Chapter 6 : Operation : Pep Talk

Next Day

Robert Roode walked into Fortune locker room the next day to get ready for a photo shoot with Storm . The office wanted shots to further the Fortune storyline with Immortal , but also wanted shots with Storm and the World Title . Roode couldn ' t be any happier for his Tennessee buddy winning the big title and being able to represent the company by carrying the TNA World Championship .

" Morning Bobby , " The Cowboy said when he saw Roode .

" Hey , James , you ready for the photo shoot ? " Bobby asked .

" Hell yeah , but I need to ask you a question partner . " Storm looked at the Canadian .

" Okay , go ahead . " Roode looked at Storm curious .

" I don ' t know how to exactly ask this and don ' t go off on me . But , do you have feelings for Autumn ? " James asked Roode .

" Uhm , feelings as in what kind of feelings Cowboy ? " Roode asked .

" Are you falling in love with Autumn Wilder ? " Storm clarified .

Roode thought for a moment in telling James to bug off and let him deal with it , but that would be wrong and maybe his friend could help him .

" Yes , I am in love with Autumn and I want to ask her out , I don ' t know if its a good idea . " Roode said truthfully .

" What ' s holding you back ? " James asked .

" I don ' t want to be to hasty after what happened in her hometown . " Roode said .

" Bobby , outside of not liking the bar last night , she seems fine and if you don ' t ask her out now someone else may end up liking her and asking her first . Do you want that ? " Storm asked .

" No , but how do ask her without hurting her ? " Bobby looked at James for assistance and his opinion .

" Why not let her know how you feeling about her and ask her out on a date . " Storm suggested .

" And then what ? " Roode asked again .

" Let her decide , if she says yes and that she likes you as well , take her out . But , if she doesn ' t say yes and don ' t like you then let it be . I understand you are trying to help her deal with the problems she is dealing with from what happened at the hands of her father and that anti - wrestling town and I am not saying stop . What you are doing for her is a good thing , but if she says no , don ' t make a big deal out of it and hurt her , understood ? " James asked .

" Yeah , I hear you and thanks for the advice . You ' re a good friend , Cowboy . " Bobby smiled .

" Don ' t mention it , now lets get to the photo shoot . " Storm said .

Beer Money walked to the area for the photo shoot and the cameras got pretty good shots of both of the gentlemen including the ones of Storm with World Title .

Autumn Wilder ' s Apartment

Autumn was in her apartment wondering watching film and studying the different Knockouts of TNA , she had to be ready for who ever the office decided to make her go against next . Autumn wanted nothing more than to please her bosses and the people in the TNA office and continue to do what she loved infront of the TNA audience . While Autumn was deep in thought her phone rang and she picked up the phone to see Traci Brooks on the caller ID .

" Hey , Traci , whats up ? " Autumn asked when she answered the phone .

" I need a friend to go shopping with and Frankie is to manly to go on a shopping spree , so , would you go with me ? " Traci asked .

" Sure , I need to get something for the photo shoot and I need someone ' s opinion . So , I will go with you . " Autumn agreed .

" Alright , I will pick you up in a little while . " Traci said .

" Okay girl , bye . " Autumn said and both girls hung up the phone .

Soon Traci was at the apartment and Autumn was in her car and they were headed to the mall .

" So , Frankie does not like shopping ? " Autumn asked .

" No , he doesn ' t , at least not with me . Something about taking to long , now he and Daniels can spend all day in a comic book shop . " Traci said .

" Uh hu , do you have superhero on your hands ? " Autumn asked giggling .

" Yes I do and trust me I have to watch out when he starts putting on a mask and a cape , its funny . When Daniels is around the spandex comes out and then it becomes crazy . " Traci said as both girls laughed .

" Who wears the spandex , Kaz or Daniels ? " Autumn asked .

" Both , " Traci said .

" Wow , yeah . " Autumn said .

" So , what about you ? " Traci asked .

" What about me ? " Autumn looked at Traci .

" Do you have a superhero in your life ? " Traci asked .

" No , I don ' t . " Autumn sighed knowing who she would like to be her superhero .

" So , you never had anyone that saved you from a bad situation or helped you out in a time of need ? " Traci questioned .

" Bobby Roode has helped me out quite a bit lately . " Autumn answered thinking of all the help the Canadian Enforcer had given her in finding someone to trainer to last night at the bar helping her to overcome her fear of the bar .

" You and Bobby sure did look real cozy last night dancing at the bar . " Traci said .

" What ?! " Autumn asked .

" Autumn , you can ' t say you didn ' t enjoy yourself dancing with Bobby . " Traci informed her .

" Okay , maybe I did , but I don ' t get what you are trying to ask Traci . " Autumn said confused .

" Do you like the Canadian Enforcer ? " Traci asked .

" Yeah , I do . " Autumn said .

" Like him , like him , you know as a boyfriend ? " Traci making sure .

Autumn thought for a moment looking out the car window at a water sprinkler and the image of Bobby in her most recent dreams came back to her . Then she looked back at Traci smiling .

" Yes , I do , I am in love with Bobby Roode . " Autumn admitted .

" Then why haven ' t you told him ? " Traci asked .

" Because I am not sure if he is that into me and I don ' t want to make him uncomfortable by asking him . He has been so good to me and really helped me out in a tough situation . So , I don ' t want to risk a good friendship by looking like I am coming on to him by asking him out . No , I will let Bobby be the first to ask . " Autumn said .

" I think you should tell him and then let Bobby decide what he wants , either way you shouldn ' t hold in your feelings for him . Autumn its your decision rather you should tell him or not , but remember its Roode ' s right to decide as well . " Traci informed her as they got to the mall .

The girls shopped for awhile , getting clothes for both of them and then they left the mall .

Later

James Storm was on the phone with Traci Brooks to tell her what happened when he asked Roode about Autumn .

" So , he said that he would ask her later and see what she would do . " James informed Traci .

" Good , because that is what she is waiting on , is for him to ask her out . She told me this afternoon while we were out shopping that she wanted Bobby to be the one to make the first move . " Traci told the Cowboy .

" Well , I guess we wait and see what the two love birds do . " Storm said .

" I hate waiting , Storm . " Traci said .

" Well , you know what they say , ' you can lead a horse to water , but you can ' t make him drink ' " James said .

" You and your Cowboy sayings , so , I guess the first step is done ? " Traci asked .

" Yep , Operation : Pep Talk is done and now onto Operation : Wait and See . " Storm answered .

" And if he doesn ' t ask Autumn , do know that I am going to put Operation : Kick Bobby ' s Ass into play . So , be warned that your partner may go missing soon . " Traci said .

" Sure , well I got to go . " James said .

" Bye , Cowboy . " Traci said .

Traci walked into the room with Frankie .

" So , the first step into getting Bobby and Autumn to admit they are in love with each other was a success , now onto the second step . " Traci said .

" Sounds good to me . " Kazarian agreed .
