Chapter 17 : Great Legend
Orlando Mall
The day after the Operation : I . C . P . at Impact , Autumn Wilder and Traci Brooks was out at the mall enjoying a girls day for themselves . They walked by a video store and decided to go in .
" Lets check out what kind of film they have for wrestling . " Autumn said .
" Sure , but why do you want film ? " Traci asked .
" I am thinking about adding in a new finisher move to my arsenal that I can use quicker on my opponents . " Autumn said .
" I thought you loved your 450 splash ? " Traci looked at Autumn .
" I do and I will still use it , its just I don ' t like having other people interfere while I am trying to set up the move . " Autumn said .
" So , what are you exactly looking for ? " Traci asked again .
" I don ' t know yet . " Autumn answered .
" You don ' t know ? " Traci questioned .
" Yep , reason that I am looking . " Autumn said pulling out a wrestling tape that had Owen Hart on it .
" That is a good choice . " Traci said .
" God bless him , he was one of the greats in wrestling . " Autumn said .
" You two are not related by any chance are you ? " Traci looking at the picture of Owen and then looking at Autumn
" No , we ' re not , why ? " Autumn asked curious .
" Because the two of you have similar features . " Traci said still holding the video and looking at Autumn .
" As much as it sounds cool Traci , that would be impossible . I was born in the USA and was brought up in an Anti - Wrestling Town , where everyone including my father hated wrestling . " Autumn reminded her .
" I think you should hold on to this , you may find out that some of the things you think are impossible are actually possible , Autumn . " Traci looked at her friend .
" Sure , why not and it could also maybe help me improve my wrestling by learning from a great legend like Owen . " Autumn said .
" Of course , " Traci said .
Once they had paid for the items , they walked out of video store .
" So , now where do you want to go ? " Autumn asked .
" To find clothes , I have a date with Frankster tonight and I need something to wear girly . " Traci smiled .
" Yeah , do you want something laid back or do you want to knock him off his feet , Traci ? " Autumn asked .
" Honey , sometimes you have to go with both . " Traci said as they walked into a clothing store .
" Okay , " Autumn said .
They shopped around for clothes and other stuff for both of them until it was time to go due to Traci having a date with Frankie .
" Thanks for the day out Traci . " Autumn said once they were back at Autumn ' s apartment .
" No problem , we need time to ourselves every once in awhile girl , later . " Traci said and left .
Autumn ' s Apartment
Autumn was in her apartment watching film when her cell phone rang .
" Hello , " Autumn answered .
" Autumn , what ' s up ? " Petey Williams asked .
" Hey , Petey , what ' s going on with you man ? " Autumn asked happy to hear her mentor ' s voice .
" I ' m good , been seeing a lot of you on TV lately . Somebody is helping Sting and Fortune take down Immortal I see . " Petey laughed .
" Yes , Karen made a nuisance of herself and then Immortal attacked me , so , I joined Fortune and there is something else you must know before the dirt sheet or press gets wind of it and you find out through wrestling grapevine . " Autumn said .
" Please tell me you didn ' t murder Karen or Bischoff because as good as that maybe for TNA , I don ' t think I can post bail on a murder charge . " Petey asked .
" No I didn ' t kill anybody yet , so , don ' t tempt me , Petey . But , what you should know is that I am dating Bobby Roode . " Autumn said .
" What ?! Wow , that is big news , good for the both of you . " Petey was happy that they both finally admitted to liking each other .
Bobby had always called checking on Autumn ' s progress during her training and Autumn had always asked Petey if Bobby was alright when ever she knew Petey had talked to him . So , the Maple Leaf Muscle was glad they were together now .
" Yeah , he makes me feel special and has helped me heal quite a bit from the ordeal I went through during my childhood . " Autumn said .
" Good , so , what are your plans for your next match ? " Petey asked .
" I am looking for a new finisher , one that I can set up faster than the 450 . " Autumn said .
" Hmm , let me tell you a secret and who you should look at Autumn . " Petey said .
" Please do , because I have hit a brick wall so far . " Autumn said and then listened to what Petey told her .
" You got what I said ? " Petey asked .
" Yes , I do and thanks for the help . " Autumn said .
" No problem kiddo . " Petey knew that Autumn would be able to handle it .
" So , how is Coach D ' Amore ? " Autumn asked .
" Yelling at the new recruits at the moment . " Petey said .
" The one thing I don ' t miss . Tell D ' Amore to be careful with the windpipes and to keep the youngsters in line . " Autumn said .
" Sure thing , well let me go and help Scott , bye Autumn " Petey said .
" Later , Petey . " Autumn said as she hung up the phone .
Autumn then went to her laptop and looked up what Petey had told her . She watched the film until she saw what he had been talking about and Autumn loved what she saw .
" I got to hand it to the Destroyer , this will definitely be a good move to add to the list . Hmm , I need a guinea pig . " Autumn said picking up the phone and calling Bobby .
She told him what she wanted to do and he was only to happy to help and said he knew the perfect guinea pig to help them .
