When Amy was approached by Vince to do something for him by taking care of Stephanie her first reaction was 'no way in hell' but as she thought about it a little more she had an idea, "what is in it for me?"

Vince was not best pleased that she wasn't going to do it for nothing but he should have expected it, "if you do a good job of taking care of Stephanie and essentially spying on her for me then I will grant you a title match and maybe even a title reign depending on the information you gather for me."

Nodding her head that was what Amy was talking about and she could go for it, "I will agree to that on those terms. What exactly do you want me to find out from Stephanie?"

"I'm not going to tell you what I want, you're just going to find out what you can and then you will report back to me and tell me what you can find out."

Appreciative of not being given a direct order on what information to get from Stephanie she left the locker room and headed in the direction of Stephanie's locker room but stopped dead when Vince said, "don't knock on her locker room door, see what you find by not warning her and getting invited in."

Shrugging her shoulders Amy kept on walking in the direction of Stephanie's locker room. Arriving outside her locker room she took a deep breath before she just pushed the door open and walked inside a little shocked to see them jump away from each other.

Stephanie felt a little panicked when Amy burst into the room and they pulled away from each other and she gripped her knee as she jarred it, "fuck. Do you not know how to knock on the door?"

Looking at the floor Amy was nervous as she seemed pissed, "I wasn't sure that anyone was in here so I just pushed the door open to see if you were here or not."

Paul moved to the edge of the couch, "I think this is my cue to leave. Are we done here with the promo for tonight Steph?"

Aware that he was trying to preserve the idea of them being separated she nodded her head, "I think we are thanks. I've got the main points down and I will just put the finishing touches to it once I'm done here with Amy. Thank you for your input, I appreciate getting your feedback on the idea."

Nodding his head he got up from his seat, "you're welcome. It was interesting throwing around ideas for the promo seeing as it's all got to change. Do you want me to arrange a new ice pack for you on my way down to the ring as I pass the trainers room?"

Trying not to smile she took the ice pack off her knee and tossed it at him as he walked away, "yes please, my knee is feeling a little better from the ice."

Catching the ice as she threw it at him he walked towards the door, "make sure she rests her knee please. I need a wife that can climb on the apron."

Rolling her eyes Stephanie pointed at the door, "just get out, you only want me to help you win."

Smirking over his shoulder he said, "why else do you think I married you?"

Stephanie shook her head, "Amy please shut the door on my husband."

Turning around Amy shut the door firmly.

Once Amy was shutting the door Stephanie moved the laptop onto the coffee table and moved her knee from the coffee table to stretch it out across the couch, "so what is it exactly that I can do for you Amy? It must be important as you just barged in here without an invitation or knocking."

Shaking her head Amy looked at the floor nervously, "it's actually not that important, I just wanted to talk about what is in the future for my character and I wasn't sure where you were so was just checking rooms that were more likely for you to be in."

Sighing Stephanie pointed to the chair just to the side of her, "well take a seat and you can ask the questions that you have for me about your character."

A few questions about her character later and Amy decided to do what Vince had asked of her, "I think that's about all of the questions I have for you about my character. Can I ask you another question though please?"

Nodding her head Stephanie thought it would be about a storyline so she was willing to listen to it, "go on."

"I was just wondering if it was true that you and Paul had split up in real life? There's a lot of rumours about what's going on between the two of you and I just wondered what the truth was."

Stephanie was pissed off that she came in here under the guise of talking about her character but instead she seemed a little bit more interested in her personal life but before she could answer there was a knock on the door. Sighing softly she turned her attention away from Amy to the door, "come in."

One of the trainers walked in, "I had a request from Hunter to bring you a new ice pack for your knee."

Smiling softly as he walked over to her she took it from him, "thanks for this, it had actually been helping a lot."

He nodded his head, "it will, it helps bring the swelling down so you should always ice an injury. Even if it is feeling right again still keep an eye on it and don't do anything too strenuous like running or working out until you are certain that it is healed."

Nodding her head she had already had this lecture, "I know I know. I think I've had that lecture about four times now, I'm not as stupid as people think I am."

The trainer frowned, "I'm sorry, I wasn't around last night when you injured yourself so I didn't know what exactly you had been told and how much detail you'd been given but you have to admit that you're kind of stubborn."

She would have been offended if it wasn't true, "I'm not stubborn, I just know what I believe in. It's okay though, I know I'm stubborn and I do appreciate the care you give to every single person who gets injured so I'm sorry for snapping at you."

The trainer just shrugged, "I can see that you're under a lot of pressure with work and the injury so it's understandable that you're a little stressed so I haven't taken it personally. I've had worse from the wrestlers, mainly your husband, so really this was a piece of cake."

Laughing she shook her head "I apologise on behalf of him, I know he is the world's worst patient and I have tried to tell him to be nicer to you. I'll let you get back to work now though but thank you for this however I have a quick question please. Do you think I should have my knee strapped before I go to the ring?"

"Depends. I would be inclined to say yes to be on the safe side but if you're wearing a skirt you might not want to. If you want your knee wrapped for the show drop by the trainer's room at least half an hour before you need to be doing work incase there is a small wait and we will be happy to do it for you."

Nodding her head she smiled politely, "thank you, I might see you later."

"You're welcome. If you have any other problems you know where I am."

Watching as the trainer left the room Stephanie then turned her attention to Amy, "so where were we?"

Amy pointed at the door, "I was just going to leave, I have to meet someone to talk about the match tonight so I've got to go. Thanks for the help with my character."

Stephanie was kind of amused by the way Amy ran out of the room, if she hadn't thought she was up to something before she would have been certain about it now. Ignoring Amy's weird behaviour she turned her attention back to her laptop to finish off the promo for tonight and to get it sent to Vince before the next production meeting.
