotten the thing from a garage sale down the street, and he was not impressed by this supposed children's toy. It seemed to be impossible to solve, and he now understood why someone would want to sell it.
Taking a deep breath, he decided to attempt to solve it again, and became frustrated when, after a good two minutes of twisting and turning, the thing seemed to be even worse off than before.
He opened his front window and threw it, hoping to have it land in the trash bin resting in front of the small house, but missed, and it rolled in the grass of the front lawn.
Whatever. He'd get it later.
He stood up and stretched, resolving to take a shower and get dressed, suddenly feeling like a lazy Sunday morning was not in the cards for him, and he'd just gotten out of the shower when he heard the doorbell ring.
He pulled on a pair of jeans, not bothering with a shirt (because he wasn't expecting company, so why should he bother?), and opened the door to see a pretty blonde in a sundress, whose eyes widened in surprise before studiously avoiding looking at his chest.
"Hello, love. What can I do for you?"
"Um, this was in your front lawn. Did you drop it or something?" she asked, holding up the Rubik's cube he'd tossed out the window.
His solved Rubik's cube.
"How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Solve it."
She shrugged, not answering, and held out the toy to him.
"No. Show me."
"Wow. If you're not even going to say please, then definitely not," she said.
"Please," he said dryly, taking the cube from her and quickly scrambling the sides again.
Her eye twitched as she watched him twist the sides around and held out her hand. "Give it to me and I'll fix it."
"Fix it?" he asked, trying not to laugh as he handed her the cube and watched her quickly flip the squares back into place and hold it out for him to take.
"Yeah. Fix it," she said, and he saw her eyes flick over the tattoo on his shoulder as she handed the toy back to him.
"Show me how to do it, love. Please."
"Don't call me 'love'. My name is Caroline."
"All right, Caroline. Show me?"
"Do I have to stand on your doorstep while I do it, or will you come out?"
"You can come in, if you'd like," he offered, standing aside.
She stood on the doorstep for a moment, clearly considering the level of safety of entering a strange man's house.
"I'm not a serial killer. I promise."
She snorted, even as she walked into the house. "If you were, you wouldn't tell me."
"That's true, I suppose. Would you like to sit?"
She nodded, sitting on the couch, not commenting when he sat just a bit too close to her, though he thought he saw a flicker of a smile pass across her face, which he took as a good sign.
"Mess it up again and give it to me. Okay, so, see how the middle cube on each side never moves? And how each cube has two sides that show? You want to line up the white cubes in a cross pattern, like this," she explained, flipping the squares so that they lined up on the top. "Now, see how the blue side is always matched with this white one on top?"
"Yes," he said, watching with fascination as her delicate fingers moved the sides while she explained the strategy.
"Are you some sort of math genius?" he asked, noticing her shiver as their hands brushed when she handed him the cube.
She scoffed. "No. I just have access to youtube and like to procrastinate during midterms."
"Odd thing to choose to procrastinate on."
"I guess," she said, shrugging. "I don't know. I like picking up little skills like this. They're useful sometimes. Well, that and my friend Enzo wouldn't talk to me for a week after I showed him up with it. I get a bit competitive."
"I can tell," he said, his lips quirking.
She gave him a small smile. "Okay. Let's see if you can do it. Here," she said, taking the cube from him and flipping the sides to scramble them again before handing it back.
He was acutely aware of her body close to his as she watched him, her scent filling his lungs, the heat of her making his skin prickle. It was almost distracting, but he managed to mostly focus, solving the cube within five minutes after a bit of fumbling.
"Good. All you need is practice now," she said, smiling.
"Thank you, sweetheart. Caroline," he said, correcting himself from the pet name, and she grinned at him.
"You're welcome...Wait, I don't think you told me your name."
"Klaus."
"Okay. You're welcome, Klaus. Anyway, I should probably go. You've accomplished your mission for the day, right?"
"Wait," he said quickly as she stood up, smoothing her sundress around her knees. She paused, frowning at him.
"What?"
"May I buy you lunch? To pay you back for your invaluable assistance?"
She smiled. "Sure. I'd like that. You should probably put on a shirt first, though."
"You sure about that, love?" he teased.
"Yes. Very sure. And my name is Caroline."
"Duly noted."
Klaroline + "You peed on my car. You were drunk. I was in the car. There will be hell to pay."
[1:08am] [To: Caroline Forbes]: You all right, love?

[1:35am] [To: Caroline Forbes]: Sweetheart you said you'd text me at 1. Should I come pick you up?

[1:48am] [To: Blandtrova]: Shouldn't you be dying of alcohol poisoning?
[1:48am] [From: Blandtrova]: You wish.
[1:48am] [From: Blandtrova]: I'm a responsible adult.
[1:48am] [To: Blandtrova]: I'm on my way to pick up Caroline.
[1:49am] [From: Blandtrova]: I'll make sure she's ready to go. We're staying at the party, though.
Klaus sighed and dropped his phone into the drink holder as he slid into the front seat of his car, buckling the seatbelt. His girlfriend had gone to some winter-themed frat party with the Petrova twins (which he'd thankfully talked his way out of), but she'd promised to text him when she was ready to go back home.
Caroline was a lightweight, and they both knew it. Their apartment building was within a ten minute walk from campus, but neither of them were comfortable with her walking around at two in the morning, especially when she was shitfaced.
It was only a ten minute drive, and he was about to find a place to park when he saw Caroline stumble down the front steps of the house, shoes balances on her fingertips, Elena right behind her, brown eyes glued to her phone as her thumbs flew over the screen, no doubt texting one of the Salvatore brothers.
Klaus got out of the car to meet them, and immediately took Caroline's shoes to make sure she wouldn't drop them and offered her his arm, which she took.
"That was so great, hun. You should have come."
"No pet names, sweetheart," he said, letting himself smile slightly at the look of exasperation she shot him.
"I'm drunk. You can't blame me."
"Watch me," he said dryly, pulling out his keys to unlock his car while steering Caroline towards the passenger side.
"Klaus, I feel like I'm going to throw up."
He was about to reply when she doubled over and threw up on the passenger side door of his car. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he gently pulled her hair out of her face until she was done before opening the car door for her and getting her settled in.
When he slid into the driver's side, he tossed her shoes in the backseat and reached into the glove compartment to pull out some paper napkins Caroline insisted on keeping stashed there and handing them to her to wipe her mouth. "We'll be home in a few minutes."
"I'm sorry I threw up on your car," she mumbled, her eyes closed.
"You'll make it up to me," he said grumpily, flipping his turn signal and driving to their apartment building.
"I promise I will."
Thankfully, she didn't throw up in his car, and when they pulled into the garage under the building a few minutes later, she stumbled out, leaning on him slightly. "I love you."
"And I, you, sweetheart. Do you still feel sick?"
She shook her head. "No, just tired."
"Do you want me to carry you?"
"No. I'll be fine."
"All right. Come on, love."
He let her lean on him as they walked to the elevator and he took her to their apartment door, unlocking it. He knew Caroline would feel horrible in the morning, but he needed to hose down the car that night to keep the paint from being damaged. He unzipped her dress for her and gave her one of his shirts to change into before telling her he'd be back in a few minutes and going to rinse off the car.
When he came back, he found her on her side, her legs curled under her, and he stripped out of his jeans and shirt before sitting on the bed beside her, running his fingers through her hair.
"That feels nice."
"How are you feeling?"
"Dunno. Tired."
"I'll get you some water, and then you should sleep."
"I'm sorry for throwing up on your car."
"It's fine, love."
"Are you mad at me?"
"Only for getting yourself sick."
"Ugh. I'm mad at me for getting myself sick," she grumbled, her eyes tightly shut. "Thanks for coming to get me."
"Always."
"I love you."
"And I love you," he said, getting up to get her a glass of water, getting one for himself as well.
When he came back, she'd shifted slightly, and he helped her sit up to drink, despite her protests that she could do it herself.
"I'm fine," she said before taking a sip.
"I know. I just worry."
"You don't have to."
He shrugged, watching her set the glass down on the bedside table and lie down again. "Are you sure your car's okay?"
"Yes," he said, his lips twitching.
"Mmkay. I'll make it up to you anyway."
"Oh?" he asked, bringing the cup to his lips.
"Yeah. Once I'm sober and my head stops feeling like there a small rabid creature attempting to escape my skull, obviously."
He hummed to show he'd heard, nearly spitting the water out at her next words.
"When's the last time I gave you a blowjob?"
"Er…"
"Whatever. Tomorrow morning, I promise. Don't worry, I'll brush my teeth first."
He coughed slightly, setting his water glass on the side table. "Promises, love."
"The teeth-brushing or the blowjob?" she teased, and he rolled his eyes, stretching to turn off the lamp.
"Goodnight, Caroline."
"Goodnight."
Hey, can you do a oneshot like Caroline is hybrid and kind of sired to Klaus (not in a mindless way) and they had this bond that they feel their lust and feels like they have to satisfy each other and end up having sex thousand times a day
"Drink or die, love."
"Are you serious right now?" Caroline asked, an odd feeling creeping down her cheeks, pain blooming in her mouth as sharp fangs descended from her gums, her eyes fixed on the vial of blood Klaus was holding out. "What did you do to me?"
"Well, if all goes well, you'll wake up and be my first hybrid."
"And what happens if it doesn't go well?" she snapped, still resisting the delicious smell wafting from the vial.
"Drink the blood, Caroline."
She sent him a calculating glance before snatching the vial out of his hand and downing it, immediately crumpling to the floor in pain.
Five hours later, she was sitting in Klaus's living room, drinking coffee and watching Rebekah throw a tantrum about her presence while Klaus sat on a nearby couch sketching, his eyes darting up to Caroline every few seconds.
It was clear that he was sketching her, and she restrained herself from commenting, instead taking another sip from her mug and wincing as Rebekah threw a vase, which shattered against the wall.
"Nik, you can't let the little bitch stay here," Rebekah said for what felt like the hundredth time, finally making Caroline snap.
"I'm right here, you know," she said irritably, and Rebekah turned to face her, fangs descended.
"I know, and you shouldn't be."
"Calm down, Bekah."
"I will not calm down."
Klaus pinned her with a glare, and Rebekah deflated, mumbling something about wolf strumpets before stomping up the stairs in a huff, tearing a portrait off the wall and throwing it at them as she went.
Klaus moved and caught it, setting it down next to the couch and calmly sinking back down onto the cushions, staring at Caroline, who held his gaze unflinchingly.
"Come here."
"What? Why?" she asked, her eyes narrowed. "You turned me into a monster. If you hadn't told me clearly that you'd kill me if I left, I would be halfway to Australia by now."
"You'd like to go to Australia?"
"I'd like to go anywhere far away from you," she said.
"Now, love, you can't mean that," he said, his eyes calculating.
She realized that she'd surprised him somehow, that he hadn't been expecting her to say no, and she couldn't quite figure out why. He leaned back, remaining silent, and she curled up on the chair, sipping her coffee, holding eye contact before looking away to observe her surroundings. "Why am I here?'
"Because you're a hybrid. My first hybrid."
"Why does that matter?'
He cocked his head to the side. "Because you're not acting as I expected."
"Did you expect me to just fall at your feet and do whatever you wanted?"
"Essentially yes. I turned you first, but your...companion followed shortly after, and he's sired to me. You, however, are not. Or at least, not in the way a sire bond usually functions."
"What do you mean 'sired'?"
"I am his alpha. His first instinct is to do what would please me. You, however…"
He got up in one smooth movement, dropping his sketchbook and walking to her, and she set her coffee on the side table, standing to face him almost instinctively, trying not to lean into his body heat, to revel in his scent so close to her.
What was wrong with her? Why was she reacting so intensely to his touch?
"I believe that I may have underestimated you, sweetheart."
"How?"
His lips quirked, and he reached to trail a finger down her cheek. She let her eyes close as an electric current seemed to explode from where their skin brushed, her entire body heating. She felt comfort in his touch, an odd need for his affection, for his mouth to consume her, his scent to envelop her...
"What magic is this, sweet Caroline?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," she said, a flush rising in her cheeks.
"You do not bow to my will as the others do. You do not cower before me. There are very few explanations for this, none of which are agreeable to me."
"Me having free will is disagreeable?"
"It's not so much you having free will as the reason why you do."
"Are you ever going to tell me the reason, or are you just going to keep talking about how annoyed you are that I'm not your slave?" she asked dryly.
"You misunderstand me, love. I am not irritable because you are not enslaved, but rather because the magic that created us believes you to be my equal. My alpha female, if you will."
"Well, if it's all the same to you, I'd rather not."
"You say that Caroline, and yet I can hear the thrum of your blood moving through your veins, your undead heart beating so slowly in your chest. I crave you, Caroline. All of you. And, if I am not mistaken, you feel the same about me."
She backed up a step as he reached for her again, shaking her head. "This isn't...I'm not...I have to go."
Caroline turned to speed to the front door, but Klaus had caught up to her before she could even leave the room, grabbing her wrist and pulling her to him. She sucked in a sharp breath as he pulled her flush against him. "You seem to be under the false impression that you have a choice in this, love. We are bound together by the moon, and it has fated you to belong to me."
"I don't belong to anyone," she said, trying to wrench her wrist out of his grip, but he held fast, his other hand resting on the small of her back, the heat of his palm burning her through her blouse.
His lips curled into a smile at her words, and he cocked his head to the side.
"Perhaps not," he said quietly, his nose brushing hers.
He held eye contact with her for an uncomfortably long time, and both of them just stood there, unwilling to look away. Instinct told Caroline that to look away was to submit, and she was unwilling to give in.
His cock twitched against her thigh as he inhaled her scent, his thumb sneaking under the hem of her blouse to rub circles on the bare skin of her back, and she felt the beginnings of arousal pool between her thighs. She inhaled sharply as he bent to brush his lips against her ear, his stubble scratching pleasurably against her cheek.
"You want me, Caroline. I can almost taste you now, imagine your arousal on my tongue."
"Klaus," she whimpered, not knowing whether she wanted to encourage him or push him away, but reveling in the feel of his teeth on her earlobe, the way his hand darted down her back to play with the waistband of her jeans.
"You are mine, Caroline," he whispered, his voice soft but rough, making her shiver as his breath brushed against her skin. "Every last inch of you. I want to watch your mind go blank as you succumb to the pleasure I'll bring you with my tongue, watch you spread your legs for me and beg for your alpha to fill you."
To be truthful, she wasn't sure why she had been so resistant now that he was pressed against her. She could feel her need for him throbbing in her lower belly, her core aching for him to fill her, but she could also somehow feel how desperate he was for her.
Klaus groaned low in his throat when she brushed her thigh against the bulge in his jeans, his entire body radiating his need for her touch, and he pulled away from her ear to lean his forehead against hers again, both of them breathing raggedly. Their eyes met, and they held each others' gaze for mere moments before his lips crashed into hers.
The pull between them was magnetic, and she melted against him, moaning as he ground himself against her thigh. He released her wrist to bury his hand in her hair, the other pressing her against him.
Caroline fisted the back of his shirt and let out a soft sigh against his mouth, moaning loudly when he bit her bottom lip, drawing blood before sucking it away. She could feel the prominent bulge in his jeans against her thigh, and she couldn't help but spread her legs, searching for the friction that he gave her as Klaus released her wrist to cup her ass, pulling her to wrap her legs around his waist and pushing her against the wall.
She rolled her hips against him, throwing her head back as he ground against her through their clothing, his tongue, lips, and teeth nipping and licking pleasurably at the sensitive skin of her neck.
"Do you want me, Caroline?" he asked again, and she felt overwhelmed by the heat and arousal building in her body, her lust for him, her need to be covered by his scent, for him to fill her.
"Yes."
Her clothes were ripped away as soon as she spoke, her and Klaus's mouths meeting frantically as she reached between them to free his cock from the confines of his jeans, wrapping a hand around his shaft.
She stroked him twice, her thumb ghosting over the tip of him, and he groaned, his head moving to rest against her shoulder, scraping his blunt teeth along her skin. She moaned as he set her down, turning her around to face the wall and trapping her against it with his body, his cock hard against her ass.
He pinned her wrists on either side of her head, bending to kiss and nip at her neck. "Keep them there," he said quietly, letting go of her hands to guide himself inside of her, one hand steadying her hip, the other reaching to splay across her lower belly.
Caroline moaned as he filled her, her walls clenching around him as she heard him groan. "Move, please," she gasped out, and she felt him smile against the skin of her neck as he began to move, fucking her hard and fast, the slap of skin against skin filling the room.
"My Caroline," he muttered, scratching his nails along the skin of her stomach before beginning to rub her clit, making her legs quake underneath her. "Such a good girl. Moan for me, sweetheart. Yes, just like that."
Her moans were coming out in sharp pants as he moved her body slightly so that every thrust of his cock hit her g-spot, and she shook against him, her legs unable to hold her weight as he brought her to the edge.
"Do you like the way I feel inside you, Caroline?"
She nodded, moaning loudly when he pinched her clit lightly.
"I love how wet you are for me, sweetheart, the way you moan for me. Do you like the way I claim you, love? Do you like it when I push you against the wall and fuck you from behind?"
"Yes, Klaus."
She felt the pressure in her lower belly tighten, and she was so close to tipping over the edge. She just needed a little push...
"Do you want to come, my Caroline?"
"Yes," she gasped out through gritted teeth, her fingernails making indents in the plaster of the wall, cutting small holes in the wallpaper.
"Beg your alpha to let you come."
The words escaped her before she had time to think about them. "Please let me come?"
"Not good enough."
"Klaus…"
"Beg," he ordered, his voice rough and unforgiving.
"I need...Please, Klaus. Please, I need you to let me come. You feel so good inside of me...I'm so close, please…"
He kept the same pace, and she moaned loudly, cracks beginning to form in the plaster under her hands as she remained just on the edge, her body unable to find release.
"Klaus…"
"Who do you belong to, love? Tell me."
"You," she gasped out, almost sobbing with pleasure. "You, I belong to you. Please…"
His finger brushed her clit as he sunk his fangs into her neck, and she shattered around him, her entire body shaking with the pleasure of her release.
Klaus groaned her name as he spilled inside her, fucking her through his orgasm until she slumped against him, both of them spent.
"Mine," he whispered, pulling her back against his front, his hand wandering lazily across the flat plane of her abdomen, his nose buried in her hair.
