A/N : There seems to be tension in the Fortune rank that revolves around whether they can trust Harris or not , I wonder if they can ? But anyway back to the story .

Chapter 19 : Wheel of Destiny

Thursday Night Impact

It was Thursday night and time for Impact wrestling , the Impact Zone was packed and the wrestlers were ready for action . Autumn was getting ready for her match which would move her up in the Knockouts Tournament that was to begin that night , everything she had worked for would be right at her grasp as long as she wins .

" Autumn , you ' re up . " Traci said .

" Wish me good luck girl . " Autumn said walking out of the locker room in ring gear .

" Good luck , " Traci said .

Fortune Locker Room

The Fortune boys were in their locker room looking at the TV monitor so they could watch Autumn ' s match and to make sure no one in Immortal interfered .

" This is probably Autumn ' s biggest match to date . " Daniels looked at the guys in the room .

" Yeah , at the end of this tournament is a chance for Autumn to be the Knockouts Champ , so definitely a big match for her tonight . " Bobby agreed as the door to locker room opened .

Everyone looked up to see Traci walk in and then Harris .

" Hey guys , do you mind if I chill in here for awhile ? " Traci asked .

" No not at all . " AJ said .

" What happened ? " Frankie asked walking from the bathroom and looking at Traci and then Harris .

" It wasn ' t Chris , its Karen driving me up the wall and being a bitch . " Traci said .

" Ah , well , you know she is Immortal ' s mouthpiece . " Daniels said .

" Bottlesucker is more like it . " Storm said making everyone in the locker room laugh .

" So , Harris , what is the plan from Sting tonight ? " Roode asked .

" Make sure Immortal doesn ' t overstep their boundries . " Chris said .

" Well the only way to actually do that is to lock them all in the steel cage . " James shook his head .

" Ooo , " Kazarian said .

" Ooo ? Frankie are you okay ? " Daniels asked .

" Yes , thank you Storm . " Frankie said standing up .

" For what ? " Storm looked at Kaz confused .

" You just gave me an idea , later guys . I need to go talk to the X - Division and Machine Guns . " Kazarian said getting up and running out of the locker room .

" What did I say ? " James asked looking at the others still confused .

" I don ' t know , but Frankie is definitely jumpy about something . " Harris said .

The Ring

It was time for the first Knockouts match for the tournament and the fans were excited and going crazy . Soon , " Hands of Wicked " by Dale Oliver played in the arena to announce the arrival of Winter to the ring accompanied by Angelina Love , anyone who wasn ' t freaked out by Winter was booing her . Next " So Beautiful , So Evil " by Digital Summer played and out came Autumn and all of the fans cheered to see her as she slapped hands with some of them before entering the ring .

Autumn and Winter looked each other up and down as the ref called for the bell and then they locked up and started going at each other with move after move . Winter definitely had the power advantage , but Autumn had the speed and athletic ability to give her an extra edge in the match . The only thing was Autumn had to watch her back with Angelina out at ringside , anytime she went to do a move off of the top rope Love was right there causing interference . Love also intervened whenever the refs back was turned or when Autumn had been knocked out to the floor .

Autumn eventually got an Impaler DDT in on Winter which help to put the match in her favor . She hit everything on Winter , including her Hurricarana off the top turnbuckle move . At one point Autumn was going for the submission by locking in the Iron Maiden aka Triangle Choke move , but Angelina got involved by getting on the ring ropes which caused the ref to get momentarily distracted and Madison Rayne a chance to come out to the ring and break up the hold Autumn had on Winter , Rayne left before the ref noticed . Then the ref saw Winter on top of Autumn in a pin situation which caused him to start the three count , but Autumn got her arm up at just the right time before the ref could bring his hand down for three .

Angelina towards the end of the match tried to interfere again while Winter tried to spray Autumn with the Blood Mist , but Autumn ducked which caused Angelina to get the Blood Mist instead of Autumn . This gave Autumn enough of an opening to hit the Enzuigiri on Winter causing her to go face down on the mat which gave Autumn a perfect opening for her new move . She bounced off the ropes and hit a devastating Shining Wizard which she calls the Wheel of Destiny on Winter which won her the match . Autumn actually had to breath for a few moments because of the adrenline rush from the match , but then got to feet allowing the referee to raise her arm in victory as she move forward in the tournament and closer to the Knockouts Championship . She finally left the ring walking up the ramp with a smile on her face as she shaked hands with the Impact fans and left throught the curtain .

Backstage

Autumn was standing backstage trying to catch her breath after the match when Roode ran up to her .

" Haha , you didn ' t it and the move worked perfectly . " Bobby said .

" Yeah , it did and I feel great Bobby . " Autumn said putting her arms around the Canadian Enforcer not caring who saw them .

" Good job , Autumn . " AJ said walking to them .

" Thank you , AJ . " Autumn smiled .

" I guess me being your tackling dumby actually helped . " Daniels said .

" More than you know CD . " Autumn laughed .

" I guess Winter is sorry about her damn luck now . " Storm laughed as the others laughed with him .

" I also bet Love is feeling pretty crapping right about now too . " Traci said .

" And what about Madison not being able to get the job done when she ran out there to stop me ? " Autumn asked .

" Her too . " Traci said as the girls hugged .

" Are we missing somebody ? What did you guys do with Kaz ? " Autumn looked around .

" Hey guys , Frankie has a surprise for us . " Harris ran into the backstage area .

" I love surprises . " Storm said .

" Come on then I will show you . " Harris said as they followed him .

" What could Frankie have done now ? " Traci asked .

" No , clue , by the way nice match out there Autumn . " Chris said .

" Thanks , " Autumn looked at Harris , but dismissing any suspicion .

" So , where is Frankie ? " Daniels asked .

" By the cage . " Chris said as they walked up to the steel cage to see Frankie , the Motorcity Machine Guns and the X - Division standing by the cage .

" What are they doing ? " Roode asked as they got closer and saw everyone of the Immortal members except for Bischoff and Hogan locked in the steel cage .

" See guys I told you Storm gave me an idea . " Frankie said .

" Well what do we have here ? " Autumn asked as everyone laughed at Immortal .

" You bitch let me out of here . " Karen said .

" Looks like a bunch of rats to me . " Storm said ignoring Karen Jarrett .

" And their bimbo and he - man and the old fart that pays them . " Traci added .

" Who is who ? " Daniels and Kazarian asked .

" Jarrett is the bimbo , Karen is the he - man , and Flair is the old fart . " Autumn said .

" Wow , that is good , nice job , Kaz . " AJ said as they all laughed again as they began to walk off .

Harris was the only one who stayed behind , he was actually looking at Jarrett .

" What do you have to say for yourself Harris ? I was the one who picked you to be apart of Impact at the start of TNA , I was the one who allowed you to be apart of the Jarrett Army , and I was the one who vouched for you to Hogan and Bischoff after you bailed on TNA and jumped ship to those so called greener pastures in WWE where they beat you down and then threw you out leaving you to drown in your pitiful state of being lost . I gave you everything including the strength to walk like a man again , but you turned your back on everything I did for you . " Jeff Jarrett looked at Chris .

" Wrong man , you didn ' t do that for me . You put angry thoughts in my head ones that caused me to see blindly to the truth and the menace you allowed to be brought to TNA . You let Bischoff , Hogan , and Flair come into TNA , the company that I loved and helped build , you allowed them to try and tear this place apart . You don ' t see the mess that you are making of the company you founded . I once believed in you Jarrett , I once looked up to you as a mentor , and I once saw you as someone I could call my friend and that I could trust , but you threw it in my face . You made me use my anger to blame Storm and the rest of Fortune for my problems and you made it where most of them can ' t even trust me anymore , those guys were the ones I called friends , the ones I called my brothers , and the ones that I knew respected me because of who I am and what I made of myself . I use my head and my heart to see me through situation and you used my head and heart to poison my body and soul , but I have seen the light and the truth my old friend and its guiding me back to the person I should be . I just hope you can see it in time that you are making a bigger mistake than I did , you are trusting in guys that helped tear a company apart , one that you were once apart of so you should know the truth . But , for some reason greed and jealousy has clouded your mind and judgement and those people that you let in here and chose not to stand against are destroying Impact Wrestling . I will not stand by and watch this company be ripped to shreds like you have , I will fight for what is right , because it feels right in my heart and I know its right in my head . Sorry , Jeff but this is the one time where I have to stand against you , I just hope before the fight is through you will stand by me brother and not let the unjust be your final fate and destiny . " Harris preached to Jarrett before walking away .

Sting was standing in the shadows waiting for Harris .

" Chris , " Sting said .

" Yes , Sting . " Chris said looking up .

" Nice words and nice job with not letting Jarrett mess with your head . " Sting said .

" I just hope what I said will make a difference with him . " Harris sighed .

" Just remember there is always hope . " Sting said .

" I will . " Chris said .

" You are learning , go . " Sting said dismissing him .

Harris walked away without another word .
