Walking back into the locker room Paul couldn't help but smile softly seeing Stephanie sat with her laptop in front of her but instead of working she was staring off into space, "you know you won't get much work done like that don't you?"
Jumping a little at the sound of his voice she turned her head to look at him but she couldn't quite read the look on his face, "yeah I know but working is overrated today."
Laughing softly he went and sat down beside her and relaxed back on the couch, "if you don't do your work then you'll get fired."
"Would that be such a bad thing?"
Turning in his seat to look at her he frowned immediately reaching for her hands, "you don't mean that, you love the WWE and your job so there's no way you would actually want to be fired."
Sighing softly she also turned in her seat to look at him, "I know, but if I wasn't working here then there would be no problem with us being together would there?"
For Paul this conversation was definitely taking a slightly more depressing turn, "but we're together now aren't we? I know it's in secret and not in public right now but at least we are together and we do have each other and you still have your job."
Removing her hands from his grip she stood up and pulled her skirt up slightly before she sat back down straddling his lap, "we shouldn't have to date in secret though should we? We should be able to date in public and not have to hide how much we love each other."
Slipping his arms around her waist he pulled her close to him, "but the whole secrecy thing is such a turn on. Sneaking into each other's room at night and snatching kisses and cuddles here and there whilst at work when nobody is watching is so hot."
Raising her eyebrow as she listened to him talk she wasn't sure if he was serious about that or if he was just trying to make her feel better, "I can't decide if you're being truthful or lying to me to try and make me feel better."
Laughing at her reaction to his statement he couldn't help himself as his hands slid to her bare legs and started to rub them gently, "why don't you tell me if I'm being truthful or lying to you?"
Slapping his chest gently with her hand she quickly grabbed his hands and moved them from her legs and back to her waist, "down boy. We can't do that, not here."
Pouting he held onto her gently, "well you're just cruel and violent today and I don't like it at all."
Leaning forward she silenced his protests with a soft kiss to the lips immediately gasping when he opened his mouth and his tongue came out to lick her lips begging for entrance to her mouth stealing its way inside when she opened her mouth to gasp.
He knew it was risky to do this here and now without the door being locked but not everyone was here yet so things were still quite quiet and relaxed so he didn't think they'd be interrupted anyway. Sliding his one hand up her back until it was on the back of her neck holding her mouth to his he then slid his other hand beneath the back of her shirt and gently rubbed her bare back with his fingers.
Moaning into his mouth she was in heaven and loving every second of their impromptu make-out session. Sliding her hands to his chest she gently rubbed it as they continued to kiss.
As the minutes passed things were getting more heated between the two of them and their touches were starting to get a little more x-rated but they sprang apart when there was a heavy knock at the door.
Jumping up from Paul's lap Stephanie pulled her skirt and top back down and tousled her hair with one hand whilst wiping her mouth with the other. As she looked at Paul she couldn't help but laugh softly at the surprised look on his face but she couldn't question him on it as there was another heavy knock at the door followed by them calling her name.
Quickly sitting back down Stephanie opened the script on her laptop before she invited them in and then pretended to be working.
Lifting her head as the door opened she plastered a smile on her face when one of the other writer's walked in, "Brian, what can I do for you?"
Brian seemed shocked to see Paul sat in the locker room also but it wasn't his place to ask about it, "I wondered if you had some notes from page three of the script that I could have please? I've kind of lost my piece of paper with the notes on and wanted to do some work on it."
Picking up her script she quickly flicked to page three, "give me a minute to transfer the notes to my laptop as I hadn't quite got that far yet and then you can have the notes."
Nodding his head in acknowledgement he smiled softly, "thanks. I'm just going to grab a coffee so I'll come back for the notes once I have it if that's okay?"
"Sure that's fine, it'll give me enough time to do what I need to do."
Brian was surprised by how pleasant she was being as everyone knew she'd been in a bad mood since the second she arrived in the arena, "would either of you like anything from catering whilst I'm there?"
Paul shook his head and quickly stood up, "no thanks, I've got some stuff that I need to get done."
Stephanie watched as Paul walked out of the locker room before she turned to Brian, "I'd kill for a coffee if you're getting one for yourself anyway please."
"Sure. Do you take milk or sugar?"
Nodding her head quickly she looked down at her script and then back at him, "no milk but if you just grab a couple of those sachet things of sugar then that'll be great thanks."
"Absolutely. I'll be back in a couple of minutes and thanks for this Stephanie."
She just shrugged as she watched Brian walk out of the locker room before she turned her attention back to the script and quickly started typing out the notes for page three so he could have it when he got back.
Brian walked into catering and started to make two cups of coffee when one of the other member's of the writing team approached him, "have you heard about Stephanie's behaviour today?"
Raising his eyebrow as he looked at him Brian was confused, "meaning?"
"Well she is said to be in a foul mood and snapping at everyone."
Rolling his eyes Brian liked his job and definitely wasn't going to get drawn into this discussion, "well considering what I have heard from people in regards to what's going on in her personal life would it be any surprise if she was snapping at people? Personally I'm not getting involved in this discussion as I actually like my job and don't want to lose it but from a personal standpoint I can say that she hasn't been in a bad mood or snapped at me and that is all that I care about and it is all you should care about too if you value your job as much as I do."
"What have you heard about her personal life? I heard she'd been forced to break up with Hunter by Vince."
Grabbing a couple of sachets of sugar and a stirrer from the table Brian just picked up the two cups of coffee and made his way out of catering before he tipped his coffee over the other person's head for not taking the hint.
Walking back to Stephanie's locker room he was unable to knock as his hands were full so he gently pushed the door open with his shoulder, "I return with coffee."
Lifting her head from the script Stephanie smiled softly at him, "thank you so much for this."
Taking the coffee, sugar and stirrer that were offered to her she placed them on the table beside her laptop before she grabbed the script and ripped out page three and handed it to him, "there you go. Just give it back to me at the next meeting please so I have the full script again."
Nodding his head Brian took the script from her outstretched hand, "will do. Thank you so much for this and I'll let you get back to work so I can do the same."
Turning around Brian walked out of the locker room allowing Stephanie to turn her full attention back to the laptop in front of her just as soon as she added some sugar to her coffee.
