A/N : Its good to see Autumn enjoying herself after getting away from that evil town .

Chapter 5 : Shirley Temple
Local Bar
Fortune , Traci Brooks , and Autumn Wilder walked into one of the local clubs to celebrate the victories that night .
" I can ' t believe that Bischoff thinks that I am just going to lay down for one of his jackasses to get the World Title back . Who does he think I am ? " James was ranting because at the end of the show Bischoff announce that Storm was going to have to take on one of the Immortal guys of Bischoff ' s choice the following week in a title match .
" He ' s trying his best to get the World Championship back in the hands of one of his Immortal boys . " AJ said .
" That way they have the power back on their side . " Roode added .
" Well Bitchoff and the rest of his Immortal bimbos can forget about it , they will have to pry the belt from my cold , dead hands . " James said .
" Why are we worrying about them when we are here to celebrate ? " Traci asked .
" You ' re right Traci , we are suppose to be here having a good time . " Kazarian agreed .
" Yeah , so , lets have fun . " Daniels looked at his friends .
Autumn was looking around at the bar it wasn ' t what she was use to . She hadn ' t exactly introduced herself to booze yet , especially after what she experienced at the hands of her drunk father .
" Autumn , why are you quiet ? " Roode asked her .
" Nothing , this is just my first time in a bar . " Autumn looked at Bobby .
" Hmm , I am going to get a drink . " James walked to the bar with Daniels , Kaz , and Traci behind him .
" You sure ? " Bobby asked her .
" Its nothing Bobby , I don ' t want to ruin the fun . " Autumn didn ' t want to sound like a nerd .
" Its not a bad thing , you not wanting to drink . " AJ said from behind them .
" Its not that I don ' t want to , its that I am scared to drink . " Autumn admitted to Bobby and AJ .
" You don ' t have to drink , you can just hang out with us . " Bobby said putting his arms around her .
" Yeah , lets find a table . " AJ said as they walked over to a free table and waited for the others .
Soon Storm , Frankie , Traci , and Daniels came to the table drinks in hand .
" You guys are not drinking ? " James asked .
" Not tonight James . " AJ answered
Bobby glanced at Autumn who looked miserable . He put a hand on her shoulder and she turned to look at him .
" Come with me . " Roode said .
" What ? Why ? " Autumn asked scared .
" Just come with me , you don ' t have to be scared . " Bobby gave her a reassuring smile and his hand .
Autumn got up and took his extended hand , he lead her up to the bar . James watched them go , curious as to what was going on with them .
" What ' s up with Autumn ? " Daniels asked .
" I think being in the bar is bringing back the memories of her dad . " AJ answered .
" I take she has never drinked anything with booze in it . " James realized .
" So , why is Bobby taking her to the bar ? " Traci asked .
" Don ' t know , " Frankie said .
Bobby and Autumn finally reached the bartender .
" What can I get you ? " The bartender asked .
" How about a Shirley Temple for my friend here ? " Bobby asked .
" Certainly , not a drinker , ay , ? " The bartender asked again , as he fixed the Shirley Temple and handed it to Autumn .
" No , she ' s not . " Bobby answered .
" And what can I get you sir ? " The bartender asked .
" Do you carry non - alcoholic beer ? " Bobby asked .
" Yes , we do . " The bartender answered .
" Give me Erdinger . " Bobby answered .
" Yes sir , " The bartender handed Roode one of the non - alcoholic beers .
Roode paid for both drinks and lead her back to the table where the group was waiting for them .
" Bobby , does this have alcohol in it ? " Autumn asked .
" No , its a Shirley Temple , all it has is ginger ale , grenadine , and cherry juice . " Bobby answered .
" What is grenadine ? " Autumn asked .
" Pomegranate syrup , " Bobby told her .
" And they make non - alcoholic beer ? " Autumn asked .
" Yeah , they do . " Bobby said he said taking a sip of the drink he had . It was different but he would drink it for Autumn .
" Bobby ' s got non - alcoholic beer ? " Storm asked when they were sitting down with the rest of Fortune and Traci .
" Yes , I do . " Bobby looked straight at the Cowboy .
" And what do you have ? " Daniels asked Autumn curious .
" Shirley Temple . " Autumn answered tasting it and found that she actually liked it .
" So ? " Roode asked her .
" You always come to rescue . " Autumn smiled at him .
" Of course . " Bobby looked at her happy that she was smiling again .
" Uh , Bobby , " AJ looked at the Canadian Enforcer curious .
" Yes , AJ . " Roode asked .
" Nothing , " AJ thought better of it .
James was staring straight at Bobby , he knew what AJ was about to ask him . But , he also knew AJ enough to know he thought better of it . But , James could see it for himself without even asking , Bobby Roode was falling in love with Autumn and if he didn ' t know any better , he would also be willing to bet that Autumn was falling in love with Bobby as well and neither one had said anything to other about it yet .
" So , what else happens when one goes to a bar ? " Autumn asked .
" You want to dance ? " Bobby asked .
" Sure , " Autumn said , she loved to dance , but never got the chance when she was little .
" Here , " Bobby once again took her hand and lead her to the dance floor .
Bobby and Autumn danced for a while and Autumn was smiling bigger than she had ever smiled before . She was now dancing with Bobby Roode , the man who had touched her heart three years ago and took her away from her painful childhood home . Bobby had been in her heart and dreams ever since she first met him and she knew what she was feeling towards him . But , she also didn ' t want to scare him away by being to pushy , so , she was going to say anything until he did .
" So , is just me or are those two in love with each other ? " AJ asked in a quiet voice to the ones still at the table .
" I know that Bobby is in love with Autumn , I can see in the way he looks at her and treats her . I also wouldn ' t bet against Autumn being in love with him by the way she smiles at him . But , I can say with a definite yes that neither of them has said anything to the other . " James answered watching the two .
" They were definitely crushing on each other three years ago . " Daniels said .
" And now they are in love , but haven ' t said anything . " Kazarian agreed .
" Exactly , " James said .
" Do you think they are scared to let the other know ? " Traci asked .
" I don ' t know , but how about this ? Traci , why don ' t you ask Autumn about it whenever you get the chance and I will talk to Roode to see if we are not just guessing at the situation . " Storm suggested .
" Okay , " Traci agreed .
" So , we are going to help the two realize they like each other ? " Frankie asked .
" That ' s the plan . " James said .
" Sounds good . " AJ and Daniels both said .
" But no blabbing to them about it . " Storm warned them .
" Right , " AJ , Daniels , Kaz , and Traci agreed .
Soon , Bobby and Autumn were back at the table .
" Did you have fun ? " Bobby asked .
" Yes , I did , thank you . " Autumn answered .
" No problem . " Roode smiled .
" You dance better than the Cowboy . " Daniels said .
" I can ' t help it if I was born with two left feet . " Storm defended himself .
" Yeah and Harris was born with two left hands which could explain why Triple X won more matches against AMW . " Daniels agreed .
" Which lead to us beating you with your own move in a Six Sides of Steel match . " Storm answered .
" That reminds me of a joke . " Frankie said .
" What joke ? " Traci and Autumn both asked .
" Well this man walked up to an elderly ladies house and knocked on the door . When the elderly lady answered the door , the man said mama I am sorry but I just ran over your cat and the man went on to say I don ' t how you would feel about it , but I would like to replace your cat . And the lady said well I don ' t know , but how are you at catching mice . " Frankie said .
Everyone at the table laughed at Kazarian ' s joke .
" Ha , why didn ' t you tell me that joke when Harris teamed up with Matt Hardy against Bobby and myself ? I could have used it . " Storm chuckled .
" Because I didn ' t know the joke at the time . " Kazarian smiled .
" How good are you at catching mice ? " Autumn laughed .
" Was Harris any good at catching mice ? " AJ asked .
Storm only laughed hard at that comment .
" Are the two of you still close ? " Autumn asked the Cowboy .
" Yeah , I still see him every once in a while . When we both are not busy . " James answered .
" Well , how about we call it a night guys ? " Traci asked stretching .
" Sure , " Frankie answered .
They all finished their drinks and left the bar . Soon all of them were back at their own homes .
Autumn ' s Apartment
" Wow that was a great first day as an Impact Wrestler . I won my first match , got to hang with Fortune again , and met a new friend in Traci Brooks . " Autumn said .
Autumn was finally getting to see the dream she had as a kid become a reality that she was very happy for her future . Her only hope now was that maybe that future contained a certain Canadian wrestler named Bobby Roode . Even though he may not realize it , the moments she was sharing with him was healing her broken heart and mending the hurt she went through as child . He made her feel like it was okay to laugh and to follow her heart where ever it may guide her .
Autumn got ready for bed in silence and finally locked the door and climbed into bed after a wonderful day . She drifted to sleep with a huge smile on her face and once again dreamed of the Canadian Enforcer , Bobby Roode .
