Chapter 15 : Preparations
Thursday Afternoon - Fortune Locker Room
Early Thursday afternon before the whole locker room got to the Impact Zone , Fortune , Traci Brooks , Sting , the X - Division and Chris Harris were meeting in Fortune ' s locker room to layout the plans against Immortal . The larger group was a little shocked when Chris Harris walked into the locker room with Cowboy and Sting , but they did not question this decision .
" Everybodies here , so , lets get started . " AJ said .
" So , what is the plan to take down Immortal ? " Autumn asked
" The main objective as of right now is to detach Hogan from Immortal . " Sting said .
" So , we are going after Hulk . " Roode said .
" Exactly , the true driving force behind Immortal is Hogan like we assume . " Sting told them .
" Then who is ? " Daniels looked at Sting .
" Eric Bischoff is the one calling the shots . " Sting said .
" Then why are we going after Hogan ? " Storm asked .
" Because , Hogan is the motivation for the ones in Immortal . Think about it , most of the wrestlers here know exactly what Bischoff is capable of when he sticks his hands in a wrestling company . " Sting said .
" Disastrous , " Kazarian said .
" Nice word there Kaz . " Daniels said .
" So , Sting , you are saying that Hogan is pretty much being used by Bischoff to motivate the others in Immortal ? " Autumn asked .
" Yes exactly , Hogan was also used to try and blind the fans and Dixie Carter to Bischoff ' s real plan to take over Impact . Its kind of like a magician using one hand to destract the audience while the other hand is full of trickery and deceit to what Bischoff really was planning . " Sting explained .
" So , Hulk has been brainwashed so that Bischoff could use him to make Dixie , the Impact roster , the fans , and everyone else believe that Eric had turned over a new leaf . So , that way Bischoff gained Dixie trust under false pretenses where Dixie is willing and trusting enough to sign a blank contract that was suppose to get Abyss out of the company when we all thought he had finally went mad , but instead that contract gave Bischoff control over TNA which lead to Hogan , Flair , and Immortal gaining the power over the company and everyone that is involved with TNA . " AJ laid it out .
" That about sums it up . " Sting said .
" I was right all along , Bischoff really is a snake . " Storm said .
" So , what is Flair ' s role in Immortal ? " Autumn looked up .
" Motivation , his mind set , anybody that has sided with Flair over the years have become bigger stars because of Flair being the mentor . His mind for wrestling is unbelievable and he also is the dirtest player in the game , so , he also knows how to use sly methods to get the job done . " Sting said .
" He can also talk a good game . " Harris said making them turn to look at him .
" What ? " Amazing Red asked .
" He knows how to use his words to sway people to do what he thinks is right . Think about how many guys he got over the years to side with him , guys that were considered to be great minds and great thinkers , Flair swayed all of them to take on his beliefs and goals and make them their own which made all of them much more effective as allies and helped Flair to keep his tight grip on his helpers . It didn ' t take much for him to get those four on his side . " Harris said looking at AJ , Kazarian , and Beer Money .
" Hey , we ' re not gullible . " Kazarian glared at Harris .
" I didn ' t say you were and that might be what helped all four of you see the truth to what Immortal was doing and that Flair was doing more to harm TNA than help the company that you guys would willingly stand up to defend . " Chris said .
" Chris , has a point , we did believe Flair ' s words until he started to show his true colors . " Storm said .
" But , we won ' t let Impact fall because of it . " AJ said .
" Okay , so , what about Jeff Jarrett , is he really going to let Eric Bischoff run the company he founded into the ground just because he doesn ' t want it in Dixie ' s hands ? " Autumn asked .
" I don ' t really know if Jarrett has thought everything through yet or not . But , I do know that Jarrett is blinded by greed and anger . Before Bischoff came to TNA , Jarrett was pushed back into doing mediocre work in a company that he founded . So , Bischoff coming in and giving Jarrett a little power boosted his ego to see blindly to the truth . As for Karen ' s involvement I think its just where ever Jeff goes Karen will follow him . " Sting answered .
" We can deal with Karen . " Traci said .
" Not until we strip some of the power away from Bischoff and Immortal or Eric could use his power to cause us trouble . No , I have a friend dealing with Jeff and Karen Jarrett . " Sting said .
" Who ? " The group asked at once .
" Kurt Angle . " Sting answered .
" Good friend . " Roode said .
" So , what is the plan for tonight ? " AJ asked .
" I want to get some information on Immortal , but in order to do that we need to cause a distraction in the Impact Zone tonight that way Immortal won ' t feel the need to go into Bischoff ' s office . I think something is amiss in Immortal and has been for awhile that has given them an edge during their matches especially when Jeff Hardy had the World Title and was wrestling Matt Morgan and Ken Anderson . " Sting said .
" You suspecting foul play ? " Storm asked .
" Yes , I am . " Sting answered .
" Who is going in to get the info ? " Jeremy Buck asked .
" You guys , the X - Division and the ladies . " Sting said looking at Autumn and Traci .
" Sounds good to me . " Autumn said .
" It will be my pleasure . " Traci agreed .
" The X - Division will watch the girl ' s back to make sure they don ' t get into any trouble . " Sting added .
" We ' ll do it . " Brian Kendrick said .
" Thanks for the help . " Autumn looked at the X - Division .
" Don ' t mention it , watching after you girls to take Bischoff down will be our pleasure . Nobody messes with the X - Division . " Max Buck said .
" So , what about the distraction ? " Roode asked .
" Well if you guys would like to be my I . C . P . for the night then the distraction will go off without problems . " Sting said .
" I . C . P . ? " Fortune asked .
" Insane Clown Posse . " Sting said holding up clown masks .
" Oh yeah , Immortal won ' t know what hit them . " Daniels said .
" So , what about Harris ? " AJ looked at Chris .
" Simple , we need more than one Sting tonight to pull this off . That is if you are still willing to go through with this Chris . " Sting was also looking at the Wildcat .
" Hey , you need a fake Sting , then I am your man . " Harris chuckled .
" So , why are you helping us ? " Kazarian asked .
" Redemption . " Chris said .
" You sure you will find it here ? " Daniels asked .
" He will , " Storm said causing everyone to look at him .
" James ? " AJ asked .
" This is between me , Sting , and Cat , so chill guys . " James said standing up and walking into the bathroom of the locker room closing the door behind him .
" I trust you because James does , but know this if you turn your back on us or if in anyway you try to hurt Storm . I will be your worst nightmare , understood , Wildcat ? " Roode questioned Chris making sure he knew Bobby meant what he said .
" Understood , Bobby . " Harris said to Bobby .
" Alright , so , we all understand the plan for tonight ? " Sting asked .
" We understand . " They all said to Sting .
" Good , now I leave you to get ready , Harris come with me . " Sting said .
" Sure , " Harris said leaving with Sting .
